Movemasters

We have moved 4 times over the last 13 years three of which have been interstate moves and this one that was a local move. By far this has been the most seamless move we have experienced. The quality, efficiency and professionalism were outstanding! The 6 man crew arrived on time, began work immediately and stayed on task the entire time. They were all polite, friendly and professional. I have never seen people that worked harder or faster than this crew. Everything was packed well, nothing was damaged and it was all accomplished in 7 hours on day one. On day two the crew loaded three 26 ft moving vans, delivered to our new residence that was a short 10 miles away and then unloaded the three vans in 6 1/2 hours time. I have never seen movers move so quickly and still nothing was damaged. They also set up and placed all the furniture where we wanted it. They even moved some things twice when we changed our minds on the room we wanted it in. They did all this with patience and a smile. I would highly recommend Movemasters to anyone that needs a moving company!!! A huge Thank You to Dave Charles and all the guys.

From the gentleman that came for the estimate to the 3 young men who performed the move, the service was excellent. They were prompt, energetic and professional. The movers moved quickly and precisely with no damage done to either my furniture or the walls. Some things were left behind - which was totally MY fault (I was too exhausted to check basement). For a small fee they came back a few days later and moved the last few items. I know they are highly rated on AngiesList and I can see why. I have used movers quite a few times and these are the best I've ever seen.

Great job. A couple of scrapes and scratches on a couple pieces of furniture, but all-in-all, very good. Professional, punctual, friendly and courteous. Only disappointment was that they didn't bring shrinkwrap for the carpeted stairs and walkways. That would have been nice. They also came in a few dollars under proposed price, which I've never before seen. That was nice. I have already recommended them to a friend (my mom, actually). Good people!

Dan came to give me an estimate. He looked the house over and was very professional. I scheduled the move and on the date I called them to confirm and they came that day and packed. Four courteous, pleasant, employees came and packed all day. The next day the moved all my belongings. They stayed late unloading and putting the boxes where we directed them to and at times moving them again by our request never rushing. The final cost was just $50 over the original estimate. They even came and picked up the boxes after we were done unpacking our belongings. It worked out very well. I have already recommended them to a friend.

The team showed up on time and ready to work. As I picked up the trucks they began wrapping furniture in blankets and plastic wrap. No time was wasted. The crew chief was excellent at packing the trucks tight and using all the space in the truck. We easily fit our 3,600 square foot house into the two trucks. Nothing was damaged or broken during the loading. Upon arrival in California nothing had moved or even shifted in the trucks. Excellent job of padding and packing.

They were efficient, powerful, and energetic during the move. They were intelligent and absolutely excellent to work with.

Movemasters arrived on time with 5 guys and two trucks. They worked continuously through the day and completed the work a little ahead of the proposed schedule. Although we kept way too much stuff, they moved everything into the new place and put stuff where we wanted it and help us stack stuff up where there was too little room. Some of our furniture slated for the finished basement was simply too big to go down a narrow stairway try as they might, so we chose a more accessable location. The guys were courteous, worked fast, worked hard and placed things where we asked them too and even moved some of the things a couple of times since we could not make up our minds. The total bill came in a little under the original estimate. I hope to never have to move again, but if I do I will call on Movemasters!

First of all, my past moves were almost all nightmare scenarios. The last time I moved three of the four movers were drunk and they actually hid a bunch of our belongings in the basement area under the staris. Everything was so chaotic, we didn't notice until we went back to clean. We had to rent another truck to move those items ourselves. OK, now for the good stuff, actually the great stuff. These three young men were amazing. They were ninja movers. Running up and down the stairs (there were three levels), joking, laughing, and doing everything perfectly. It was like watching a precisely timed performance. There was a ton of stuff to be packed, everything from an entire office, the equipment, filing cabinets, and all the supplies, to housewares, closets full of clothing, bookshelves with a few hundred books, and on and on. They were so pleasant and polite and they worked so hard. In my wildest imagination I couldn't have dreamed up this experience. Also, I am not given to exaggeration--you may think this all sounds too good to be true, but honestly, I feel like Robert, Brian, and Isacc saved my life. My situation was precarious and they got me moved in the time I said I had to be gone. Also, the person who took my order was polite and understanding. I received an itemized bill. They picked up the clothing boxes exactly as promised. I recommend Movemasters to everyone I know. I will call on them again if and when I move again. Just can't say enough great things about the whole experience!

They arrived on time, were very pleasant and helpful, even though it was exceptionally hot that day. The whole move was done in approximately 6 hours. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone searching for a good moving company. Their crew of 4 did an amazing job and we were very pleased with the service and the price.

We did the packing and moved most of the small stuff. They showed up with 3 trucks and 8 men. About 6 hours later they left. They put everything where we asked and had to move several large pieces down a narrow stairway. The estimate was the lowest we got and they came in under estimate. The office staff were helpful and friendly. The crew was friendly and professional. It went better than we expected.

They were really good. Exceptional. I would use them again.

Fast and courteous email response. Straight forward pricing quote ($96/hr. billed in 15 min. increments with no hidden costs). Quick and efficient movers. Ended up costing less than quoted. All in all, a great experience. Will hire again.

I highly recommend Movemasters. Movemasters has moved me three times, and each experience has been an absolute pleasure. The estimates have always been spot on in terms of both time and cost, and the men that moved my goods were extremely courteous, efficient, and professional in both demeanor and appearance. They always go out of their way to make sure my items are packed and moved securely, and they always unload the items in the appropriate areas of my home. They consistently go out of their way to make sure I'm pleased with my move. These are definitely the nicest, classiest, and most professional movers in town; I have recommended them to several friends and family members and will continue to do so.

