Egress Inc. was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The first visit for a bid consisted of Chad showing up with a huge binder of pictures. He reviewed the job and provided a bid. Once I opted to select their bid, Jim (an owner) came over to review the job, sign the contract and schedule the work. Egress Inc showed up on the scheduled day and completed the job in the time frame discussed (even working around a big rainstorm). Lorelei (an owner) called after the install to make sure I was satisfied with the job and sent a handwritten thank you card in the mail. The window well cover I selected had to be fabricated, so the install occurred a couple weeks later. Lorelei called again to make sure I was happy with the work. The materials, quality of work and professionalism with a personal touch was good- and they hauled off a bit of extra dirt by request. I would hire them again.

Egress, Inc. was a great company to work with. They were professional, responsive, and made sure I was a satisfied customer. And, they left the house as clean as they found it, even though they cut a hole in the wall. Very satisfied. One other thing: We had a wood trim finish installed with the window. They prepared the wood insert ahead of time so that I could stain and finish the wood prior to them installing it. It eliminated any messiness that finishing wood produces.

They were fine. They were professional. They came on time. Their estimate was high, so I didn't go with them.

They put down tarps on the grass and dug out the wells by hand. They put in two new metal wells and filled in the area nicely. They packed the dirt well because it's almost been a year since the install and the dirt has not sunk down. They had to cut and reroute a sprinkler line and didn't charge me any extra. They did the job in two days without any issues. The price was expensive, but compared to another quote I got ($5,000), it was 1/2 price.

I had an estimate done, then later called to accept it and schedule the date. Since we had the work done in January, we had the possibility of having to move the date if we got a heavy snow, but as it turned out, the scheduled work day was sunny and nice. They had to come back on a second day to do the final touches, as we were advised they might. The covers were then measured and made to custom fit. Those were delivered in a very short appointment a few weeks later.

The process went smoothly, except for the discovery of a bees nest.

They were fabulous. They were prompt. I thought the price was excellent for what I got. They were really helpful. They only do Egress windows. They have a special window that opens very well. They meet fire codes without getting into structural issues. They were really attentive to appearances. It wasn't an ugly window, even though it is a metal surround on the inside. They placed their ladders to their side so you don't have to look out your window and stare at ugly re-bars. The inspector gave me a feeling that since this company did the work it was fine. I received a discount from them. We stumbled on them at a home and garden show. We started talking to them, and they understood what we needed and wanted. Everything is like pearl; maybe even better.

I?m a critic of true professionalism. Egress Inc. communicates well, efficient, prepared and did quality work. They were on time and cleaned up everything before they left. The owners are just has professional as their employees. I could not be happier!

This company tore up my tree, dinged up my wall, and broke some of my flagstone. They also left a cubic yard of dirt sitting on my backyard patio for a month because they ordered the wrong windows. They didn't clean up when the job was done and when they left, the window grates which I asked them to save were nowhere to be found. The windows look nice, but it was not worth the aggravation.
