Our experience with these people was very good, as it had been with the earlier, exterior job. I would recommend that anyone having painting done get an estimate from them.
Description of Work: I do not know how the price compared, because we did not get other estimates, having had a good experience earlier with this company doing the exterior painting. On that job, their price was below average. In this case, they painted the living room, dining room, and a small hallway in our standard 1920s craftsman bungalow. Two men worked for four days, painting a huge amount of detailed trim a different color from the walls and ceilings, including four large double-hung windows along with two small casement windows, and an installed buffet with display doors, cabinets, and drawers. The double-hung windows were painted so as not to interfere with the operation of either the top or bottom section. None of the brass hardware on windows, buffet, or doors, including latches and hinges, some quite small, were painted over. For trim, each wall had floor quarter-rounds, trim along the ceiling, and picture board running the entire length. These men worked quietly, not interfering in any way with the rhythm of the household, exiting the premises for lunch, breaks, and bathroom use. The very few spatters were cleaned up rapidly, and carefully. The painters noticed that the door of a small linen closet in the hallway did not close properly, discovered that the cause was a disturbed piece on the closet floor, which he removed and replaced correctly without charging extra. Glenn, the company's owner, was very pleasant and easy to work with. He was obviously fond of his employees, who were obviously happy, skilled, and diligent.
