King Rooter & Plumbing

King Rooter & Plumbing came out and completed warranty work on our sump pump. Upon completion the sump pump leak was repaired and they cleaned up all the toxic water. I was satisfied that they came out very quickly to take care of our home. Unfortunately we continued to smell an odor and we noticed our Radon numbers were increasing. We had a radon mitigator come out and inspect what was happening and He noticed right away that the sump pump was not properly sealed and was leaking. I reached out twice to King Rooter and asked for the owner to call me back to address the issue but he would not return my call. This was a huge safety issue for my family to not seal the toxic fumes from our household. It seems like they are more interested in their “Good, Better, and Best quotes” than taking care of their customers.

Could not have has a better experience with Jonathan. This was the 6th plumber I called in an emergency and the only one to come through. Went above and beyond, Understood my situation and worked with me. Most knowledgeable of three plumbers who looked at my diy tyoe setup, actually solved the problem!!! Gave me info I can use in the future. Will definitely use King Rooter again soon!!!

King Rooter was fantastic. Our plumber, Charles, came quickly and worked diligently to solve the problem. He explained everything that was going on. And then, on his way out, he even helped us fix a problem with our dishwasher. The whole time he was courteous and professional.

It went great. Dishwasher install was fine. There was a misunderstanding with the replumbing (separate job) but they fixed promptly and without additional charge once they understood what we wanted.

Fine; Chris and David showed up when they said, were courteous, worked quickly and cleaned up.

Cliff replaced the pressure relief valve on my water heater. He was punctual and professional and did nice job.

Don came to my house within a couple hours of calling and gave me an estimate to replace the showerhead. He explained how to clean the one I have. Called at 8 am on a Saturday morning...Cliff was dispatched and arrived before 9. Prompt, efficient, professional and at a reasonable price. Emergency repair completed by 10:30am. Great work

To begin, the tech was 2 hours late. He then replaced the wrong sill ****. The one he replaced was not broken. I was to receive a call from the dispatch when they were 30 minutes out. When no one reached me near the end of the 2 hour window I called in and was told they would be out in the next few hours. When they did get to my house they replaced the wrong sill ****. My stepdaughter did tell them the wrong one to replace but it should have been obvious she did not know. As a so called professional, I would have thought they could tell the one she pointed to was not broken.. All that was needed was to turn on the water and they would have easily seen the sill **** that needed to be replaced. So they replaced the wrong one and charged $385.00 to do so. I would not recommend this company to anyone. When I told the manager about the issue all I got was excuses. They are incredibly unprofessional and in this case, incompetent.

Harold arrived 45 minutes late. Seemed to understand the problem (I had already diagnosed) but needed to call the owner, Jeff, to set price. $725 for about 3 hours of labor seems pretty darn out of line to me. $241 an hour? Nice work if you can get it. Harold utterly destroyed the sheetrock surrounding the valves--will cost at least another $200 to repair and repaint it. Granted, the sheetrock needed to be removed for access, but the job could have been done more carefully so that repairs need not be so extensive. By far the most unprofessional aspect of the job was that Harold did not have parts on hand and needed to drive 45 minutes or so to purchase them from Home Depot (at my expense). Said I had a special kind of problem. Bu*ll*&%%it. I told Jeff the house was built 1945, needs two new shutoff valves---it is hard to get more generic than this. You have a van (with no markings, by the way)--and you can't fill it up with some standard valves and plastic pipe and unions? Are you kidding me? Very unsatisfactory. I will take my business elsewhere in future, or just do it myself.

I've used him for approximately 5 years for several plumbing jobs. This is a great and they are very accommodating!
