Mavi Unlimited Inc. is a full service real estate company located near the foothills of Denver, Colorado. We specialize in offering a variety of services including real estate buying, sales, investment strategizing, and property management. Whether you are a first time home buyer or a seasoned real estate investor, let Mavi's extensive real estate experience work for you. Mavi works with your investment goals to help you determine the right property to buy. We currently manage over 500 residential investment properties for clients from a variety of backgrounds. I am a senior citizen and disabled vietnam veteran. I contacted Mavi Unlimited over the phone to respond to an ad in Craiglist to rent a parking garage near me. I talked with Becca on the phone and told her I was interested in renting the garage. Becca informed me I would need to come to their office to fill out some paperwork and provide them with a check for the security deposit and first months rent. I immediately drove to their office which is about 30 minutes from my home. Once at their office I was told they could only accept a certified check or money order. I told them with was poor customer service and I should have been told this over the phone as it was a hardship for me to find and make a trip to the bank after I had already driven to their office. I asked them if they would accept my personal check and was told no, it was against their policy. I was told "everyone makes mistakes" and asked to leave the office. I would not do business with this organization because based on my experience they are not professional, error prone and make no attempt to provide good customer service. They also have a number of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. .

Our company policy is to only accept certified funds for initial transactions, but we do allow tenants we have relationships with to pay with personal checks. Our office is also situated close to numerous banks as well as a local King Sooper's that will sell cashier's checks and money orders to customers. In this particular case, Becca apologized for the inconvenience, and pointed the potential tenant to these numerous locations, and informed him that his trip to one of them would only take a few minutes. The member then demanded that we either take his personal check, or purchase a money order/cashier's check for him, which we refused to do. He then began treating Becca and other employees in a disrespectful manner, so we informed him that we did not wish to enter into a 12 month long relationship with someone who acted so disrespectfully to our employees, and asked him to leave, which he did. Mavi Unlimited greatly respects those who serve our country in uniform, and we work with a variety of veterans, but we do ask for respect to be given to us as well, and generally do not wish to do business with potential tenants who threaten us, or use aggressive language.
