+ -1 moreGreat! We had planned to have new flooring put in place of carpet, but he uncovered original 1904 flooring that was gorgeous. He replaced the damaged pieces with truly matching sections. His flexibility and hard work literally transformed our old house into an historic house. It looks amazing, and the work was quick, efficient, and well-done.
Description of Work: Removed carpet to subfloor. Then consulted with us on next steps (we had planned to add new, inexpensive wood flooring). However, under carpet he discovered original 1904 flooring that was gorgeous. With barely a blink (and lots of hours taking out nail-heads) he switched plans from new installation to refinishing our original historic floors. He definitely made less money with the refinishing, but he has incredibly happy customers. Great advice, practicality, and attention to detail.

+ -1 moreThe process took 4 days in which we stayed elsewhere for the staining and finishing portion. It was about as painless a process as it could have been. He was very curtious and respectful of any questions that I had as well as came back late one day to put a coat down to save us a day of being out of the house. Floors turned out amazing! We will definately call Mile High back when we are ready to do the kitchen.
Description of Work: Refinished and stained our oak hardwood floors.
