Mr Hoang Lawn & Garden Service

Two operators brought a heavy mowing machine with large tires ito my yard, mowed the lawn, trimmed edges, blew off any debree from deck and cement area by pond and left. They were friendly and curteous. I really was hoping for the best, as others have described in the descriptions they wrote about this company. I was planning on asking for garden service as well as mowing because, now that I am 80, I cannot handle that kind of work anymore but still want the yard to look nice.The first time they came I was happy with their work. But the second, third and fourth times were real disaster. The large tires of their machine left ruts where they ran it, the grass looked wavy and very uneven, and worse of all, they left large clots of dead grass in the wake. I had to rake up these clots or I would have had muddy holes where no grass grew all over. I do NOT like to be a crabby old complaining lady and I do not think I should have to be to get decent work. I simply fire them and look for someone who gives me a decent job instead. That's what I did.

They did very well. They are still doing our lawn for the end of summer time. He does a great job and we are happy with his work.

Service was excellent. The serviceman was fully knowledgeable about the appliance and had all the necessary parts and supplies to perform the repair. Repair was completed quickly and the cost was quite reasonable.

He is prompt. He had been out four times. He comes every Friday afternoon. He does very nice work. He really does a nice job. My son agrees. His work is excellent. The price seems reasonable.

They removed some yarrow plants, rocks and some leaves and yard debris from the raised beds in our backyard. They also roto-tilled 8 bags of compost (I had already purchased the compost) into the raised garden beds. They called me back the same day that I called and said they would stop by in the afternoon. They called at 6pm and said they could not make it until next week. I asked what day and he said that he'd call me back when he knew. He did come to my house and give me a quote of $140 on the day that I first called. When they came to do the work the following week, there were 2 guys and they were nice enough; however they broke the nozzle on my hose and their work was very sloppy. They also tore up some of my herbs that I had told them to leave. I even had each herb marked so they wouldn't till those. They were nice and got down to business, but I think I will try someone else next year.

Mr Hoang did not do the work. They were to go to my property and give an estimate. When I did not hear back from them, I called. They explained that I was out of their service area. I reiterated what I told them the 1st time, that I wanted a full year contract, not just a one time deal. He said he would talk to his father, and call back. They never did.

Outstanding overall. Very competitive bid, quality service, and punctuality. Will use again and again!

I called Mr. Hoang on a Monday and he came out that afternoon to give me an estimate on what it would cost to arreate my yard. He came out two days later and he and a worker did the work. They covered the whole yard. I've had other companies that have done a bad job and not done the whole yard and have used inferior areators. I will use him again for other services.

Every Spring, the owner will contact me to see if I need his services. I have used this company for 10 years. Throughout the many years, I have been extremely thrilled with them. They are dependable and do good work. Upon my recommendation, my neighbor began using the company, too. They come on a weekly basis and complete the job in approximately 15 minutes.
