I woke up this morning to a backed up sewer pipe and my basement floor flooded. Well, I called a local plumber in my neighborhood who recommended this company. I called them at 7:15, by 7:30 they had two technicians on their way out to me, and the problem was scoped and fixed by 9:30. The tech's were on time, friendly and respectful, and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. They let me know that they are on call 24 hours a day and don't have after hours service charges- same price whether I call at 9am or 9pm! I was super thankful for the professionalism and the straightforward pricing.

As indicated, Norman is a gem, who loves to explain each move that he does. He could be an excellent teacher of the trade. While the company offers coverage around the clock for no extra charges, if one has a serious problem, it is best to set up an appointment between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm when the most experienced and knowledgeable senior techs are available.

It's always a problem, because there is really no proper clean out and they have to pull the toilet. It's messy, but they did a good job of clean up as well. It is usually $99, but because they had to pull the toilet, it was more money, but worth it.

The techs at Colorado Sewer Service were incapable of snaking our clogged sewer line. The good: I called them first thing in the morning to help unclog a backed up sewer line. They answered immediately and I got an appointment within hours. The tech called when he was on his way and was at my house within twenty minutes of the call. They did not attempt to charge me for their incompetance. The bad: The techs that came to my house were lazy and incompetent. They were unable to find the clean-out for the sewer, which another plumber found within minutes. After not finding the existing clean out, they proceeded to list all of the reasons they couldn't find another way to unclog the sewer line. These two were clearly not problem solvers. Every option they listed - going through the roof, the toilet, etc. - was simply not possible for them. They were practically walking out my front door as they explained why no work was going to happen. As I write this, I have another plumbing company doing the work Colorado Sewer Service was incapable of doing. The new plumber found the clean out, almost immediately. When the clog persisted, despite going through the clean out, he proceeded to remove the toilet to get to the clog. Obviously, the job was quite possible for someone who actually wanted to do the work and was competent to do it. Colorado Sewer Service was a real disappointment.

Norman came on time and really knew his business. He took some time to troubleshoot where the clog was and then snaked from the basement clean-out (which I suggested the other guy should do). He looked at the Studer Vent and said it was working fine, and even if it needed replacing, I could so that for $25 from Home Depot. The experiences were like night and day and restored my faith in the profession.

It went great. Jake arrived within two hours of our call and diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. We didn't know we had a main line stoppage but he quickly found it and worked pretty darn hard to end up removing a chunk of cast iron (old broken pipe) that was in there catching debris and causing problems. Everything is working fine now. Jake was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and thoughtful. He improvised a great solution to keep waste from spilling into the house since our outdoor access to the sewer line had been covered up by previous owner remodels. It was also nice to receive price estimate highs and lows on the phone before they sent out a technician. All around, very pleased.

I've used this company 3 times. They are punctual, efficient, experienced and courteous. In December 2014 I had a leak outside of the house that seeped into the basement. This was not the main sewer line, but a line going from the kitchen which ties into the main sewer in the backyard, common in older homes. My plumber dug up the area, saw a break in the pipe near the house which was responsible for the leak and repaired it. I wanted a camera put in both the kitchen line and the main sewer before the plumber left in case there were any other breaks or issues. I called Colorado Sewer, explained that the plumbers were onsite and had the yard dug up. They reworked some schedules and within an hour had someone onsite. The camera found two more breaks in the kitchen line in the backyard. The plumber dug more and replaced the pipe to where the line was good. Colorado Sewer also used the camera in the main sewer line and found there were no issues. This was well worth the price of 200.00 I've also used this company for clogged drains. I find the prices reasonable and they know what they are doing.

First, I got COLORADO SEWER SERVICE's name and number from a plumber I found here on AL that told me if you have a clogged drain, toilet, sewer, whatever, it is much cheaper to call a drain and sewer specialist, as they charge less per hour than a plumber and it is all they do so they have all of the necessary equipment. So not only did I save money, found the guys with the right gear to get it done, but COLORADO SEWER SERVICE is a and quot;24 hour company,and quot; where they charge the same lower rate no matter the time of day. So, they could be at our hose at a convenient time for us - 7:30pm. Anyway, a nice young gentleman showed up on time, went right to work, fixed it, double checked to make sure we wouldn't have problems again and left.

Ran camera and snake with blade. Antonio carefully evaluated issue listening to my information and concerns. He took his time and fixed the problem confirming with camera at completion. Worked with me on cost since multiple services were being performed. Explained continued maintenance to prevent issue and/or reduce recurrence. Extremely happy since another plumber offered no warranty and their work didn't fix the issue. I'll use no one else on my drains/sewer line from now on. Great surprise that Antonio and company value a job well done and leaving a satisfied customer.

Evaluated a secondary line from Kitchen for blockage flow issues.?

