Description of Work: Cleaning Services performed for whole house. Initially agreed at $35/hr but after the service was completed they asked for $65/hour and would not agree to anything they said earlier. Jenny was efficient and worked quickly and also knew english. The other one was very slow, deliberatley at times and did not understand english.

Description of Work: Simply the best cleaning services I've ever used! Their attention to detail is spot on, and their thoroughness is impeccable. From vacuuming every single hair from the dog's bed to folding the laundry in dryer, these ladies do it all and do it fast. A++!

HORRIBLE
Description of Work: We have used First Class Housekeeping & Maid Service since March 2011. The cleaning is at the most, mediocre. Their focus seems to be more on folding the toilet paper and tissues in a decorative way. The towels are folded with a pocket fold and look very nice. A few cut flowers are left at each cleaning and 2 chocolate Hershey Bliss candies. When we interviewed Stacy she had gone into detail about previously working at a hotel and it is very obvious that she has carried her experience from the hotel to the home. Cute touches but I would much rather the focus be put on the cleaning, not the toilet paper. During the interview I stressed to Stacy the importance of informing us if the housekeepers broke or damaged anything. I told her that we realize that accidents do happen and all we wanted was to be made aware of anything that did get broken or damaged. I made it very clear that we did not want to come home and find something broken - all that was necessary was a note explaining what had happened - we weren't thinking of replacements or money - we just expected a note, something called courtesy. The very first time First Class Housekeeping cleaned for us they not only broke a slat in our wooden blinds, but totally removed it - all traces of it - all that was left was a big empty space in the middle of the blind. We called Stacy and told her and she implied immediately that we were lying and insisted that she be able to come and take a look at it and take pictures which we said she was more than welcome to do. It was an unbelievable experience. In one breath she was calling us liars and in the next, crying hysterically telling us that she fired the girl that had broken the blinds. (Her biggest concern seemed to be about getting a poor report from us on Angie's List - which, by the way, we never did do a report until now). I told her she should be relieved that the housekeeper would no longer be working for her since she obviously lied and would probably be capable of doing more damage to her business. Doing damage and lying seems to be a problem at First Class Housekeeping which I want no part of. We didn't expect Stacy to replace or fix the blinds - we did want her to know that she had employees (they come in pairs) that break things and do not let anyone know and then deny doing it.. She offered to have the blind repaired and we agreed. This "pleasant" experience happened on a Wednesday and Stacy came back to pick up the blind the following Monday to take it to a window covering distributor to have repaired. (We provided the name of a company that we deal with through business that would be able to fix the blind and that is where she took it to be fixed.) She returned it a few days later and it had been done incorrectly, as you could not open or close the blinds - we took it back, they fixed it and we picked it up. We did most of the work involved in having the blind repaired. We did continue with their housekeeping service, every 2 weeks (poor decision). This past Wednesday, May 18th, First Class Housekeeping cleaned and when I arrived home from work there was a small gouge in the middle of our dining room table. It was not there when we left for work that day but was there when we returned. Once again, did I expect Stacy to replace the table or have it fixed - NO. I did want her to know that once again her employees had done damage and had not informed us. I was pretty sure this was going to be another situation like the blinds - lying about doing the damage - and I was correct. I called and left a message for Stacy telling her there was damage done to our table and I was not impressed. She never returned my call to apologize or get more details - nothing. (The table had been given to me by my mother and was a very expensive table and means a lot to me.) I sent Stacy an e-mail telling her I wanted our key returned ASAP and would appreciate knowing when that would be. I also told her I would be submitting a report to Angie's List. Monique Colorow, at First Class Housekeeping sent an e-mail to me saying she was a supervisor and she had talked to the housekeepers that had cleaned our home and they said they did not note anything wrong with the table. She went on to say that it is unusual for her employees to break one thing in the house and not let them know but is HIGHLY unusual for them to do it a second time (referring to the blind incident). She said they have strict policies on reporting back to them on the houses. Monique said she does not feel as though her housekeepers were lying. She indicated that she thinks we are lying, not only about the table, but also about the blind. Monique askled that I forward a picture of the table which I had planned to do when I returned home from work yesterday. She said that she would return the key yesterday afternoon (May 20th) and I instructed her to place the key in our storage area outside of our home underneath the rug. When I returned home from work yesterday I got the key that Monique had returned from our storage closet and went to open the front door and it was locked differently and I knew someone had been in our home. Monique had entered our home without permission - illegally. Apparently she felt it her right to enter our home without permission to retrieve the glass vase that they provide wih the cut flowers, as that had been removed and at this point I do not know if anything else is missing. We had cancelled all service with her company and she had absolutely no business entering our home. We would have been very happy to return her vase if she had asked. You simply do not enter someone's home without permission. In my opinion, First Class Housekeeping & Maid Service is not a company anyone should do business with. Mediocre cleaning and certainly not first class.
