Ed texted me before the agreed appointment time to let me know he would still be on time. He arrived promptly and was extremely courteous. He answered all my questions and the work was done efficiently with attention to detail.

Ken arrived on time and introduced himself. We headed to the basement so he could assess the problem. He was able to clear the drain in a short amount of time with an "air blaster". I was fortunate that I didn't have a bigger problem and that Ken was available to take care of it for me!

We have used Jake the Snake every fall for the past few years, and he/they have always been very responsive and reliable. They have explained what they were doing and how it went when they were done.

Excellent service! Scheduling was easy. He was on time. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very respectful of the owners' belongings. He put the camera down the sewer line and explained what he was seeing as we were watching it including approximately how long it had been since the line had been snaked and the condition. Parts of the sewer had been replaced and so the line was made of different types of material. He made note of where each type of material started and stopped and gave us a DVD of the video. I would definitely use him again.

After having another sewer cleaner tell me that it was going to cost $4,000 to dig up the sewer line and repair, Jake the Snake saved the day - and my savings! He arrived promptly, worked hard to assess the situation, cleared the sewer line multiple times, and was a really nice guy! I'll be calling him on a regular basis to clear and clear the sewer line.

Overall, the job went fine. They did a good job and I will use them again. The price looked good and we were happy with it. Regarding responsiveness they were excellent.

Excellent service! Would definitely use Jake the Snake (Ed) again and recommend him! This is the 3rd plumbing company I've hired in a six month period for the same issue (drains backing up), but the first one to actually fix it. And the lowest price of the three. Ed is smart, professional and works hard. Instead of working on the various small drains that were backing up, he is the first one to clean out the main line. He has superior equipment that can clean out to 125'! Also did a two-step process, first using a small tool and then a larger one to ensure drain is clear. He checked his work to verify everything is clear by running the washer, flushing the toilet, pouring water down various drains. He also did not try to nickle and dime me with extra charges as the other companies do. I just had to pay their $125 advertised price. Much appreciated!

I have used Jake the Snake twice now over the course of three years and both times the service was excellent. Jake is very friendly and it was a pleasure to chat with him. He also was very professional and prompt arriving right when he said he would the first time and then arriving an hour early the next time (after calling me to make sure it was OK that he was early.) He solved my problem and recommended actions to prevent the problem from happening again. Great guys!

I have tried several plumbers over the years without being pleased with the service or the price. I selected Jake the Snake via googled (I was not a member of Angie's List then) and was very pleased with the service. The technician explained how it was important to snake the drain twice, first with a small blade and then with a larger one to clean the inside of the drain. I believe other services have not done this. Jake the Snake offers a 10% military discount which earns them a higher score on price.

He did a great job and I would recommend him. The guy was super nice and we talked the whole time. I would absolutely use him again.
