Dutchman Remodeling

Worked with Dutchman Remodeling to complete a relatively small project demolishing a fireplace and closing off a wall. Could not be any happier with my experience working with Shane. He came out quickly to look at the job and give a timely quote, which was straightforward and completely reasonable . He worked with me patiently as my loosely conceived plan changed a few times. Even before we had officially committed to the job, he reached out to follow-up with some useful thoughts about how best to do the work. He kept me informed about the timing of the job, and when he estimated 3 days, he was right on target. Shane knew what he was doing, and also didn’t seem to mind me poking around to watch what was happening, and to ask questions. His partner Miguel was also fantastic. He took care of the interior work and I must say, he’s an artist. He even took time to share a few pro tips on painting with me. Shane and Miguel will be at the top of my list for future projects.

Shane was a real pleasure to work with. He completed a full demo and remodel of our only full bath. As you can imagine, it was a stressful time for both my wife and I, but thankfully he did everything he could to get the job done quickly without sacrificing quality. Shane was outstanding to work with. He did more than a bathroom. He remodeled 2 bathroom a kitchen a living room an a laundry room. He did much of the work himself and his subs were all great. He was on site most every day during the project and was much more reliable than some other contractors we have worked with

Shane became one of the family during our sunroom/bathroom addition. We have a 108 year old home which has many challanges. Shane and his team did a remarkable job from fileing permits on a historic home to old plumbing/sewer issues. He came in on budget and on time. I've reccomended him to friends and are already planning a new sundeck addition with him. Though we don't miss the dust we miss Shane's smiling face in the mornings. Shane did a great job for me on multiple projects including drywall repair, installation of tile floor, exterior garden pipe repair, garage wood frame and gutter repair. All projects were completed within a couple of days and everything looks great. Shane was diligent in communication and did not make assumptions without discussing with me exactly what I wanted.

Excellent work

Our contractor was very trustworthy and talented. He fixed our framing problems and made them look good in the process. He gave us reasonable quotes for every project we showed him (and there were several) and he was friendly, punctual and frankly, nice to talk to!

Shane McCay is awesome. The work on my house lasted almost 6 weeks, a very big job. Shane and his crew were there every day. They were punctual, polite, funny and fun to work with. They cleaned up after each days work and addressed my every concern till the work was perfect. Shane even made suggestions to make the rooms better than I had originally planned. I have found the carpenter and handyman of my dreams. No worries with Dutchman Remodeling!!!
