In each of the four instances, Jeff?s work was very precise and professional. I LOVE using Jeff for handyman and remodeling work because I am a perfectionist who wants work to be done correctly the first time, and Jeff always over-delivers. Jeff takes his time to insure as near perfection as is possible in every job he?s done for my wife and me. This is what I want: someone who takes the time to do a job right and not rush so that he or she can get to his or her next job. When he had to replace some of our sheetrock, the texture and new paint exactly matched our existing texture and paint. After he installed our new sink, I?m sure nobody would be able to tell that some of the tile and grout around the sink was replaced. Thursday and Friday of this week, Jeff installed our new microwave and its trim kit and our new wall-oven in the space left behind after I removed the original 18-year old built-in combination microwave/oven unit. I assisted Jeff at times as lifting the oven by himself would be dangerous. I also talked with Jeff and watched him during most of the time he spent on the cabinet opening's retrofit and appliances? installation. Jeff was extremely exacting on determining his measurements to get the two units to look like they were installed by someone who did this every day in high-end model homes. My wife and I use and recommend Jeff for small handyman jobs to major remodels without hesitation because we know he will leave every customer extremely satisfied with his work product. If you want someone to do your job fast, don?t call Jeff. But if you want your job done right, and done right the first time, then by all means Jeff should be your only choice.
Description of Work: We have used Jeff Burrows for multiple handyman/repair/remodel jobs in our Evergreen home. 1) Our first experience with Jeff was about 4 years ago, when Jeff removed an outdated drop-down (framed and sheet-rocked) fluorescent lighting system in our kitchen and replaced it with new sheetrock, paint and canned lighting. For this job, Jeff also installed additional can lights in additional parts of the kitchen ceiling and some hallways. 2) Jeff's second work on our house involved installing a very quiet bathroom fan I purchase in our bathroom ceiling, wiring it to a time and exhausting it to a hallway in our home with ductwork he ran through an adjacent attic space. It may seem more than odd to run a bathroom exhaust to a hallway and not outdoors, but this was my request because this ceiling-mounted exhaust fan is by the tub and shower and not in the toilet room; and I wanted the humid air from the shower and bath tub use to be returned into the house in all 4 seasons. Jeff also added new HVAC airflow supplies and returns in some walls and ceilings to help balance our A/C and heating system’s airflow in a few rooms of the house. 3) Jeff's third job was to replace our original 18-year old, standard sink and faucet with a new Kohler "Executive Chef" sink, new faucet, Insinkerator instant hot-water heater dispenser and soap dispenser. Because the old sink was a drop-in sink (the perimeter was above the counter) and the new sink was a flush mount (the perimeter is flush with the tiled counter-top), Jeff had to re-do and match some of the tile surrounding the sink as well as the grout color. He also had to install the Insinkerator hot-water dispenser in the cabinet as well as re-plumb for the new sink and faucet. 4) Jeff's most recent job was to install a new Maytag microwave oven and an in-wall Maytag oven in our kitchen cabinet space previously occupied by an all-in-one microwave and oven unit. This required precisely cutting, matching and horizontally mounting a piece of maple wood between the new microwave oven's trim kit and the new oven. Also, a new shelf to hold the microwave oven and modifications to the cabinet opening to get both the microwave and its trim kit as the full-size oven aligned square (horizontally and vertically) and perfectly aligned with each other.
