,Actually, this review if for the Lone Tree Sears Outlet but I have to review the Denver one as the Lone Tree outlet is not on Angies list. However, the warning would apply to this Sears as well as the Lone Tree store. Be aware, they can and do sell non functioning appliances to you - you have no way to plug the appliance in at the store and, therefore.must trust it works as described. I bought a Kenmore washing machine model # 21102010 that had cosmetic damage only and had been "tested"" TODAY. Got it home and it can't complete a cycle, lid lock malfunctions, during spin - it quivered, but didn't move. Tried to return it less than 6 hours after bought it - no go. YOU CAN'T RETURN ANY APPLIANCE EVEN IF IT DOESN'T WORK They instead send you to repairs, I have to schedule a technician to come out to "repair" it. Great. I was so excited to buy a new washing machine, my first in a very long time, and the lousy thing doesn't even work. Way to go Sears. A repairman should be used when an appliance has been working, it has stopped because over time, maybe a part has failed. Not on something you just bought. Sears is substandard, a major disappointment. Beware, they sell lemons.

Went into the outlet store to buy a new washer. Found an amazing deal on a Whirlpool HE edition that was discounted heavily due to a tiny chip on the front of it. Paid extra for home delivery and set up and have been a happy camper ever since!

They have a large selection of appliances in all price ranges. A few have minor finish blemishes, but most seem complete and new. The staff person we spoke with was knowledgeable. Most items had significant discounts. We did not make any purchase, but will go back when we are ready.
Description of Work: We went in just to check it out. Very large selection of home appliances.

Who can afford top-notch appliances in this economy? Well, you can afford them if you give the Sears Outlet a shot. I was a little apprehensive about buying an appliance "returned" and "refurbished" from the Outlet. But given the price comparisons, there was just no beating the Sears Outlet. At other places, I could have afforded a basic fridge and stove. Because I shopped the Sears Outlet, my kitchen is starting to look downright professional. I was also in need of a fridge that fit certain specs (less than 34" in width). Other places didn't even carry models of such smaller fridges. At the Sears Outlet, there's a huge variety to choose from, I especially liked working with Dave, the salesman, who walked me through each step of the appliance-buying process and who explained all the features on each item.
Description of Work: The Sears Outlet provides appliances with minor dings at a major discount. I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator with icemaker and water filtration AND a Maytag convection stove. I spent way too much time (the entire summer) researching the products and comparing prices at other stores. I bought stainless steel appliances I could never afford brand-new. I stuck a magnet over a tiny ding on the fridge and it looks like new. If there's cosmetic damage on the stove, I sure can't tell where.

They succeeded in fixing it after four times. They had to come out three or four times. They came out one week and said that I had to order a part. I ordered the part. I had to call them another week for them to come back to do it. They did not do it right. They would never send the same person twice and so, the one that came out during the second week did not know as to what the first person had ordered. It was sad and it was not a good experience.
Description of Work: I used Denver-Sears Outlet Store during the winter. They tried to fix my freezer as my ice maker was messed up.

They called 15 minutes ahead of time to let me know that they were on their way. When we opened the door, we noticed a crack in one of the drawers. 3 minutes after the guy left, we received a call from Sears. They asked which drawer it was and ordered it right away. I was very surprised to have such immediate contact from them. The delivery man was very clean cut and we were pleased with the experience.
Description of Work: We bought a refridgerator from them and they delivered it.

They are terrible I would like to complain about them. They never did the work or showed up for any appointments. They charge me for appointments but never show up and I had 3 no show appointments. I had trouble following up a complaint. I had scheduled an appointment online with them. Even before anyone could come, I had to pay for it and secure it in advance for a service call. Then no one called on that day so I had called customer service and they said it was a scheduling contract. They did not show up; so I had rescheduled and they gave a five hour window from one to five on a Friday, as I could not get a Saturday appointment for almost 6 weeks. My dishwasher was broken. They told me that the customer service would call me a night before but they never did. So I called customer service in the morning and I told them that I will not be able to get off work that early but the neighbor had the key and I left a note on the door. So I was home at about one thirty but till three-thirty I didn't hear anything from anybody. So I called customer service again and they said that the technician had come out but no one answered door and that they did not see the note. I had asked for another appointment to be rescheduled and I demanded that they come the next day. I was told that I was not a priority because it was just a dishwasher. My refrigerator wasn't broken; so I wasn't a priority to them. I had a second no show with them. I didn?t know what to do, as I work and I take a day off to wait for a service call. Then the customer service department after the second no show just accused me and said they would put me on a schedule. I got my money back. I won't even buy anything from them. It?s bad and it's got bad business practices. They are so big and their customer service is not good. I usually buy Kenmore appliances from them and shop with them because in the past it has been a good brand. I just want to tell everybody the kind of frustration I went through with them. I would use someone else from here. I should have just gone online on Angie's List and found another provider to help me out.
Description of Work: I called Denver-Sears Outlet Store last time in October to help me with an appliance problem three times, but they never showed up.
