Description of Work: Maid in the Shade did an outstanding job of cleaning the gutters and their cleanup of the sidewalks, porches and driveway was above the normal. The overall job was performed in a very efficient manner. We have used this company for years and have always been very satisfied.

Description of Work: Very reliable and professional. I have been using them for over 10 years and will continue to do so for cleaning gutters on a two story house. The are very good about adjusting their schedule to make sure they come when your leaves are all down, not just when it's convenient for them. They clean up thoroughly after themselves.

Description of Work: Well, unfortunately, Mitch has lost my business forever. I have been using Maid in the Shade to service my swamp cooler every season for a few years now. I was not thrilled when they initially serviced my unit and they used a coating on the bottom of the unit for rust and decay. They painted over the water overflow tubes on the bottom. I was no longer able to drain unit in the fall. I let this go and still worked with Mitch mainly because he was great at following up every year and proactively calling me to set up a time to service unit. I did not feel like searching out a new company. This is an older unit & I did not want to spend much money on it at this point. In the past, there were usually issues with it leaking after a service. They always came out & fixed whatever was leaking. It was usually the floating devices that needed to be tweaked. This year was the same service and within a day after they serviced my swamp cooler it was leaking so I called Mitch and he said he would have someone come out and look at it. They said there were holes in the water line and it needed to be replaced. The estimate was approx. $100. I told them I would not pay $100 to replace. I told them I would figure something out. I received another bill for $35. I called Mitch & told him I did not think I should be billed for additional service. The unit should have been serviced at the initial service call and was leaking right away which they should have caught. He was extremely rude on the phone. I was so offended at his response and attitude. I paid him for the service provided even thought my swamp cooler is still leaking. I will not work with people when they are rude and unwilling to do "the right thing". He is now threatening to come after me for the $35. Really??? Good luck Mitch. If this is how you treat your customers, this will not be the last complaint you receive.

Description of Work: Company cleaned out gutters on three story house. Did a very good job and raked area around house to clean up leaves. They responded quickly to phone calls. Nice people to work with. Schedule regular apointments, so you do not have to call every season.
