Jacob Bass and Jose did a fantastic job bringing up and leveling off a portion of our driveway that sunk and had become a tripping hazard. They were professional, answered all my questions and even showed me how to seal additional cracks in the driveway, and even provided the sealant at no additional cost. This was much more cost effective rather then replacing the entire driveway. I recommended them to a neighbor who was driving by and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. WAY TO GO COMPLETE BASEMENT SYSTEMS!!!

It works well. We've had additional heavy rains since that time and beforehand, our basement was completely flooded but it has not flooded since, and our sump pump is working well. They are very responsive; they come out and check it once a year. I thought their Radon team was a little sloppy and ill prepared and I thought the results were pretty ugly. They did great on the water thing, which I think is their main work, but on Radon, not so hot. Other firms are less expensive.

AMAZING. Everything from scheduling of the estimate, the estimate, scheduling the work, and the work went perfectly. The sidewalk had settled and was a trip hazard. The patio had settled and pulled away from the house. Both repairs were made with 100% satisfaction. The crew, Jacob and Jose, were prompt and very professional. They paid close attention to detail and kept us informed at every step. They cleaned up everything and made sure we were satisfied before they left.

A two-man crew headed by Jake lifted the slab by means of injection of poly foam. They drilled a number of small holes in the slab, then injected the foam under the slab, and sealed the holes. They lifted the slab almost back to where it had been (they didn't want to risk lifting it too much, and causing glass in the walls to break), but more importantly, they stabilized the slab to prevent further subsidence. The work is guaranteed for five years.

Jacob and Jose arrived on time, looked over the entire project with me, and informed me of the steps they were going to take to get the job done. Their work was professional, quick and complete, even to the clean-up afterwards. They added a small portion to the job without extra cost. At the end, they pointed out that one foundation wall was bowing out, something which wasn't seen at the original site inspection because it was covered by my carpet. I wouldn't have noticed it if they had said nothing. Now I can work this problem before the walls fall down around my ears. Thanks once again for a job well done. Vince

I got two estimates, from Rod Martin's Complete Basement Systems and Van Matre Construction. The Rod Martin salesperson (not an engineer) took just a couple measurements, didn't use a laser, and recommended putting thirty piers around the house, at a high cost. He didn't notice that the west wall was bowed in. I liked that they mailed me a book with lots of pictures that explained foundation repair. Van Matre sent a civil engineer with laser tools. He spent a long time assessing my foundation, found all the problems, and prepared a plan to repair everything at the minimal cost. I went with Van Matre.

Gabriel Anaya and crew were extremely professional and polite. He went the extra mile to do a very good job.

Per the electrician who added the electrical portion of the radon system at the end, it was one of the best jobs he had ever seen. The work was completed in the estimated time. Also, where they had to tear up my yard to dig the large holes for the wall anchors, they put it back together so well that I can't even tell it was ever changed - even the pine needles looked to be in the same places!

However, installing the piping to take the water from the sump through the wall and outside was not well done. They are not plumbers. They did not have the work well thought out and did not have the right equipment to complete the job. They left to go to another job and the company did not follow through for reschedule. Apparently they schedule the work based on a perceived time frame for completion, if the work runs over they move the workers to the next job and try to reschedule for another date. If you use them, watch the plumbing install and stay on top of the company regarding any quality issues.

Felipe and his crew did a fantastic job. They were quick and efficient, explaining each step of the way what they were doing. They closed off the area to keep cement dust out of the house and cleaned up the area when finished. They also did a good job in getting the sump pump to the outside, removing a strip of the cement patio and re-cementing the area. Highly recommend this company.

Terrific. The estimator showed up right on time for our appt. He thoroughly explained the process of mitigating the radon. You can really tell they are experts on the subject. I planned on hiring Rod Martin's, but after speaking with my home builder he referred me their company who was already doing work next door to me. It worked better for my schedule. If this was not the case, I would have no hesitation in hiring Rod Martin's. Truly professional company.

The final result was beyond my expectations. I am thrilled with how it turned out! From beginning to end, this company was a pleasure to work with, and the crew was superb in their labor & quality of work. The final cost was nearly 1/2 of another bid I had received. I didn't think it could be possible to complete the work required with the allotted time frame they had projected. But they did it! Well done! Thank you CBS! I highly recommend.

Agustin, Rocky and Jesus repaired the foundation of my home in Aurora this week. They are ROCK STARS! The quality of their work is extraordinary. They treated my property with the greatest of care. I respect them immensely. I will never stop thanking the Lord for sending them to repair my home.

The bill for the service was a little hard to accept when we found out that our foundation wall was bowing due to the natural settlement of soil around our home. Jose and his crew were very very hard working, digging out the 6 ft deep holes in our yard by hand, installing 5 steel plates and 5 steel beams to fix the foundation as well as installing a water proof drain around the perimeter inside of our basement. The drywall was cut and floor has been removed for all of the repairs but I am very happy and confident in the work they did. They also left the condition of our basement cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend the work Jose Amaya and his crew did.

