The initial interaction was great. Very friendly. His work was shotty. There were blonde streaks where he missed with finish, runs in stain, overspray, and build up. The clear coat was sub-par, bubbly and very rough to the touch. They absolutely RUINED the kitchen. They have yet to make it right.
Description of Work: After building a full kitchen, we wanted a professional finisher. We wanted him to stain and clear coat the costume cabinets.

Did a small bathroom remodel and some tilework in the hallway. Workmanship was horrible. Tile cuts horrible. Tiles laid uneven. Terrible cleanup post job. I could go on and on. I am in the construction industry and am embarrassed I paid them. They poured grout down my sewer line which I had to clean out twice and would not reimburse me. Once job was complete and paid for, they have been unresponsive and will not back up their warranty for workmanship. My fault for not doing enough due diligence on this company. Worst experience I have had in a very long time. Have never written a review of any sorts but I really don't want anyone else to have to experience what I did. Stay far, far, away from Milagro Construction.

To date, it is not finished and Greg and Cynthia will not contact me. I have asked them to finish the work or refund my money and they will do neither. They cabinet doors they fabricated and painted have never matched each other and the paint is contaminated. It is now cracking and chipping. The rest of the remodel is very sloppy and I had to finish much of it myself. When installing one of the sun tubes in my ceiling, they cut a rafter and did not support it properly thus compromising my roof. The person they had doing the electrical work knew NOTHING and I had to stop him from continuing to work in my attic. Unfortunately he had already cut power to things that should not have been touched. I will now have to get a licensed electrician to fix this mess. They have made a mess of my kitchen and I will have to get someone else to redo most everything. Their work is horrible. I have tried for months to get them to fix things and all I have gotten is empty promises. The crew damaged my floor and refrigerator and lost parts to my light fixture. Greg assured me everything would be taken care of and nothing has. Unfortunately for me, Greg and Cynthia are quite the scam artists. They are very friendly to your face and gain your trust at the beginning. The work starts out fine and as it goes Greg asks for payment which seems fine at the time. By the time trouble turns up, you have paid so much money it's too late. My advice.....Stay AWAY from MILAGRO!!!!
Description of Work: I hired Milagro Contracting Svcs/Milagro Wood Studio to refinish 2 pieces of furniture with a high gloss finish, renovate kitchen cabinets, install sun tubes and do some electrical work.

This was the worst experience of my life. They are not licensed they work under someone else's license who has no involvement. While this is not illegal it is frowned upon in the industry and should be a red flag showing they are not qualified. Everything they did was a hack job just the worst quality you have ever seen. Tile work had large lipage, lost $2000 in doors everyone was ruined and I was told to just buy new ones because the price to strip and refinish would be just as expensive, drywall was not securely fastened to framing, shower floor did not drain had to call some else to fix because Greg said he had no money, got paint and plaster over everything, the staining of wood was the worst unevenly spread you can see streaks everywhere, chipped all the trim work, tried patching trim with wax stick, glazed my tub three times and I ended up having to hire someone else to do it, installed front door with hinges half in the wall had to pay someone else to finish that. The worse part is after four months of waiting I had to hire a different crew because he flaked on me and did nt finish. They are awful to deal with Greg never answered my call, Cindy was very nasty to me when I tried to reach out to her. She told me she had personal problems and I was lucky she was even talking to me. Greg inflated all the sq foot and linear foot so I overpaid on all the tile and trim work probably an extra $5000 in labor and another $2000 in materials they never were used. these guys lost me over $15000 with what I overpaid and what I had to pay other people to finish and fix. Greg had the nerve to ask me for a loan because he said he could not pay his employees. Greg order the wrong everything and cost me extra order the wrong doors and was unable to return them because they were special order. The real wood window I got he did not order them with the extended jam so I had to pay someone else to extend them for me. Trust me do not use these people or you will be sorry I have never written a review but I felt I did nt want this to happen to someone else its an awful feeling and expensive these people should not be in business. If you want pictures email me and I will send them to you dbreitco@gmail.com.

They took the cabinets and disappeared for 8 weeks. I left over 30 messages and they never called me back once. Two months later he called me back and claimed that his wife was sick. They never finished the job. Poor.

Excellent job. Greg Delgado is very professional and a nice guy. He would arrive ontime every day. His crew of Dan and Dave were great. There was a problem with the glass blocks which was corrected by Greg asap. No charge for their mistake. Greg picked up the tile which was great. I am very impressed. I own another property and I plan on using Milagro Contracting for additional projects. Iti is refreshing to come across a company like Milagro. I highly recommend them!
Description of Work: Remodel of small bath. Including tile work and settting of glass blocks. In addition tile was laid in a small entry way.

Received flyer. Called. Nice interaction. First two projects went fine: written estimates given, items picked up, items returned refinished. Problem occurred when next round of projects was presented. Got harder and harder - and then impossible - to get Greg or Cynthia to return calls. Very bizarre. Finally gave up. Mutual acquaintance notified me later that Greg took ill for some time. However that didn't explain the umpteen unreturned phone calls up until that point. I see from other reviews that my experience was not unique. Very disappointing.

Greg seems like a nice guy, but he apparently pays no attention to anything that a customer is asking for. I walked him through my rooms and told him exactly what I wanted for the paint job. It is a very simple job, all the same color of white, but I wanted some of it semi-gloss (kitchen, trim, doors, shelves), some of it flat (all the walls). Well they didn't listen to any of it and painted some of the walls in a different finish than others, the shelves in flat paint, etc. It was also a very sloppy job and even if it were the correct finishes it was not well done at all. He was also supposed to sand/refinish my French doors, which they did a terrible job on. They did come back after we complained, but even the second time around they didn't listen and didn't get it right. I would never use them again on anything.

Milagro began work May 23, 2006. They finished 10:00 pm Sunday, May 28th, two days after their guaranteed completion date. Project took longer due to a stubborn primer. We left early next morning on vacation, so did not examine the work thoroughly. Upon return were dismayed to see large amounts of stain spatter on dining room (DR) walls and trim outside DR. In DR stain had been unevenly applied and was almost black in places, far darker than agreed-upon color. Called to schedule follow-up work to have problems corrected. Took four weeks for them to return, including two missed appointments with no explanation or call. Still trying to get them back to fix problems they caused during last visit. Stain now rubs off in fixed areas. They've missed three more appointments with no call to cancel or reschedule. Thoroughly disgusted with sloppy work and unprofessional conduct regarding missed appointments and not returning calls. Worst contractor we have ever hired in over 20 yrs.
Description of Work: Milagro Wood Finish stripped all the painted woodwork in the dining room, sanded the wood, and refinished the wood with a stain to match our "desired look". Our house dates to 1919 and the wood is typical fir that is often stripped and refinished in similar houses in this old Denver neighborhood. There were two layers of paint and one layer of primer paint. The wood had probably always been painted and was probably considered to be paint grade wood. There was 60' of wall with wainscot, windows, three door jams for a total of 400 square feet of wood to be refinished.
