I'm on the national and Colorado do-not-call lists. This business illegally called my prepaid cell phone in violation of state and federal statutes. I might need the products and services that they offer, but I would NEVER purchase anything from them. Proprietors of businesses like this should be jailed for their telemarketing scams. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

From beginning to end, this was the most trouble free and professionally managed sales and installation I've ever been engaged in with any home contractor. Don't make the mistake of going with anybody else. I had a bad experience with my initial window contractor, and spent four months trying to find someone who could provide a comprehensive, turnkey approach to my job. Lifetime Windows completed Phase 2 of a 27 window replacement in my home. Their work involved the installation of 15 windows. This included finish carpentry work of building out jamb extensions and casing for each window, along with the staining. The entire job involved five days of work total, over a two week period. The job would have been done more quickly, except I requested a delay in the project while I checked on a problem that proved not to be a problem at all. Their timeline for completion can be compared to a 4 MONTH timeline from a first contractor, who installed 12 windows and one sliding glass door. I wish I would have vetted better on the first contractor, and have since joined Angie's List to do exactly that. Lifetime Windows has excellent reviews across all review sites, to include Yelp and BBB. Dee was our salesperson, and he was extremely capable and a professional. He had the ability to provide an immediate quote on the first sales call. With a little negotiations, I was able to establish a fair price that worked for both us and their company. Tim and Justin were my installers, and besides being extremely talented on all phases of the job, they were professionals and joy to work with. Lifetime Windows did sub-contract out the staining of the new woodwork, but they came in within a few days of the finish carpentry work, and their work was done in a day. As I said before, don't make a mistake of going with anybody else, even if you have to pay a little more. But on price, you will find their pricing competitive.

Lifetime windows and siding is a poorly run company in that they are so overpriced they can't handle being at the property along with their competitor- they actually will leave if you have a competitor show up at the same time- what does that tell you about them? well, it tell me they are nowhere near professional and can't handle competition- it means to me that they must be too pricey for any work. their loss.
Description of Work: estimate on a siding job- they couldn't even keep the commitment of an appointment. Their competition sure did- I would not recommend lifetime windows and siding.

Great Denver-based company making in roads into the Colorado Springs area. Everyone (from the initial sales reps (Amber & Jr), to the sales manager (Marco), to the scheduler, measure tech, and installer - even the marketing specialist (Jessica) who came and took "before" pictures) were professional and personable. Checked my entire house and said only 3 windows needed replacing--no strong arming. Told me price up front and that's what it cost -- no "up-sale" attempts at the last moment. On time for all the appointments and Les (installer) was precise, thorough, and left the room spotless. Highly recommended.

Hi [removed member name], Thanks you for the kind words and your honest assessment of the price. Believe me, the cost of siding these days is something we are very tuned into. We've always tried to position ourselves as a cost competitive company without sacrificing our lifetime warranties, and as the economy and housing market has improved in recent years, we've had to come to terms with the fact that product, and especially labor is just more expensive. The really premium installers have been asking more for their skills and after hundreds of siding jobs and a dozen different installation crews over the years, we have decided that it's worth paying the premium for the true craftsmen even if it means losing a few jobs due to price. Even the smaller jobs can turn into never ending nightmares for us and the homeowner if the installer is anything less than A+., I am very pleased that you decided to use us, and it is my hope that in 10 years, the only thing on your mind is how good the siding looks after all that time. And if there are ever any issues with the siding, we will come out to fix it right away at no cost to you what so ever as long as you live in your home. Thanks Again, Jason Lewis Owner

