Working with IM Home was a terrible experience with a very poor quality outcome. The job we hired them for was a fireplace remodel, which included demoing the existing fireplace, rebuilding the frame and wall, installing the new gas fireplace and a tiled facade. The renovation work was very poor quality from start to finish. In the end, the new gas insert would not turn on because it was installed incorrectly, including bad wiring, poor venting and missing/misplaced parts. Ian walked away from the project at that time. He never returned to remedy the situation. We had to hire another professional to fix the fireplace. In addition, many other mistakes were made and it sometimes took weeks to get them addressed. The project should have taken only a few weeks total and stretched on for months. When we did report errors, we sometimes waited weeks for someone to even acknowledge the mistake and confirm when/how they would fix it. Ian offered nothing but unprofessional excuses such as "I was in the mountains and lost track of your message." We would not recommend IM Home for any project, big or small.

I would highly recommend IM Home LLC for construction/remodel projects and cleaning service. Ian and his team are highly knowledgeable in all aspects of construction. His crew is respectful, courteous, reliable and very skilled. As the project manager, Ian was involved throughout the project and provided constant communication on the progress and overall process. Ian, Carelis, and the entire team helped with design choices and clearly have a lot of experience in this area. Ian stands by the work he and his crew do and make sure that everything is done the right way. They provided a truly custom service while paying attention to detail and quality. Ian also has a team providing routine, weekly/monthly cleaning/housekeeping services. We also had them help with periodic cleaning during the remodeling process. Reliable, trustworthy, thorough and reasonably priced. Based on our experience, we will use IM Home for all future remodel projects (big and small) and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking design/construction services as well as cleaning/housekeeping service.
