The experience was mediocre. The communication was poor.

Not well. 6 weeks for at most a 2 week job. Mike and his crew did a great job on the new roof. It was done quickly and looks great. There was a small issue which caused the roof not to pass inspection but this was repaired immediately and the roof passed the inspection. I would not, however hire Mike's roofing again due to problems with gutters, screens and painting done along with the roofing contract. The Screens took more than two months to rescreen. Screening was loose on all screens. A friend and I removed the screening out of the windows and redid them. We used the material in the windows. The patio door was to be replaced and I asked Mike serveral times if it was ordered. He was "doing" it. I finally ordered the new one myself. He did have the old one rescreened but the screening was loose and there was a cut along the side in the screening. I have kept this one as a back up should I need one. Gutters took days to complete and leaked (they continue to do so) in several places. Most were repaired. Corners are out of square and work is poor. The down spouts were cut and left with jagged edges and continue to constantly fly away each time it is windy (the original gutters did not do this even once in 6 years!). I have removed a couple of them to replace with drain hosing. Mike and his crew continuously showed up late for the job, a couple of times not at all. Mike and his crew were often not prepared for the job. Mike left several times to buy supplies needed to my job (and others!) after arriving. His crew would stop working until he returned. Painting of the porch and back of the house was satisfactory. The color purchased was unfortuantely lighter than the 6 year old fadded paint on the house. Paint was spilt and splattered on the new roofing in several areas.Was told it would not hurt the integratity of the roofing materials. It does look bad. Paint on brick trim and a 3' section was missed in the back near the roof line. Due to painting issues I had to have my home repainted and chose to use another company. I would say if you want to have your roof repaired or replaced (only) Mike's Roofing will do a great job for you. Make sure you deal directly with Mike and not others on his staff or office and that you get a timeline for the completion of work in writing. I don't think you will be disappointed with the quality of his roof work.

I used Angie’s List to check his credentials. He pushed through it and I know he was not messing around. He fought the elements, the cold and snow and he proved himself pretty good. I seen that he had both good and bad feedback and so I wanted to see myself. He did an exceptional job on the roof and the gutters. He did the siding too. I am not too familiar with the price. He managed to negotiate with my insurance company and both of them thought it was pretty fair. He finished this with professionalism. I was lucky enough to be able to see both sides. He did have one negative comment and five positive comments mentioned and he seemed to come through with the work on my home. I would and I am recommending him to my friends. They did an exceptional job!

This job should have been completed at most in seven days but took nearly a month. Although the team was very nice they did not show up on site on time. Mike continued to leave the work site to either get materials for the job or for other jobs leaving his employees to sit and wait for his return. Paint was spilt on my roof and was not fixed since it did not compromise the roofs integrity. Gutters are not square, leaked (once pointed out they repaired the leaks). The down spouts continuously blow off in the wind due to poor workmanship. Painters, while painting in the wind over sprayed onto my neighbors home. Also, one of the painters, out of the goodness of his heart, spot painted my home with the original paint and the paint they had purchased leaving both sides of my home poka dotted! It was 3 different shades of green! Although Mike's painter offered to repaint my home I choose to hire another company to do so because of the work ethic and quality of work done by this company. One thing, they did do a great job on the roof it's self. I could not recommend this company for anything beyond roofing.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They didn't hike up the price. I thought it was a good price and the quality was there. They were coming in and out, that's what I really liked. They were pretty reliable based on their charges and experience.

I contacted him to get an estimate about replacing the roof on my house. He and his wife Mary stopped out shortly after. They were very professional and courteous. Gave me a bid immediately. When we started work everything went as planned. The roof turned out amazing, for the price stated and on time. During the replacement process they had to take off internet dish and Mike went out of his way to bring me a smartphone I could use if I needed the internet while they had the dish disconnected. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again.

From start to finish Mike's Roofing did what they said they would do and did it in a very professional manner. Give them a call and let them have a chance to bid on your project. The price will be competitive and when they are done the finished product will prove you made the right decision to hire Mike and his crew.

After a devastating storm, I received a monetary settlement from my insurer. Mike assured me that he could do all of the work I wanted done for the amount that the insurer provided and ultimately followed through on that promise with the utmost quality and professionalism. When the roof was removed, it was apparent that new decking was required. Since this was not part of the original settlement and would be an out-of-pocket expense for me, Mike agreed to do the job for a very reasonable cost. When all of the siding was removed, I decided that it would be prudent to add an extra layer of rigid insulation to the walls to bring them up to R-13. Mike and his crew were very cooperative about supervising as the rigid insulation was installed ahead of the siding. All of the work was done in a very timely manner, they took great care in their craftsmanship, they were all a pleasure to work with, and they did a great job of cleaning up. My house looks fantastic and is in much better shape now than it was before the storm.
