Greg was absolutely great----arrived early, incredibly professional, and found several things I suspect a lot of other competitors would have missed which were very much appreciated. The inspection went fast, but nothing was missed. This guy obviously knows his stuff, and we've already recommended him to a neighbor considering selling and buying a new house too. Greg was there on time. He was very thorough. He explained the process step by step and brought necessary items to my attention. He asked if i had any questions and answered them all completely to my satisfaction. He made sure to put everything back as he had found it. This was my second home inspected by MC2 and I requested Greg.

From the time I called to schedule an appointment to receiving their reports was about a 36 hour turnaround. Fantastic work, communication, and outstanding professionalism.

Mike was great. Precisely responsive in the sense he met every timeline and deadline as promised. He brought in sewer guy and got radon test done by starting collection right away. Explained everything. Later, there was a question regarding a repair that was completed as result of inspection. He looked at picture and provided comment. Very pleased

Mike was great. He showed up early and got to work on the exterior of the home. He is thorough and does a great job explaining the problems he finds. A lot of people told me I was wasting money on buying a home inspection for a new house but Mike's findings really proved them wrong. We identified several big $ issues that I would not have found on my own. Glad the builder now has to fix these. Very happy I hired Mike.

Very through job done, and results were well explained. Home was not purchased due to the inspection results. We were so pleased with the job done....that we hired him to inspect the next home...which was purchased with confidence!

Mike was on time, patient, and very pleasant. He explained everything and was very efficient in going about looking at details. The property has 3 structures -- a 2-storey main house, a garage and a carriage house used as an apartment. The appointment was set for 8 a.m. and he arrived early enough to set out his tools and ladder by 8 a.m. He was done before noon and we got the report and photographs with notations by 6 pm the same day! His price was very competitive.

We were so impressed with this company from the first phone call to the final handshake. They were available to inspect when we needed them. They were competitively priced. Very thorough. Very patient and kind. We were very nervous buying my first home and Greg helped explain homeownership responsibilities and where important things were located in the house. He answered all of my questions. He took the time to make us feel like we were the only clients in the world! We are very happy with our choice to hire MC2.

Mike was on-time and very thorough. He captured problems with our house that I have never noticed in the almost year we have lived here. His inspection report was also very thorough to include photographs that I can submit to the homebuilder for repair.

Fantastic home inspection. Mike was 10 min early, spent several hours inspecting my home. He only schedules one per day to allow enough time to provide a thorough inspection and report. For any issue found he took the time to explain why its an issue, how to tell its an issue, what is typical and atypical, and how its usually repaired. My wife and I own 3 homes and we plan on having Mike inspect the other 2.

I first researched MC2 Home Inspections after being referred by a realtor. I visited their website and noted their qualifications, guarantees and warranties, frequently asked questions, common home inspection defects, and home inspection pricing. I was impressed by the site, their reviews online, and their promise to respond to all inquiries within two business hours. They were added to my short list of companies to contact to perform our home inspection and radon test. While MC2 Home Inspections was not the least expensive company I contacted, I was sold by how easily we discussed pricing and scheduling. I needed the home inspection to take place fairly quickly and it was offered within a week of initial contact. I was impressed by the way MC2 went above and beyond to work with the realtor to find a good time considering I was across the country, tenants were currently occupying the house, and we were racing to have the inspection complete before the appraisal. As soon as the date of the inspection was agreed upon, I received an invoice by email which detailed the dates of services that were to be performed, the price for each service, and provided an easy way for me to pay online. While there was an extra charge to use credit or debit cards to pay online, I easily paid by bank account without incurring additional charges. We also discussed who would be present for the inspection. I was not able to make it out to Colorado for the inspection, so MC2 agreed to perform the inspection with the realtor. Due to the current housing market in Colorado, my husband and I were under contract on a house that we had not yet walked through or seen in person, so we were relying heavily on the inspection to determine our next steps. The day of the inspection, I received a detailed report and the entire photo file from the inspection by email. The report clearly stated what was in and outside the scope of inspection, gave clear definitions of conditions, and included special notations on the pictures or written details to help me fully understand the report. I really appreciated how each item was marked with appears satisfactory, repair item, maintenance item, needs monitoring, safety issue, or needs further review. For each item that was not satisfactory, there were clear and concise explanations of recommendations for repair, review, or next steps. MC2 had anticipated the questions I would have asked if I was present and made sure to include all of that in the report. Two days after the inspection was complete, I received another email with the results of the radon test complete with next steps. MC2 thanked us for our business when they sent both reports and offered to answer any questions or concerns. My husband and I were very pleased with the services we received for our money. MC2 helped us make an informed decision regarding the purchase of our home. We plan on utilizing their services again very soon.