Upon installation windows were inferior to our old windows which were original to home built in 1976. We were promised noise level, cost of heat and efficiency would improve. The sample window we were shown was very well made, however windows installed are loose inside frame. Flies, bugs can get into house with windows open as there are only 1/2 screens and small openings at the bottom of the sashes. Windows I haven't ever opened were filled with dirt where air seems to enter. Windows feel as draft and are cold. .I can here 75% more traffic. Even where they switched out sliding windows to sound proof windows, there was absolutely no change in noise level. My old windows you could only here a car pass as it went by the window . The new windows you can here every car from a block away as it comes down the street and even here the tires on the pavement. Also can here dogs barking in our neighborhood and people talking as they walk past the house, which our old windows we never had any noise of that kind. I called several times to complain. But was sent to Rebecca, and unable to get past her. It took 5 months of complaining about my door not closing and finally hired some one else to re hang my door. I begged Rebecca to send the owner and an installer to open up 2 windows so we could figure our if something happened during the installation of the windows. I did also notice when windows were replaced that windows were smaller than the size of our openings. For coming to our home 3 times for custom windows, they should have fit better. Our heat bills have been about the same and some months were even higher. Our windows were installed on 8-29-12 and the patio french door was installed 12-30-12. In January I was unable to keep my French door closed. Each time anyone closed the door the wind would blow it open. This is our main entrance. I called and spoke with Rebecca. I was told some one would call me to repair it. I informed her that I couldn't even get it to lock and had to use a broom to hold the door closed with a heavy object against it as we'll. no one called me even though I would call her about every 2 weeks up till may 2013. I finally had to hire some one to re adjust the door. To this day the door is not hung right as I have trouble locking . The soundproof.windows that were finally brought out to me for my 2 upstairs bedrooms and switched out didn't help the noise level at all. I reported this to Rebecca at Lifetime. She told me they would figure out the problem. I again asked for the owner and a representative from Alside to come to my home. It has been almost a year from that time with no results.

Dear [removed member name], It is disappointing to learn of your continued struggle in this process of upgrading your home to be more energy efficient. Lifetime Windows and Siding has built a strong reputation based on customers satisfaction and we will make sure you get the same service. After your initial complaint about noise, we where assured by the manufacture Alside, that is a leader in window and siding products in the USA, that you would achieve maximum sound protection with the new replacement glass packages that were installed at Lifetimes expense. If you still have issues regarding this please contact me directly at my office and I will personally make the necessary arrangements to see first hand exactly where the noise is coming from and what needs to be done to provide further insulation.I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you personally at your home to find resolution to these concerns. My goal is to help you become another satisfied Lifetime customer. Kindest Regards, Peter Svedin Owner 303-934-4508

I want to let people know what a great job Lifetime Siding and Windows did on our house. We had hail damage to the siding on the north side of our house and called Lifetime to come to the house to give us a bid. After getting 3 quotes, we decided to go with Lifetime and I am so glad we did. The sales associated, Dee Baumgartner was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in guiding us through this project. Chief installer Freddie and his crew were skilled at installing siding, worked hard and finishing on time. Their work was top notch and they cleaned up the site very well. The price was within reason and really felt we received good value for our money. Also wanted to mention Jason Lewis, one of the owners who followed up with us to make sure we were pleased with the job and willing to make any corrections if needed, but none were needed. They did the job correct the first time and we were very happy with the results. I have recommended this company to my neighbors and would highly recommend Lifetime Siding and Windows in a heartbeat to you!

Salesman, Jason Castro, was professional and not aggressive in his presentation. Educated me on replacement windows, answered all of my questions, and was forthcoming with pros and cons of the many different window features. At time of presentation of product Jason had copies of Lifetime Windows and Siding certificate of liability insurance, and certificate from the Environmental Protection Agency showing they were certified deal with lead based paint renovation. Jason pointed out that I needed tempered glass in the window next to the front door and the bathroom which only one other company mentioned. Jason was great to work with. After contract was signed the office called and set up time to do final measurement of windows. Sent out a private firm to test for lead paint on the existing window frames and freeze boards. Advised me of estimated date of work. All dates were meet. Les did the install. Les and his helper were professional and did a great job. Quality of work was great and the installation of eight windows was done within six hours. Install was first rate, Lead abatement was accomplished, cleanup was great with nothing left behind for me to dispose of.