Great crew they worked fast and efficent and completed entire move including drive time and lunch under estimate. These guys took extra care wih my items and were friendly and professional at all times. Will certainly use them again and have reccomended them to others. Just completing this evaluation some 8 months later as I just joined Angie's List and found them on this site. P.S. the great ratings came as no surprise

I revised my grade for Movemasters after the office followed up and showed genuine interest for what went wrong. Seems likely my negative experience was a result of individuals having an off day. Original review with only minor edits follows: I have moved a lot of times and have nice stuff which I hate to see damaged. This was the worst move experience of my life. Crew arrived on time. I said a few pieces of furniture required special handing due to nature of their construction e.g. special care not to "slide this piece along the floor, since the finished surface extends to the floor and is easily damaged when slid". Literally two or three simple similar instructions which are really what careful movers do anyways. All such instructions were blatantly ignored. Also boxes marked fragile were repeatedly dropped and put near the bottom of the stacks. When I pointed out these things, I was met with outright hostility and threats to stop the move, which I would have done within the first 15 minutes had I not needed to be out of my apartment that day. Crew was unfriendly at best. They made snide comments when they thought I was out of earshot. They had complete disregard for customer service as well as an outright hostile attitude. The business side was very good, i.e. I got a call after contacting them, and the scheduling was done with professionalism.

Everything went as Scheduled.Extremely courteous and accommodating crews.

Rob and Dave came to my apartment in Arvada (third story, no elevator) during the snowstorm we had on 5/1/13. They showed up exactly as they advised per my instructions given on the day I ordered the service. They got out and immediately began prepping the truck for our things and asking questions about how I wanted specific items placed--how we wanted it done. I advised that I had three flat-panel televisions that needed to be moved and they explained they'd wrap them and make sure they were taken care of. They had their own blankets, they had a great moving truck, they had upbeat, positive attitudes...what a difference that makes on what is typically the most dreaded of days--moving day. It really made it one of the easiest moves of my life having these guys here to do what they do and let me do what I do. I was able to concentrate on starting/tx'ing utilities and getting internet/cable going, etc.--that is so important when picking up everything you own and taking it somewhere else. At the end of what amounted to a four hour cross-town move in a snowstorm, David wrote me an invoice, I paid, signed and started putting things away inside our warm new rental in the Highlands. +1 guys, thanks. Will call this company again when I move.

Movemasters moved us from a 5-bedroom house to another in Golden, CO. Their pricing, while not the cheapest, fell right in middle of other estimates we received. We decided to go with Movemasters because they do not nickle and dime for everything - including tape, wrapping materials, etc. Everything is included. We have been burned in past by companies that charge for every single thing. The customer service was great. Very responsive through email. Was even to switch day of move last minute due to lack of desire to move in snow. We had 3 movers show up with two trucks and they worked quickly. Nothing was damaged.

The move was handled on time and very efficiently. They took care to avoid nicking any walls and door frames. They put all items in mattress bags, and handled all items including the athletic equipment in a careful manner. The two movers were friendly, presentable, and efficient. The office staff called the day before the move to verify date, time, and location. The movers showed up on time.

The crew of two men were 30 minutes late arriving, no phone call was received to let me know they would be late. They did a good job loading the pod, taking care to secure items against the walls and in the zones within the pod. The last items towards the door were a bit haphazard & I had to secure a few loose items, but generally the pod was loaded OK. The crew seemed to run out of steam towards the end of the job, when furniture items had to be moved to different locations in the house. Furniture was placed in the general vicinity, but not right where I requested. Some boxes were left that I had to move later. I was charged for 5.5 hours but the crew did not not work this entire time, taking a lunch break for about 45". I was charged for travel from the Lipan St location which they did inform me would be the case at the time of scheduling. Overall, they did a good job with the move, but I would probably look for a different company in the future.

Movemasters did a great job. The brought a truck that was a little small for the move but were able to efficiently protect, load and move everything. The movers themselves knew the tricks of the trade to move items safely and professionally. Will definitely use them again.

They came for an on-site estimate and we scheduled the move. Dan and Tim were professional, courteous, easy to contact by phone and quick to respond by email. I had several questions before moving day, which turned out to be freezing and snowy. The team laid blankets on the floor. The 4 guys worked quickly and were very polite and friendly. In hindsight, I should've asked them to shrink wrap the base of most furniture items as an extra precaution. There were minor damages to the base of one kid's bed and one kid's dresser, but they sent someone out afterward to repair them and he really did a terrific job. They were very accommodating overall, and took good care of our belongings. At the new house, they situated the furniture where we wanted it and did a good job of placing boxes in the appropriate rooms. This was our best move yet!

The movers were nice, cleans and careful. Thanks for a job well done!

They were awesome! Nothing was scratched! They didn’t scratch any walls or furniture. They were very good and very affordable.

These guys were great. Came and did an estimate, which took about 15 minutes. Quoted me 2 guys for 8 hours, which I thought was a little low because I have a lot of stuff. The 2 movers came right on time, got to work right away, moved quickly and came in just 15 minutes over the estimate. They did a great job of shrink wrapping what needed it, or blankets where appropriate. Nothing broken or lost. I was very happy with the job they did.
