Major household usually break on the weekends ! My 13 year old water heater broke on a Saturday and trying to find a professional on Saturday is not easy. Andy Dupree, the owner of Colbys called immediately and provided me with estimations. I still reached out to other professionals and their estimates, response time and projected turnaround time was not even close to Colby's.. Robert, the technician was timely, efficient, humorous and walked my wife and I through what he was doing. The cost of my water heater replacement was $500 to $1,000 less than other estimates. I also, compared my cost with neighbors who had similar problems. So if you have one o f those weekend plumbing issues call Colby's and Andy Dupree will provide you a fair price in a timely manner. Have pictures ready to share. I hope I don't have to, but I would hire Colby's Plumbing and have and enjoy the rest of my weekend.

Another plumbing company came out, quoted double the price, and left us high and dry. John from Colby solved the issue in one day and for half the price.

I left a call during off hours and never heard back from them. I called them back 5 days later and they said my call must've "slipped through the cracks." I went ahead and made an appointment for the following Monday and John was great! Done in an hour and was way less expensive than I feared. Went very well. John investigated requiring surprising detective work because the slow leak was caused by a construction defect 20 years ago that finally caused water to leak due to excessively long nails used to nail down baseboard trim. A long nail penetrated a pipe and sealed it for years. Finally it started leaking but the exact spot of the leak was difficult to pinpoint since the leak was so slow and also hidden between walls and embedded in a 2x4. Repair went smoothly and water damage was minimized as much as possible. I would not hesitate to call them in the future as the need arises.

Robert was very professional, explained everything he was going to do. There were no surprises. He cleaned up the areas he was working in when he was finished. I have used Colby Pluming three time now and will continue to use their services.

They were very easy to deal with and flexable. They showed up on time and inspected the issue to find it was not plumbing related, but due to some caulking issues. Given it was not a plumbing issue, they discounted the callout fee by 50%.

My garbage disposal broke down. I called Insinkerator to try to fix the problem over the phone but was unable to do so. I had a trip later in the week and was in a hurry to get the problem fixed for my wife before I left. I sent a message to Colby Plumbing through Angie's List and received a prompt response back with a quote for both fixing and replacing the garage disposal. I hired another company as they were able to come a little sooner, but would have had no doubts in hiring Colby Plumbing due to their responsiveness and professionalism.

Excellent. They are incredibly responsive and a lot of times i have them come out and provide an estimate before I start the work; they several times have come in UNDER estimate. I do historical remodels and they get the work done and are incredibly honest.

It went well. Andy was very responsive and was able to send John same day. John was very professional and good at communicating the problem and required fix. He arrived within the time frame that I was given.

It was excellent. Robert showed on time. His knowledge and experience in older homes showed. He was able to spot our trouble areas and provide me a very competitive soft quotation for the re-pipe. He was able to easily removed the old shut off valves and replace with a new 1/4 turn shutoff direct from our homes galvanized supply line. The actual working time was an hour or less and now we have great peace of mind. The cost was nearly 2/3 of what I was quoted by other area plumbers. They are local and the owner Andy responds very quickly.

I've used Colby Plumbing on several occasions over the past couple of years and always had a pleasurable experience. Regardless of the size or scope, they've alway been attentive to my needs and gone out of their way to help out on short notice. It can be hard to find contractors you feel like you can depend on and trust, that's never been a problem with Colby. I highly recommend them!

It went well as it was a complicated job that was completed on time and to our satisfaction.

My disposal died a couple months ago. We called 2 companies before Colby. One didn't show up at all while another plumber tried to convince us that a lot more work needed to be done than was necessary. I really didn't want to try to tackle this project on my own, so I decided to give it one more shot and found Colby's number. Our plumber showed up exactly when he said he would and did only what was necessary to get the job done right. Very professional and friendly experience. A few weeks later we started a bathroom remodel and naturally called Colby. This time another one of Colby's plumbers showed up and we were a bit disappointed at first because we had such a good experience with the first guy, but luckily our first tech wasn't the only great guy they have working for them!
