Legacy Direct Contracting

The work was done on March 7, 2013. By October the siding was literally falling off of our house. I contacted Cheryl Huerta and she promised a repair. The promise went on until our last email on April 23, 2014. Then all communications stopped. All emails went unanswered, all phone numbers were disconnected and even the fax number has been disconnected. I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Better Business Bureau and the Colorado Attorney General with little or no help from either agency. These people are crooks. DO NOT LET THEM NEAR YOUR HOUSE! I am a responsible consumer and did my homework before signing the contract. A flaw in the system for sure!

The whole thing was horrible. The installers that she has are not licensed. They're not very good at what they do. The first people she sent out practically tore out my wall and tore up the stucco and shoved the windows in as quick as they could. some of them they hammered in and they are too tight fitting. They didn't caulk it correctly on the inside. They cut into my sheet rock in my ceiling and filled it with caulking agent. I found out they weren't licensed in my state and didn't find out if they had permits. They finally got a license and sent someone else to fix my windows, and he was worse than the others. He didn't want to pull them out or insulate them. He didn't know how to caulk, replace dry wall properly. She did give me a slight discount for the trouble, but the windows in my opinion aren't completed. They didn't fix anything, they just covered it up. The stuff he used to cover it up didn't even stick and it's falling out. Now they don't want anything to do with me now, they won't come back out. I sent her pictures and she agreed that it looked terrible, but won't fix it. You have to watch these guys, if I wouldn't have watched them they would have done a terrible job and just left. I can't believe that there aren't other complaints about them. I don't think the owner of the company has ever seen their work. All she could tell me is that they have been doing it for thirty years. I'm so upset, all that money and she isn't going to make it right or finish the job completely. I've had to wait three and half months for them to fix my windows, no drapes and a shower that didn't work. So all this time she refunded me $750 but I still have to find someone else to fix what she wouldn't do. Their statement is that their customers are 100% satisfied and to exceed expectations and "workmanship that represents the best value in the marketplace". That is not the case. The other thing I didn't like about them, when their salesman came they never showed me the warranty. He said they don't let those things float around. The first time I saw it was when the work was done. When they came to the house they wanted you to make the decision now and sign the paperwork. Don't let them say that this is it and back you into a corner, if they can't wait for your decision then don't go with them.
