J.P. Painting and Restoration

The first conversation with Candace wasn't just a cut and dried set up of the estimate visit. In the initial phone call, we spoke at great length about my goals for this job, including a request for some expediency. We are preparing to move and need to list our home as soon as possible, and so needed to get the exterior rotting trim wood replaced, and a whole house exterior paint job. She was here within 24 hrs of my contact to prepare an estimate, which she completed on-site after a very thorough examination of the home. Initially, the date to start was about 6-7 weeks out, and most companies I spoke with are heavily booked. She provided that if we were flexible, she could keep us at the top of the list for moving ahead sooner if the time became available. That worked out great when she called to say they could move up the date and scheduled a new date only 3 weeks away. The house was power-washed and prepped, then the crew had to take 2-3 day break for spring rain/snow days, but came back and completed the wood replacement and full paint job beautifully. Gio & his crew were great to work with, very professional, polite, and respectful of our property, cleaning up completely when they were done. The estimate was reasonable and about the midpoint of all that we received. I found nothing deceptive in their practices, and received exactly what we asked for on this job. From start to finish this was a 5-star experience, and we would use them again if we weren't moving away! Highly recommend 10/10!!

I had a exterior paint done on my house. Not only did they do the paint, but built and stained a new gate and stained a second gate.. Prior to painting they replaced a small amount of siding that was showing signs of rot. When they do a job it's with restoration and overall quality in mind. I am having them do a deck and will let you know how that turns out but I am expecting good things.

Candace was SO helpful and friendly. They did all of the interior paint, carpet & flooring. They started and finished on time. I was remote and trusted them fully. When complete, my house, to the undiscerning eye, looked gorgeous. After I moved in, I started to notice things. Curtains were on the garage floor in a heap, cigarette butts were numerous outside, there was a terrible carpet seam present, they mistakenly ripped up the flooring in the bathrooms and replaced it with an inferior product that was sloppily installed (replacing anyway so not a huge deal) and they actually covered up the entire bathroom floor vent with linoleum! Just a few of the issues. Most importantly, they did come back several times and fixed everything to my satisfaction. They even wrote me a check to replace the curtains. For those reasons, I give 3 stars. No project is hassle-free, but they fixed it all without issue. Recommendation- be present & keep an eye on the project the entire time.

It was excellent, they did really good job with the painting. They were careful, cleaned up, and showed up on time. Overall we're happy.

The quality of work was very good. I would definitely recommend them. They were excellent. I would certainly use the service again. They were prompt and the job was well done. I got what I wanted. They installed it properly and cleaned up nicely. No mess and everything. They were personable and pleasant to work with.
