+ -1 moreTheir bid when they found out it was not going to be covered by insurance went from $14805 to $18805. I had another company do an estimate directly behind them and the bid was $14000. The scope of work was essentially the same even down to the type of shingles. Seems strange.

+ -1 moreWhen I finally was able to talk with someone, he said he was very busy with hail damage repair jobs and would get back to me, which he didn't after several weeks. When I called to follow up last week, he still has not called me back. Maybe Columbine Roofing is good at what they do but I'll never know. I'll find someone else now.

Steve came out very quickly (next day I think it was), did a thorough inspection and was confident he could craft a diversion solution that would work. And he did and it did. Brought 3 of his guys and was done in half a day. Totally professional, very friendly, I think he could see that I was very concerned, and he calmed me down. I'm a customer for life.

+ -1 moreMike and Columbine Roofing did an exceptional job from start to finish. A wind storm blew quite a few shingles off of our roof. Mike explained the process, we paid the deductible on our insurance and we got a new roof. Columbine provided us with a high quality roof that exceeded my expectations. The roofing crew was very thorough and even cleaned up any left over debris. I am extremely pleased with our new roof and would call Columbine again, although I think this roof will will be pretty long lasting.

+ -1 moreThis went very well from start to finish. I had previously worked with Steve getting gutters on one house and had the opportunity to work with him again. He walked us through the whole process answered all my questions no matter how redundant they may have been. He was there when the insurance adjuster was there, arriving a few minutes early so that he could talk to us and look at the roof and even stayed with us when the adjuster went over the very confusing paperwork. Steve also returned all my calls and or e-mails. We had the shingles delivered later that week and the roof put on the next business day with the gutters the following day. Cost varies per type of roof and upgrades. I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

+ 0 moreI highly recommend Columbine Roofing LLC! All the employees were friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. From beginning to end the whole process went very smoothly. At our initial meeting, the Project Manager explained the entire process and gave us options of products. He also helped through the whole process with the Insurance Adjuster. I paid nothing out of pocket other than my deductible. I was pleased the installation only took one day and included a thorough cleanup. The new roof was put on perfectly and looks awesome. They not only did my roof, but also set everything up for my gutter replacement as well. I’m confident that if you are in need of a roof replacement, they would be an excellent choice.

Description of Work: Columbine Roofing and owner Jeremy Riehl did a superior job replacing my roof after a hail storm. They were timely and very professional, and their workmanship was outstanding. Jeremy reviewed my insurance appraisal and found many items that the insurance adjuster had missed. He worked directly with my insurance adjuster and as a result my final insurance settlement was substantially higher than the original appraisal.

Description of Work: For the TL:DR crowd I'll say if you are looking for a Roofer/House repair contractor you have found your agency. Stop looking and go with Columbine roofing. | |We needed extensive repairs after the major hail storm of last September. Within hours of the storm there were various roofing company representatives going door-to-door in the neighborhood. Truthfully, I was getting bothered by so many every day. Probably about the 3rd day after the storm Tim from Columbine Roofing rang our bell. I gave him my usual spiel that I will be doing my own research into roofers, etc. and took his card and info. He then said he totally understands and this (going door-to-door) is one of his least favorite things to do as he hates to potentially bother people at home. I told him that we probably were getting around 5 or 6 folks each day knocking on our door so it was the sheer number that was getting to me. We got to talking and he started pointing out the damage that I hadn't noticed to the house. I invited him in and around the house and he inspected it, pointed out a lot, told me more about Columbine Roofing and offered to be here, free-of-charge, when my insurance representative came to inspect the property. | |Fast forwarding a bit Tim was here for the insurance inspection and the insurance rep appreciated Tim being present for this too because they were able to be on the same page from the get go regarding materials and pricing, payment, etc. Tim was in contact with me every step of the way and explained everything to me regarding the technicalities of working with insurance. Tim did most of the work but kept me looped in with everything. Knowing that both the roofers and the insurance were in agreement about the price of things made me feel confident that the numbers and facts I was getting were honest and representative of the market. | |Tim was the intermediary between insurance as well as those Columbine Roofing contracts with that we needed for repairs which included broken windows, beading, garage replacement, etc. All money, scheduling, and most communication went through Tim. This made things so much simpler on my end. I had four different repair companies out here and being able to go through one liaison made what could have been a very complicated and frustrating experience almost easy, though I'm sure it was complicated and frustrating for Tim. | |Tim and his company Columbine Roofing were excellent communicators, very friendly and professional, answered all of my questions, and never were pushy. Tim came out to check on progress and quality almost every day the workers were at my house and took the time to check in with me to make sure I was happy with what was going on at my house. They did what was contracted for and they completed the work on time and under (yes under!) budget. I needed a new roof, windows, screens, beading, gutters, house paint, and garage door and Columbine Roofing was able to get it all done. And done well. I would be happy to be reference for them should anyone want to contact me with questions.