Overall I am fairly satisfied with the product and the installation. We received 4 decent size double hung triple pane windows that have a u value near .2 (great energy efficiency). I have a few complaints about the overall experience. First, our salesperson was not a typical salesperson and therefore made a few mistakes. He bent over backwards to make a deal with us, which I appreciate, but his first quote he had to retract because it was too low for his partner/boss (unprofessional). Second he was a bit pushy and long-winded rather than getting to the point, which made for an exhausting experience. However, in the end we got a great product for a good price. Lastly, with the installation, they only sent out one guy and he didn't do a walkthrough with us before leaving. Therefore, we had some concerns that the company had to come back out and address. They remedied this but would be nice if they just took a little more time in the first place and made sure we were satisfied before leaving.

WATCH OUT!!!! There is a gap between the window framing and the wood frame of the house. When a window is installed shims are used to insure proper placement of the window. The remainder of the gap or space between the window and farming is usually filled with insulation. The company installers would only put about a half inch of foam around the window leaving large areas without insulation. They then covered the gaps with molding inside and out. The problem is a lack of insulation from the cold. All the gaps should be filled at a cost of one or maybe two more cans of foam at a price of about $10 per can. They refused to fill the gaps. One window that was replaced involved new frame work. The old window was a steel casement single pane picture window while the new window was about three feet shorter. The crew installed the 2x4 framing but then realized they only had half inch plywood instead of the three quarter inch required. When a home is built once the frame work is finished the exterior walls are covered with plywood. My home is old so instead of using plywood the original builders used 1x6 boards which are about three quarter inch thick. Instead of installing three quarter plywood they used half inch then added a few boards of lath to make up the difference in thickness and then covered the mess with steel siding. The problem is when I have new siding installed this spring the plywood and lath will be removed and replaced with the correct thickness of plywood. I will have to pay twice to have this job completed simply because the crew of Lifetime didn't do the work correctly to begin with. The four door installation went ok for two doors. The lead installer came to my home and made measurements for the doors I needed to buy. I bought the sizes he wanted but when the crew came back to do the work the lead installer said two of the doors were the wrong size and needed to be special order doors because of the irregular size. I called the store to order the doors and handed the phone to the lead installer and listened as he ordered the correct size doors. Two weeks later I have the doors and the Lifetime crew shows up. The first special order door goes in without a problem but the second door was about two inches to short and didn't fit the door opening in the kitchen. The lead installer tries to convince me he could make the short door work and when I said no he tries to talk me into putting the short door in a closet door opening. I go back to the store and repurchase an interior door which fits the door opening in the kitchen and the crew installs it. The problem is a special order exterior door costs over $300 while the interior door cost $60. I contacted Lifetime and explained the mistake their lead installer made and that I have a $300 exterior door I can't use. Lifetime, after a few follow up calls took responsibility and is sending me a $300 check in the mail. I'm still waiting.

