First Class Housekeeping & Maid Service

The literally did everything. The landlord took his figure and tested the window blinds and fans. The nerve!! The even pulled the stove refrigerator.

They were average at best. They quoted me a price and then they called back wanting more money and I told them, "Well, you quoted the price. I told you what it was and the amount is clean." It was okay.

It went relatively well. There was a large amount of sanding dust that had to be cleaned and they did a good job of getting most of it.

It was wonderful. They were very prompt. They did a great job. They came when they said they would. They did a pretty thorough job. They were very friendly.

Good. Did a nice job quickly.

I signed up for the coupon deal of $150 for $200 worth of cleaning. I was told it might take longer than 3 hours but they were done in three hours. My husband and I were very pleased with their service and cleaning that we received. It was as advertised. We are looking to try them again. Our only complaint was a lack of communication when the staff was running late. This was our first appointment and my husband came home from work to let them in - 9:00 AM. He left when by 9:20 they weren't here. I called and found out they were running late and let them know a phone call would definitely had been better than no communication. They agreed and hopefully if we do use them in the future this type of communication will improve.

To begin with, there was a scheduling problem. I was told that I had been scheduled for Friday, Sept. 13 (one of my choices), but no one showed up that day. I called and found out that I had actually been scheduled for the next day. The manager gave me an extra hour of cleaning as compensation for the mix-up, and that was nice. Two women came that day, but they were an hour late. The person in the office had tried to reach me, but she didn't have my phone number. She sent an email which I found much later. I walked the women through the house and told them what needed to be done (kitchen, bathrooms on main level and finished basement, all floors, dusting as time permitted). I told them that they had four hours instead of three; they didn't seem to know that. They asked me about cleaning the windows, and I told them that would be nice, but only if there was time for that. They started cleaning on the main level, and I noticed that after three hours they still were at the main level. While one of them was cleaning windows there I told them that they really needed to go downstairs and clean the bathrooms and floors there, since we were running out of time. They did do that and cleaned the lower level during the 45 minutes that were still left. After they left, I noticed that they had also made the beds (they were made; they just did them differently). They did a really good job at the cleaning itself. My house looks really nice, especially the main level. They need to improve their time management and prioritize the cleaning according to the wishes of the home owner. The price was very good taking into account that I had a coupon and also received an additional hour of cleaning, but in the future I would like to explore a local company that will hopefully be more punctual.

The ladies were very nice. They called me within 24 hours of purchasing the coupon and came to clean the house within 3 days. They were quite pleasant and professional. They were willing to do the cleaning that I asked them to do, however, they did miss a few spots and they did not use an appropriate mop for the amount of dirt that was on the kitchen floor. They were two of them there for two hours. I guess I was expecting a little more time for $150.00.

I really liked it - they did a through job and added nice touches as far as how the arranged bedding, towels, etc. My negatives are that sometimes they weren't careful enough and they bent the hands of a clock and broke two wood blind wands. Also, after the first couple of visits, they stopped sending someone fluent in English, so communicating with them meant generally calling the company to help translate. Otherwise, it was good and I would use them again.

They had a team of four and they did an EXCELLENT job. They cleaned from top to bottom and did the most thorough job I've ever had -- blinds, baseboards, every nook and cranny. Only one of the cleaners spoke English, but all of the crew were courteous and responsive. I will definitely use them again and am considering going to a bi-weekly schedule.

I just met the team at my vacant house and walked them thru the 2500 sq feet to clean. They arrived at 9:30am and didn't finish until 4pm. In my opinion, that was pretty slow work on a vacant house, considering they didn't have to vacuum about 1900 square feet of carpet. The job was super clean, but maybe I should have been able to explain that I only wanted a general clean. Oh well - live and learn.

They were Great, on time, conscientious, and they finished the job within time allotted. The cleaning was done just right, and I received my full deposit back.

Having recovered from a serious illness and had recently returned to work . I found trying to keep a house in the bargain was becoming overwhelming. Being basically, military neat just looking at my place worsened my health and mental state. I realized Angie was still around and began checking to see if she could steer me somewhere I could get help. Sure enough I found Fisrt Class. We arrange to meet Monday 7/22/2013. A day i will not forget anytime soon. Six hours later I realy thought I was in someone else's house. No I aint exagerating. The Angels of mercy had surely arived, and did their angel dust majic. Seriously, a very professional team of ladies just came in and took over. I look forwarad to seeing them agan in a month.

I had to ask them to clean things over after they were done and I still had to go back and clean after they left. Not much done for the time spent on the house

Punctual, professional, thorough.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It's great. I like them and I'm still using them. I used them every 3 weeks. They do an excellent job and I'm willing to pay to have something done right. It's a little bit classier than usual and I like that. I don't really have any complaints. They don't leave anything undone. They provide a good service. They're very professional. They come in, go right to work. They don't sit around or chit-chat.

My previous review gave an F for responsiveness. Since that review written, I have been contacted twice by First Class management. First contact was in response to my review (I assume) and we discussed at length some issues they were having and how they intended to address those issues. In my opinion, those issues have been addressed and I am quite pleased with their reponse. As an aside, I have also contracted with First Class to periodically clean another family members home and for that cleaning, I request/get a deep cleaning. Though it is more expensive than my bi-monthly service, it is very much worth the time/cost. I had this deep cleaning done just prior to family members visiting from out of state. A comment made was ..... she has never been in a bathroom so spotless and clean. The two cleaners, Victoria and Susanne, who clean my house every two weeks also cleaned the other home and I couldn't be happier with what/how they do their job.

