Good Move USA Corporation

We were given a reasonably good priced quote to move us from Denver to San Angelo, TX on a specific schedule that we needed because of our special needs child. We were told the move would be done in one large moving van. We were told they had an office and storage facility here in San Angelo. None of those things were true. They showed up at 8:00 PM to load things. The manager, using an alias informed me that they actually didn't use a large van and that they would have to charge an additional $2,200 to meet the schedule we were promised. We were hours from having to be out of our home. My wife panicked and we paid the extra charge. The total cost of the move was more than twice the estimate. It took almost a month to get the final load, and we are missing over $5,000 worth of our belongings. When we asked how to file an insurance claim the manager refused to tell me who the insurance company was and instead referred us to an intermediary with no real address or phone.

I signed a contract with Movesafe Relocation for a move cross country to NC. Good Move USA charged me thousands of dollars more than I was initially quoted. They held my stuff in their "storage" unit in CO and NM. I called to check on my things & was told they did not have a date yet because of the hurricane. I called a week later & Amanda yells at me on the phone and tells me that I never gave my address so they were storing my things. I told her she had it from day 1, so then she tells me that I didn't pay my up front half on time. Jamaal, the driver, told me that Good Move would call me the next day to pay. They called a few days later and I immediately paid my due balance. When I refused to pay the storage fee Amanda yelled at me & hung up on me 17 times. I had to pay the full balance before they would open the truck & show me my things. When my stuff did arrive they were pulling things off the truck & asking if it was mine. Never received all of my things.

Absolute thieves. They operate like phone call scammers, charge ridiculous fees. They agree to size estimates, and no matter how well you measure, they WILL double the size and charge overage fees. They will keep you in the dark about all timelines until it is too late to do anything. They agree to terms and then do not honor them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THE FINAL COST WAS 3 TIMES THE ESTIMATE THEY AGREED TO.

Horrible, they quoted one price then day of move changed it drastically. Okay but the day prior they had called me saying they were at my house and my cf was over and there would be a drastic change for billing except they were not at my house, they were calling the wrong customer. Low and behold the next day when they showed up finally the story was the same, "your over on cf" "booked through a broker" etc. Bottom line, my items were broken and missing after delivery 23 days after pickup

Good Move USA currently has our belongings. When they sent movers to pick up our delivery on July 8th, the large 26' truck couldn't make it to our house (there were other ways to get there that we told them about) so they spent 2 days getting a smaller truck. The smaller truck however was a 12' Budget truck, which is a total of 380 cubic feet inside. They knew from our quote that we had 650 cubic feet, which we measured beforehand, so obviously our things wouldn't all fit inside this truck and they had to make a second trip. However when we spoke to Dispatch, they tried to tell us that the truck was actually 15' and 900 cubic feet inside. Budget does not own that size truck. Even their 16' truck is only 650 cubic feet. Afterwords, we sent them video and picture evidence of the 12' truck with time and date stamps, video and audio of their movers on the phone with them on recorded lines saying the second trip would be 150-250 cubic feet. They sent us a confirmation invoice from Budget about a 16' truck (again, still not 900 cubic feet or 15' like they insisted) but the pick-up date for this invoice was the same day that they picked up our belongings. With the kicker being that where they claim they were picking up this "16' truck" was 11 hours away from our house, so it was impossible that that was the actual truck that they used that day and was not the final invoice that should have been the 12' truck. Today (8/29), someone from dispatch finally got back to me. Our delivery is already 3 days past the contracted time so she let us know that we would be paid $30/day until we receive our belongings. But when it came to the cubic footage issue, she said that it was impossible for our "u-haul cube to be 300 cubic feet". I told her that it was a 12' Budget truck that was 380 cubic feet (as Budget has told me) and that I sent evidence. Again she said "it's impossible that it was 300 cubic feet". She told me to file a claim with the claims department.

I hired them to move and store until new house is ready. Gave them an item by item list to do. Paid them their up front money requested. Day of the move they just kept adding cost to my bill left trash in my house. Sent numerous emails, texts, and called to get my bill sent to pay it. Their responded to no emails, phone call said ok but then never sent. The corporate text response was stop di not te t me again. Run away their price is not their price and their service is horrible.

I heard about Mobing Company. This company is an excellent company. They moved me from Colorado to Florida without any problem. The staff was great. The service was excellent and most importantly the price was the best. Thank you very much. I highly recommend with love to everyone just take this company.

Better company ever

This is a criminal enterprise. They will quote you something, then after they have all of your belongings give you a new bill. Our original quote was 9500. They then charged us 24000. They refused to release our belongings to us until we paid. They also completely destroyed the house, and our belongings. Please save yourself the pain and do not use this company.

They quoted one price for the move. When they finally showed up on the date of the move, 3 hours late, as they began loading the truck they informed us that the cost of the move had more than doubled. The company took the inventory by phone and never advised us to have them come in person. We were under duress to get moved and catch our flight the next morning. There are more than 30 complaints on the BBB site about this company doubling the cost of the move. The same scam was used on many people. Now they have our goods and we are stuck with a $3900 bill.

Everything went so smoothly and we, honestly, still canâ t believe it. Movers arrived precisely on time and they made sure that we knew how every detail of the move would go. They also packed all our belongings really carefully and surprisingly fast. I. Would recommend this companyâ s services!

Excellent experience from the first call to the end of relocation. They all did a fantastic job of house relocation. I would highly recommend this company and these individuals for a local or long distance move.

Movers packed everything carefully. After relocation, they put everything back together and checked that everything was in good condition before leaving. I will definitely use them again.