I did not receive any communication from Complete Basement Systems (CBS) and decided after a month I would call them. I was told that Ryan would return my call in 30 minutes which he did. Ryan apologized for not getting back to me and while there were several reasons for the delay (I was on a list of people to be contacted) he took ownership of both the issue of the patio and the delay in getting back to me. We discussed the patio issue for several minutes and arrived at a conclusion there was nothing CBS could do to physically resolve the issue and it was a matter of how much money would be refunded. Our discussion was open and friendly and I was impressed that Ryan was truly concerned about making me happy. I suggested a 50% refund which Ryan accepted. He said he would get with the necessary people to get the refund out to me ASAP and follow-up when it was on its way within two days. The next day he called back and explained after discussing the situation with others in the organization, they felt a refund of 2/3 of the invoice would be more appropriate rather than half. Ryan explained that they felt bad that I would have to replace the concrete sooner than I wanted to and that was the reason for the additional amount. He said the check would be in our hands in a day or two. We received the check on the second day by mail. I feel the quality of an organization is shown in how they respond when things go wrong. I was impressed by both Ryan and CBS's concern to make things as right as possible and going beyond my expectations to resolve this issue. Too many businesses and their representatives are afraid to take ownership and freely discuss what is needed to make the situation right. These are good people and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Went well. Melvin was prompt, did the work expected, cleaned up well. Identified an preexisting plumbing leak, and when I provided the parts, fixed it for me. Hardest part was entering this review, since the link they gave me was to basementssystemscolorado, and not Rod Martins.

Initially, the company sounded reputable and sounded like they were interested in solving our problem. We told them that there was a flood last year that was taken care of but water was still coming into the basement from the fireplace (where the base of the fireplace met the floor and from the bottom row of bricks). This is a basement fireplace that ran up through the garage floor. So we were going to have a separate concrete company come in and remove the garage floor in order to assist Complete Basement Systems in digging down about 8 feet to look underneath the fireplace and find the source of the issue and fix it (whatever that may be). Mind you, the water was coming in from the outside of the house, and finding it's way to the fireplace. There was also a foundation crack that ran down the length of our house that we were concerned about. They sounded like they were interested in resolving this issue at the time of scheduling the visit and the time of arrival. HOWEVER, what ended up happening was the complete opposite. They told me that since they couldn't get a mini-excavator into the garage, they would have to dig the 8' hole by hand. This would have been (approximately) an 8' deep hole with about a 5' diameter to get someone down there to see what was going on. They told me that this would cost a WHOPPING $17,000 to do. They basically bid themselves out on purpose OR the guy who bid the project basically didn't want to take the time on a Friday to find out how much it was going to actually cost and just bid it so high hoping we would do what he wanted to do which was to put a drain in front of the fireplace. This would NOT have fixed the issue. I asked him, "So what you are saying is, when we go to sell the house, we are basically supposed to tell the buyer - the flood was taken care of and there is still water coming into the house from the fireplace, but no worries, we are catching it as it comes in and taking it out." Does that make sense to anybody? Does the price of $17,000 seem justified? In my honest opinion, no. From there, they wanted to put an interior french drain into our house and tie it into the existing sump pump. Basically this means that, again, they were letting water get into the house down the wall (if any was coming in that way, which I explained it was not) from the foundation crack, but finding it reasonable to catch it after it ran down the wall. There are three problems with this. 1) we are letting water in and not fixing the issue at hand, 2) The weren't actually fixing the foundation crack that was in our wall, but just catching water that ran through it, and 3) they were finding it reasonable that efflorescence would accumulate due to water running down the wall (which they said could me remedied by a vapor barrier that they would put up). Installing the interior french drain, installing a new sump pump, even though we had one that worked, and putting up the vapor barrier was another $10,000. This price seems reasonable for the work, even though the work wouldn't have actually fixed anything. So all in all, this company isn't worth the time. They didn't want to "fix" anything or find the source of the problem. They wanted to provide a very costly fix that would have still allowed water into the basement. They would have let the water coming into the fireplace, but caught it with a drain. You can't sell a house like that. You can't just catch the water coming in, you have to fix the issue and THEN maybe use the drain as a failsafe in case something happens later. THEN he said, "Well we specialize mostly in interior drains, excavation would be a ton of money." Even AFTER they sent me a brochure SPECIFICALLY SHOWING workers digging stuff up outside homes, waterproofing them, and fixing foundation cracks! What the heck is that all about?!? Is that for real or was he just not wanting to work? So WARNING!!!!!! Either the guy that bid my project didn't want to put forth the footwork to figure out what was going on, or this is what the company represents. Either way, bad service. It also seems like, per other reviews, when something like this happens, they fail to accommodate and figure out a solution that will actually work. Just excuse after excuse. So if you are relying on these guys to provide viable information regarding waterproofing and actual SOLUTIONS to the problem, you will ultimately be let down. They will provide you with a solution, assuming you don't know anything, and hope you go along with it. Which, if your knowledge of this stuff is limited, it might seem enticing as they do present themselves as great solution providers. However, get other quotes and recommendations from other companies before hiring anybody to do the work. The pricing is high and can be lowered and the other companies will provide better SOLUTIONS. I forewarned you. The decision is up to you.

The whole process was very professional. The estimate seemed reasonable. The installation team led by Danish did a great job! Given the amount of work I was amazed that the job was estimated and completed in one day. Did a great job of cleaning up and everything looks awesome!
