+ -1 moreThis was the most awful experience I've ever had with any company in my life. It was truly stressful and damaging to my family. Because of James' constant unfulfilled promises this dragged on for a year. The work he did is already showing signs of wear because it was done poorly and never finished properly. On top of it all he managed to break our sprinkler system and leave a huge trench in our front yard. Neither of which he fixed. We have banned him from ever stepping foot on our property.

+ -1 moreI had a terrible experience with Cherry Creek Hardscapes and I’m still dealing with them after a year and a half. I unfortunately made the mistake of biting on an under bid project and have paid the price ever since. The owner is rude, un-responsive and completely un-professional. He consistently failed to show up to scheduled appointments and completely ignored numerous voicemails and text messages when product deficiencies were brought to his attention. It took him over two months to eventually show up to review and attempt a quick fix to remedy these deficiencies. To go along with the lack of respect and professionalism by the owner, the actual product was even worse. I had a small stamped concrete patio, steps and walkway installed in my backyard. After less than a year, holes and cracks had developed. There are missed stamps and rough areas all over the patio. The stairs are uneven and exhibit poor quality throughout. The connection between my house and the patio wasn’t sealed at all. His inadequate attempt to remedy these problems consisted of some sanding and color sealing to hide the problems. The color sealing was done in small, random areas and the patio looks worse now than before. I’ve had three independent contractors review his work and every one of them concluded that it was done quickly and sloppy and is of extremely poor quality. In order to get the stamped concrete patio, walkway and steps that I contracted for, a complete redo is required. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and I hope that no one else will have to deal with Cherry Creek Hardscapes.

+ -1 moreI told them that they were the first company that I talked to and that I would be asking for additional bids. When they heard that I got another bid that was lower they went ballistic and stated harassing me. They send me several mean emails and phone calls over several days and I think they were very unprofessional.

Description of Work: Sent subcontractors for a couple parts of the project. Harassing, unprofessional emails where sent by James Cosme. He is responsive, but obsessive and emotionally unstable. Beware.

Description of Work: Cherry Creek Hardscapes is a scam. Please beware. They advertise heavily and come to your house with an independent sales person, who is a very good at filling your head with nonsense. In reality, this company is a one man operation run by a guy named James Cosme. Do your research and look into him. He has a dozen legal judgements against him, filed for bankruptcy under another company name and foreclosed on his house in 2006. Check out the Better Business Bureau and speak to any attorney and they can pull up past legal filings against James Cosme. I unfortunately didn't this before signing up with them for a $20,000 job because they seemed like nice guys. I gave them 50% up front six months ago and this guy hasn't come back in months. I have called and emailed numerous times and continue to get the run around. James actually had the audacity to tell me he was ripping people off by charging $30k for a firepit and therefore could do my job, which was reasonably priced. I don't know what kind of firepit costs $30k, perhaps it was gold plated. He has destroyed my house and refuses to return. I received an HOA violation for materials sitting in the front of my house for 4 months and asked him to respond with a timeline that I could provide to the township. Instead of professionally responding, James writes back (2 weeks later) by stating "sounds like your neighbor is a wiener". Perfect, thanks James, extremely helpful. This man is the furthest thing from a professional as it gets. He lacks integrity, morals, and respect for his customers, himself, and the people around him. Take a good look at his photos on their website. Half of these are not his work ( do a Google image search and you will see). He has even taken photos right off of the Belgard website and pawned them off as his own work. Do not get involved with this person. It has been six months and he has probably put in maybe 5 days of actual work. 80% of this project remains incomplete, and what was done is average at best.