Mike did a great job and I would definitely use this guy again. Mike arrived on time and very professional at all times. This guy knows his business and is serious about giving you the real story about the house your under contract for. Mike takes lots of pictures and provides all of them to you which was super useful when we wanted to view a portion of the home. Final inspection report was easy to read and understand, but to the point and not wordy which I appreciated. I highly recommend Mike and MC2 Home Inspections LLC team. Excellent job.

He looked at EVERYTHING! He provided an extensive narrative about his findings. He took many, many pictures of all the problems. He was very personable and helpful on any questions we had...even if they didn't pertain to the problems reported. He was punctual and he offered to address any concerns we might have after he was finished at the house. He encouraged us to be at the inspection, which we did, so that he could explain in detail and answer questions...and he did. His prices are also fair. We have not one qualm about HIGHLY recommending him to anyone seeking inspection services!

We had just gone under contract on a house and it was a tight timeline. I called on Tuesday and Dan was able to squeeze us in for a home inspection on Friday afternoon. Dan dropped off the radon test on Wednesday and went back Friday morning (instead of waiting until the afternoon when our inspection was) so that he could get it to the lab as early as possible, and therefore get our results as soon as possible, which was greatly appreciated. When we showed up for the inspection on Friday afternoon, Dan had already arrived and gotten started. He took the time to bring us up to speed on everything he had already inspected and to answer all of our questions. We then "shadowed" him for the remainder of the inspection so that we could hear everything first hand and ask questions. We really appreciated that he was okay with that. Dan was extremely thorough in pointing out even the smallest potential issues of the home, inside and out. To be honest, it was almost a little overwhelming, but we really appreciated knowing everything and having all of the information we needed to make an informed decision about the house. He pointed out several things that he thought might be more major issues, and suggested that it might be best to have a licensed individual (HVAC person, deck person, etc) come out to take a closer look. We were able to get these individuals out to the house in time for our inspection objection deadline, and ended up receiving a credit from the seller for the small issues that needed to be addressed. Dan sent us a very thorough inspection report later the same night. It was put together in a way and the issues were coded in a way that made it really easy for us to talk to our agent about which items we wanted to address with the seller. I would highly recommend this company for your home inspection. Incredibly thorough and professional.

Mike was wonderful. We felt he inspected the home as if he were looking to buy it. He was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. As a first time home buyer, I knew little to nothing about the process or what to look for when buying a new home. Mike never spoke over our heads, answered ALL of our questions and left no stone un-turned. We put our full confidence in Mike (not easy for us to do), and I'm sure glad we did.

The inspection was incredibly thorough and I can't stress enough how impressed both my agent and I were with Mike's work. He was not only incredibly friendly, but he did an excellent job separating out what was important to bring to the sellers attention, what was important for me (prospective buyer) to be aware of in the short/long term, and what stuff is useful for a general awareness of the home. Mike caught two major structural concerns on the deck as well as two water leaks which the seller has agreed to full fix (to the tune of thousands of dollars). The quality of the finished report, availability for questions after the inspection, and the quality of the inspection deserves the highest rating possible. The amount spent on the inspection pales in comparison to the thousands saved on future problems and for getting quality peace of mind about our investment.
