Gate City Moving

Very smooth and easy.

I don't remember how much they charged for the service. They are a local moving company. They had decent ratings on a couple of websites and they were available. There weren't very many movers available. I had a very short timeline. They were pretty reasonable. They moved our stuff and they did a good job of it. They didn't mess anything up.

The move was flawless.

Gate City Moving helped me move all of my belongings out of storage into my new home. I called and whomever I spoke with was courteous, patient, and knowledgable of how many crew-members I needed to hire. The moving team it self was very punctual and wasted no time in getting to work. They packed up the truck, got going, and moved all my furniture in a reasonable amount of time. They were able to get my larger pieces of furniture fairly quick and didn't let stair cases, doorways, or anything else get in the way. The crew took instructions very well and I will definately use this company when I move out of my place next year.

They were exactly on time & didn't even eat the donuts I had brought (Mom) them...as they began moving items ASAP They were very careful with all items, large & small & didn't bump or damage any walls. They asked where things should go & didn't mind if we asked them to move an item from one room to another As they were being paid hourly, they could've moved slowly, however they were quick & efficient!!

They did an excellent job for us.

Excellent service and very nice people. Responded quickly to request, kept in touch to let us know status (the move came from two different places), handled everything with care. The overall move cost more than we had hoped but the conditions (ie tight doorways and halls) made it more difficult.
