The floor looks beautiful and we are very satisfied. By having three coats, we had to leave the house for four days. Mike told us that it takes about 60 days for the three coats of polyurethane to fully cure, and we should not put rugs down during that time. They scheduled their work to accommodate our needs.
Description of Work: We hired Liberty Hardwood Flooring to sand and re-finish the oak floors in our living room, dining room, entrance, and entry closet. They replaced boards in two areas where there were no hardwood boards. They selected the wood so well that the new boards matched and can't be distinguished from the original boards. They filled tack strip holes and holes that the previous owner had drilled in the floor to run wiring. Liberty put three coats of satin polyurethane on the floor. We removed the carpet, padding and tack strips, and taped over air ducts and electrical outlets before Liberty arrived. We also sealed all the doorways leading from the living and dining rooms to reduce dust throughout the house.
