Champion Windows of Ft.Collins

Instead of 3-5 windows, we ended up replacing all of the windows in our house plus two doors. This was a big and costly project. While I am extremely satisfied with my new windows and doors, Champion leaves a lot to be desired in the areas of customer service and installation. Although the salesman said I would be, I was not kept informed about the status of my project, and instead had to call or email on my own for updates. At times it took more than one email or phone call to get a response. Rarely did I receive a same day response; it was usually at least 24 hours later. As for the installation, the window installers arrived the first day and worked until after dark. When they didn't return by the afternoon of the second day, I called the project manager to inquire as to when my windows would be completed. She seemed surprised and not at all pleased that the installers weren't at my home. About an hour after speaking with her, the installers arrived (3:30 pm). The one in charge was openly hostile, stating that he had told me the night before he would call when he was on the way, and that he had been on another job. His behavior was very unprofessional, as was the crew covering up the Champion name and logo on their shirts with painter's tape. If the installers had returned to complete my job before starting another one, they likely would have finished at a reasonable hour, but instead they were at my home until after 9 pm. It made for a very uncomfortable situation, because they were clearly angry. Also, one of my windows was installed with a missing drain hole plug. It still has not been replaced. The door installation occurred about two weeks later and while the crew was polite and professional, they damaged my siding while installing the Champion door and broke one of my brand new storm doors. Neither of which they repaired. I guess for the amount of money we spent on this project I expected better customer service and more professional behavior from the installers. That being said, the quality of the doors and windows is second to none and I am pleased with how they look and how they perform.

They were very polite and friendly. Answered every question I had. The young man who installed them was very nice. He was quick and they did a great clean up afterwards. Thank you Champion Windows.

Champion windows are superior to anything else I have seen. Day and night difference from my single pane windows. The salesman was very knowledgeable of the product, and was truthful. There installation crew was awesome. Old windows out, new windows in same day.
