Donovan arborists are professionals all around and I'm sticking with them for the future care and treatment of my trees and shrubbery.

It worked out very well. They trimmed one tree and deep fertilized my bushes.

They showed up and quickly removed the tree.

It was overall a good experience. We did have to wait a long time to get the work done. I had an issue with how the upright junipers were done and Paul inspected the work and then they sent out somebody to do some more work to make it right.

Very well. Trees and the Juniper now look great and all the trimmings were thoroughly removed. Crew members were very courteous, responsive to questions and professional.

The crew called ahead and arrived on time. The job was performed quickly, and they cleaned up afterwards. The stump grinding was not very deep (about 4"), but they did say it would only be about 6 inches below the surface.

Excellent. Paul met me to assess the work involved. He gave me a written estimate. And the tree was removed shortly thereafter. Very professional group.

This company was fantastic to work with. The crew was on time, did a great job removing the tree and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. Very impressive work ethic and a very good price for an extremely large tree removal. i have decided to use them for my tree maintenance program based on my experience with Paul and his workers.

These guys are legit. I cannot express my appreciation enough. Our family was in a super tight spot with a flood, we needed a tree gone to fix the plumbing issue. Paul showed up in 20 minutes, team was here in 2 hours, job was done in 30 minutes. We are incredibly grateful.

Awful! It took them several weeks to even contact us from our Angie's list purchase. Then we approved the bid, late June and they didn't even come to do the work until the first week of August. We agreed to have the tree removed and the stump grinder so we could lay new sod, and fix the area up. Only after the tree was removed did they notice we had a utility box right by the tree (which I'm really not sure how they missed it the two other times they came over). They are now refusing to grind the stump and get rid of it. If we knew this was going to be an issue, we would have never agreed to take the tree out in the first place, we would have just kept trimming it. Now we have a large stump consuming an entire large corner of our home, and a bunch of wood shavings they never cleaned up. Paul the owner was uncooperative and unprofessional the entire time, and said it is my problem. Now I have to seek a legal remedy to recoup the money I spent on this horrible service!

Awesome. Paul Donovan was great to work with, and a really nice guy. He worked with his team, not just directing them. They showed up right up on time, and did a very good job cleaning up at the end of the day. Most pleased and will use them again in the future.

It went great! They were booking pretty far out, but since the job was pretty small managed to squeeze it in really quickly. They arrived, did the work quickly, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Later on they called back to make sure everything went well. Would definitely use again.

I called them to schedule several trees to be cut down, grinded out, disposed of, and then a new tree planted. They came out and gave an estimate. After deciding we'd like them to perform the work, we were put on the schedule for several months out which was requested by us. We decided to cut down two Aspen trees ourselves so I called back and changed the list of services. When I called, they couldn't even find me in their system but they wrote it down. Then, they called me back two months later asking me if I'd like to schedule the service. I told them it's already on the schedule for Sept 3rd. On the day of the service, I received a call that someone on the crew had an illness so they may be later in the day than anticipated. Once the crew arrived: We revisited the services requested. E.g. remove corkscrew willow, grind down stump, and plant new willow. We were disappointed to learn that the grinding service was outsourced so our newly purchased tree would need to be planted later. The plan was to have the stump ground out the following day (Sept 4th) and someone from Donovan Arborists would show up Sept 5th to plant the tree. Although we were disappointed with the delay in finishing the job, I should mention that crew did an excellent job removing the willow. They cleaned up branches that fell into our neighbor?s yard, were fast, and very friendly. On Sept 9th, we still had a willow stump and unplanted willow tree in our back yard which was slowly dying. After complaining, they finally were able to get the stump grinded out. Our new willow tree was about dead so we had them transplant a small maple tree and plant it in the hole instead of the new willow tree. We are disappointed with 2 things: 1. The disjointed delivery of services. It was our original understanding that everything could be completed in 1 day. 2. The lack of follow through to get the remaining services completed. We were happy with the actual work of the men and the end results.

Great. Personal, high quality service from a small firm owned by a guy who loves trees. He knows what he is doing, takes the time to answer all of your questions, and gives great advice, too. I had to wait a few weeks from the consultation to the time of service, but it's Spring and I wouldn't have expected it otherwise. Very competitive pricing and I always like to give the small business my money when I can. If you want personal service, call Paul.

The tree removal and clean up were excellent and I would hire them again. The crew told us that they did not have the equipment to remove the stump, that someone would contact us. It never happened.

Getting on the calendar for a quote took longer than expected, but from that point on the experience has been fantastic. They arrived on schedule, were very professional and respectful of our property and our neighbor's property as well given that the tree extends into their yard too. They spent several hours with the ash tree, and it looks great. The crabapple came down quickly. They thoroughly cleaned up after they finished. Definitely worth the expense for the peace of mind of having the job done well. Highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future.

Paul and his crew showed up on time, and completed the job efficiently. They were courteous, professional, and obviously knew what they were doing. They were conscientious of the surrounding structures (house, garage, etc.), which was important considering the size of the cottonwood tree they removed. They also did an impressive job cleaning up after the job was finished. We will definitely be using Donovan Arborists in the future for tree maintenance and removal. I've recommended them to all my friends and family, and will continue to do so.

I needed someone to come out and remove 3 trees, trim up one, and cable a large tree that had split down the middle. I called Donovan's and now I have an arborist I can call for anything I need! They were very professional, reasonably priced, quick, and really cared about the aesthetic of my trees. I have since used them again to trim up 2 more trees on my property (one that had grown into some overhead cables). I trust these guys and I like them. They are friendly, good with my dogs, and clean up the yard wonderfully. Tree trimming is expensive and the job needs to be done correctly - don't hesitate to give them a call. I wouldn't use anyone else now.