Unfortunately, we aren't usually aware of issues if our customers don't contact us. That is why we send out after job surveys with links to sites like Angie's list. The idea is that if a customer is unhappy but has not yet contacted us, we can catch it in the survey, and if someone is pleased they will write a review. We also do a follow up phone call to ensure quality control, which is how we found out about these issues in the first place. We immediately contacted [Members Name] to see about coming out to look at his job and address his issues. James, our service tech went out & explained to [members name] why we did things the way we did, but also offered to change things to [members name] specifications. According to James, [members name] exact words were " well, I guess I've been worried over nothing ". Apparently there was a mis communication because the next day this same review was copied and pasted to all of the links in our satisfaction survey ( Yelp, Google, Team Dave Logan etc ) with additional comments stating that James went out, made a bunch of excuses, and refused to fix the problems. Anyone who has come in contact with James will testify that that sounds hard to believe, which is why I called [members name] to get to the bottom of all this. I visited [members name] in person and he reiterated to me the issues once again. I asked him if James offered to fix the issues, and after stating that he did not, I called James on speaker phone, who said the opposite. We all agreed that there had clearly been a mis communication and we immediately scheduled James to come back out once again to pull off each and every piece of window trim and check the insulation to be sure. James did go back out and after removing the trim and checking several windows [members name] discovering that there was in fact adequate insulation and said that no more would be necessary. He was satisfied with the work that was done & with our continued effort to resolve any concerns. I called to confirm, and [members name] said he would correct his reviews. To the best of my knowledge, we are on excellent terms with [members name] and hope that he will eventually follow through with updating his reviews. Please, if you are happy, write a review. If you are unhappy, call our company or me directly. We work hard to maintain excellent customer service when any problem arises and want to make sure everyone is happy, but we need to be aware of the issues. Lifetime was overall very professional with their installation and it went as we had hoped and expected. The new windows look great and function well. The only problem we had was with timing the installation. We had a install windows setup for a Friday around noon but had to reschedule for the next day around the same time. The installers provided plenty of heads up though (another job was taking longer than they anticipated) so we were able to shuffle things to accommodate.

I just got 10 new triple pane windows from Lifetime Windows and Siding and I am ecstatic!! My house had the original windows from 1944, single pane. Already it is cooler in here! Everyone I dealt with at Lifetime was pleasant and nice to talk with. The folks in the office kept me informed every step of the way. Marko was amazing; what he doesn't know about windows would fit in a thimble. Derek measured so well that the windows fit perfectly, allowing the team of JD, Sam, and Tim to install them in less than 3.5 hours. AND they cleaned up after themselves! The windows are absolutely beautiful and so easy to use -- what a treat. The cost was very reasonable, especially considering the high quality. Lifetime is truly a professional organization.

The siding looks good. There were some issues which prevented the installers from earning an "A" 1) They took down my house numbers and not only didn't put them back up, I couldn't find them later. Had to buy new numbers and put them up myself. 2) They left dozens of scraps of vinyl, several screws and nails around the place. 3) They messed up my the cable TV line to my living room, and could only shrug and tell me to call the cable company. They also left a length of TV cable hanging across one wall to the cable box (which had previously been neatly tucked and secured to the sofit and said they couldn't do anything about that either. 4) They had to remove and replace my gutters and afterwards they left an end of the front gutter sagging below plumb, and when we had a hard rain the water came pouring out of the sagging end rather than flowing to the downspout as it should. I have called Lifetime about this and they promised to come and fix that.
Description of Work: Installed two large windows and vinyl siding all around my house.

Marco was very informative. I was impressed with the window. The windows were scheduled to be installed in February. The weather was cold and snowy, could only install at 50 degrees or above didn't get them until April. The installers were very professional, friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. the install only took a few hours and the guys cleaned up like they were never even there. The windows made a big difference in the front of the house that faces west.. It really cut down on the summer heat that enters. We had an issue with the screens not fitting snug. The installer ordered the screens several times, until we were completely satisfied. we will definitely have them do the rest of the house this fall

My house is bricked and blocked. So, this was not an easy task. Everyone that I dealt with was very professional. This includes sales, the support I got on the phone, and the installation itself. I do handyman work myself, and I am always particular with how the work is completed. All my questions were answered, and the follow up after the job was completed with questions I had about maintaining them were just great. I had other window companies come out. These guys saved me tons of money and the quality of the products they used were just as good as the other companies. I would recommend this company as a whole to anyone whom is looking to replace their windows.
Description of Work: They replaced my original 1957 aluminum windows with double paned vinyl windows.

This company was quite professional and price was right particularly after the home show. We wanted better insulation for our basement and was able to get the whole house of windows replaces with triple pane windows at a great price. They were always on time and responsive to all of our questions and the project was right on schedule. Would definitely recommend them and work with them in the future.
