Fireplace Warehouse

Matt, the technician, did a great job. Friendly, professional service, on time and within budget. Fireplace Warehouse charged a fair price for this service. I've bought my evaporative cooler and fireplace insert from this company and have been extremely happy with the products and services I received from them over the past several years.

Extremely Frustrating! I'm not really sure where to start given that there were so many factors that went wrong in a dragged out process that took close to 6 weeks. It's a case of buyer beware. 1) Initially, I was shopping for a gas fireplace and requested from Fireplace Warehouse to send out a salesman to come to the house and give an estimate. This person (who it turned out was a sub contractor for Fireplace Warehouse) showed up 3 hours late and only after being called by myself to remind him of our appt. The estimator gave me a cursory idea of what was needed,but never passed on this basic info to the parent company; So it was no surprise that when I called Fireplace Warehouse (FW) they had no idea of who I was. 2) At that point we decided it was probably best to go to the FW showroom and look around. Met a great salesman nicknamed "Matchstick"who insured us that he would take care of us and we scheduled an at home visit again. On the day of our appt we again were waiting for someone to show up. Upon calling the FW to find out where this guy is, we were informed that "Matchstick" is really not a salesman and never should have booked an appt with us in the first place. .3) FH at that point suggested that they send out an estimator to take a look at the job. After inquiring I find that the guy they want to send out is actually the first guy that they sent out- the same one that actually doesn't work directly with the company. At that point we said "NO THANKS"