We have old pipes and with new low flow toilets causes flow issues. They needed water jet device to flush out system which I haven't seen before.

Our usual plumber was fully booked and they recommended us to Colorado Sewer Service for unclogging service. This was on a Saturday when we were having my son's birthday party later that day so we were in a pinch. We called CSS and they said they could be there in a few hours. A rep (Brett) called me shortly thereafter and said he would be there in 30 minutes. Brett came and quickly diagnosed the problem and did a thorough job with cleaning up afterwards which has been a problem with us and other providers. The fact that they didn't charge extra for the weekend was a big plus. I would use them again in the future as they were timely and did exactly what was needed. They provided a 90 day warranty for the line they cleaned and took care of it all in just over an hour.

I called in afternoon, arrived just before 5 pm. The technician was professional, cheerful and got right to work. I appreciated his professionalism at the end of a long day. This company was recommended to me because they will clear the sewer line by going through a pipe in the roof. He opted to pull the toilet and send a cable that way. It took about an hour. He rinsed out the bathtub while waiting for the cable to do something or other. I was recovering from a recent injury and appreciated his thoughtfulness in starting the cleaning up.Later I noticed that the toilet was not as precisely re-installed as it was when it was put in new the year before. I was still satisfied with the service and the price.

They usually offer a limited warranty but didn't this time because one of my roommates had disposed of tampons down the toilet.

They used a high pressure water to clean the sewer line and that was really good. It solved a clog problem I was having at my home for 30 years! It truly cleaned out the entire pipe. Their pricing is very fair and the quality is excellent. I have hired them a number of times now. They are my go-to guys for plumbing!

Excellent! This company does not do sewer repairs so they have nothing to gain by fudging camera inspections (see Channel 4 News report May, 2013). They were prompt, courteous, and honest.

Colorado Sewer Service has a preventative maintenance program where they call you every designated months. We are are the 10 month cycle (thanks to the Cottonwood tree in our yard and the rumored too small sewer pipes in our neighborhood.) We get a reminder call every 10 months and then schedule at our convenience. Norman was punctual and did remove a "nice amount of roots." Once we figured out that we had to stay on top of the preventative maintenance we have not had any problems with our sewer lines backing up. Typically we have had the main line cleaned out. On occasion we also get a branch line cleaned out in the laundry room.

These guys we're here within 30 minutes of us calling. They we're able to unclog and clear all the houses lines, and found the original cause of the problem ( a tree root in the lawn broke a pipe and blocked it), repaired it, and had us back together in just a couple of hours at a very reasonable cost. They even cleaned up what they could of the mess that was there before they began.

We have used Colorado Sewer for years. We have them clean the main line regularly as preventive maintenance. Richard arrived on time and had the line cleaned quickly and with minimal mess. We have never had the main line scoped and decided to do so. He ran his camera through the line to the city connection. Left us a DVD of the video. Great job as usual.

I've used Colorado Sewer Service for years and they have never done wrong by me. This service was a little rocky but only a portion of it was their fault. The part I fault them for is that the first (of three total) techs who assisted me was pretty new and was not comfortable going into the crawl space to rooter the sink drain line back toward the sink (as opposed to rootering forward from the sink) so he said to call tomorrow (it was late by the time he left) and schedule with someone that could do it. It was later confirmed by the second tech (who did an excellent job) that the first guy should have definitely been able to complete the service. All in all, not the end of the world but a bit unprofessional in my opinion. The second (and subsequent third) techs eventually found the sink drain line. It turned out (personally verified by me) that there was about a five-foot section of my galvanized drain line that was so badly corroded that the rooter bit was liable to (and actually did just a tiny bit) poke through and destroy the the pipe if they attempted to clean it out. The tech said that, in order to clean out the sink drain line, the line would need to be repaired or replaced (and again, in my completely non- professional opinion, I personally visually verified what he said to be true). This is not entirely relevant to this review but, for the sake of continuity, to save a little money, I replaced the section of pipe myself. Once replaced, I called Colorado Sewer back and they sent a tech out that same night (he arrived around 9:00pm) to finish the job and clear the sink clog so we could use it again. The third (and final) tech completed the job and everything was well again. A note on charges: Preventative Rooter of main line (first tech): full price at $175 but no charges for any of the other work he did on the sink (since he didn't fix it) First visit for sink drain: half price at $82.25 since they couldn't complete the work but did do a lot of rootering (actually ended up rooting my entire laundry drain line in the search for the sink drain so that ended up a freebie). Second visit for sink drain: half price at $82.25 since they finished up what the earlier tech started. All in all, I had three full rooter drain cleanings for the price of two and, despite some of the complications. Even the first tech who refused to complete the work was a nice guy and what he did he did well. I would not hesitate to use Colorado Sewer again.

They came out very quickly and got rid of the blockage. They warranted the work for 30 days. The technician (Omar) was very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. .
