Clearing Space is a personal organizing company that assists in downsizing, decluttering, and preparing for what comes next in life. We assist with home and office organization, packing and unpacking, prepping for estate sales, or clearing out a home after the death of a loved one. It’s very easy to accumulate “stuff.” Whether hidden or in plain view, piles can quickly overtake our spaces and feel burdensome. Moving feels like an overwhelming proposition. Luckily, we believe in the utility of things. This means we help you decide what’s most important to have with you, and find good homes for everything else. Let us take the burden out of your transition, whatever comes next.

When I moved into my new house and needed help clearing out all extra stuff that I accumulated and organizing all of my outdoor gear I called Clearing Space. I tried to do this on my own several times, but would lose steam when I found that I was just moving stuff from one pile to multiple other piles. Theresa not only helped me organize but also to setup a sustainable system to replace my “various pile” system. Oddly, I actually enjoy putting my gear away after a trip now!