Well, for the most part it seemed fine. No one is perfect so you may see little things a few days later, but for the most part the house was clean. I had a load of laundry going which was a heavy load (stacked washer/dryer). When I returned home the washer was completely away from the wall. They claimed it shook, but it has never happened before. I needed some help getting it reconnected to the dryer vent. When I spoke to the office, he said they do not move appliances, but at the same time, I also found my stove was a few inches in front of the counter (basically not pushed back all of the way). I have no problem with this since if they did clean under the stove I am sure it needed it. The cleaning was in line with other companies I have used but for a much steeper price. The reason I said I would not use again is because they said they do not service Castle Rock (the site said they did). So with that and the steep price, they would not be an on-going option for me.

My only complaint about this company is the lack of response from the main office. While they send an e mail to alert/remind me of my upcoming service, when I call to request the cleaning of another residence or I send an e mail for this or that reason, I never hear back. For that reason, their response is graded as an F. All other aspects of the service I would rate an A. Seems to me, Stacy (or whomever is in charge) would take a more active role in replying to phone calls and/or e mails

The best clean I have even had done! We had recently bought the house and the sellers left it a disgusting mess. There was even food left in the oven, cat puke on the carpet, and urine on the toilets. This is a giant house, 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, roughly 3600 sq ft finished. These ladies did a fantastic job, they worked harder than any other maids I have ever had. They scrubbed the bathrooms, the kitchen, they even scrubbed all the nasty grease from the microwave vents, the cabinetry, and made the cook top shine (which was amazing I had resolved to just replace it it was that disgusting). We loved what they did so much that we have hired them to do bi-weekly cleaning. They are worth every penny and more.

I have a large three story home and the estimate Stacy gave was spot on. Her business partner called the next day to check on my satisfaction.

**Update** After posting the review below, I was contacted by 1st Class Housekeeping. They apologized for never calling me back. I appreciated the phone call and the apology, but had already gone with another company. I would consider calling them if I ever needed to change services. I have updated my ratings accordingly. **Original Review** I called 1st Class Housekeeping to see if they would service Golden and to receive an estimate for a house deep clean and regular house cleaning. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and gave me an estimate over the phone based on the square footage of the home, the number of bedrooms, etc. It was slightly higher than other estimates I received, but in the same ballpark. He told me that he needed to check with the owner (who was out of town) to see if they would be able to service Golden. (I live in the heart of Golden, near downtown.) He said he would contact me later that day or the next. I never heard back. My ratings are for the lack of follow-through when I was promised a return phone call.

The service was scheduled for March 9th, but it was cancelled due to the snow storm that weekend. The company communicated and followed up to reschedule the appointment for the following Saturday. The crew arrived on time and cleaned my house from ceiling to floor. Since we were preparing to move into the house, the cleaning had to very detailed and thorough and the crew performed marvelously. The kitchen appliances were very messy and they had to go over some of the aplliances more than once to get them really clean, but they did so without being told and I did not hear one complaint. The crew was very professional and you could tell that they took pride in their work. They exemplified the motto. "Whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability". My husband was very impressed and he is a difficult guy to impress. I will definitely be using this service on a regular basis.

I was amazed by the meticulousness and attention to detail of the cleaners. They took every book out of my bookcases (many, many books and 4 bookcases) dusted each shelf and each book before they replaced them. All the baseboards were dusted and/or cleaned. My house is older, so there is decorative molding on the doors and floor boards; and those were cleaned of all the dust they had accumulated as well. Previously I had a house guest who liked to cook (fry) but didn't like to use the screen over the pans that prevented the grease from getting into the air and thus causing all the kitchen surfaces to have a slightly sticky coating. That, combined with the hair from the dog and cats, created an awful mess. My dishes are in open cabinets. They took all of them out, cleaned them, cleaned the cabinets, and put them back exactly in their previous positions. Nothing was sticky with grease. There was no animal hair in the house when they finished. My house looked so beautiful. Every surface was clean. The bathrooms looked great. Each has a very large mirror, and they both were spotless. My entire house looked like a magazine spread!

Overall the lady's are really good. They don't mind when I'm working beside them, or if I'm actually working on work. They accommodate regardless. However, I'm quite far from the companies home base so I usually don't expect them here until about 30 minutes after the scheduled time because of traffic and such. While most of the lady's first language is Spanish, they do understand English pretty good and sometimes help me out with understanding Spanish. :-) Scheduling is not a problem as I have had to reschedule services several times for various reasons. Here are my two downsides: 1. I've been using the company for about 4-5 months now, and yet with the exception of two lady's, they still aren't comfortable with my dogs. Granted I have large dogs, but they are friendly as can be and really excited when they lady's come so this probably contributes to the uncomfortableness. But, my number one priority with finding a service was that whoever came to the house must be comfortable with dogs. 2. The price. They do an excellent job! However, I feel the price for the services is a bit much. Because I have the reoccurring service, it is getting to the point where I may not be able to afford them for much longer which is very sad. I truly love my house after the lady's are here!
