Description of Work: Work on install of carpet was great. Some language barrier in communication with them. Their van left oil all over my driveway which I had to clean up. But install was good with great workers, even gave them a tip. As far as the sales, a different story. Felt like a bait and switch; we agreed on a carpet then at time of contract gave me the right color of carpet but wrote down a lesser grade carpet I agreed to a 62 to 68 oz weight and the gave me the 42 to 48 oz. A big difference. Not to mention that the price was only good till closing of that day. (What kind of company pulls that stunt?) Also we could not take a sample home to see how it goes with our furniture & paint scheme so we went to Lowes who also carries "Stain Master Carpets" and checked out a sample from them. Won't do business with Carpet Mill Outlet again and will not recommend them to others. P.S There is a color variance which looks like a seam where the carpet was stopped & restarted at the manufacture. According to the installer it should blend in after few times of vacuuming, but still there so far.

 + -1 moreThe installer showed up on time; but, my wife was concerned the whole time he was there. He took frequent breaks during which he appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Would re-enter the house and not remember where he was or where the job was. The actual work was fine, but after meeting him I was concerned about him being in the house as well.

I bought the materials and thought I already had someone lined up to do the work, but he ended up quoting me a very unreasonable estimate. Unfortunately, I could not return the tile, but when I spoke to the manager about my predicament -- being a first time homeowner and on a low budget -- he recommended a contractor that he works with personally who agreed to install the tile for me. I was very happy with the end result, and it took them less than a day to do both bathrooms. I love my tile and would recommend this store and the contractor again!
Description of Work: I was looking to replace the carpet that was in both my master and guest bathrooms. I wanted to replace the carpet with a durable tile. So I went to Carpet Mill Outlet near my house.

 + 1 moreI bought a bank owned house and wanted a total floor change. I quoted from home depot, empire today and carpet mill and chose Carpet Mill mainly because their low price offer. However, that turns to be a very upset experience, as they have quite a few hidden charges and finally I had to pay $3000 more. For example, 1. They won't tell you itemlized cost at the first place but will keep asking more money when you cannot quit. They said they did not charge me labor fee on the hardwood part, and then said they did not charge me the extra material cost, and then said they did not include the kichen refinish in the first quote. I hope I recorded all the conversations so I have the proofs that they broke their own promises. 2. They promised that they would finish the work within 1 month, but it actually took them more than 2 months to finish. I have to call them many times in order to get the work finished before X-mas.

 + 0 moreI have been very pleased with the work that Carpet Mill has done on installing my carpet. They did a good job of showing up on time. There was an error in the width of the carpet, but they are correcting that. We are going to have them back out to do some more rooms for us.
Description of Work: They installed new carpeting in four bedrooms, a hallway and a bathroom in my house.

 + -1 moreKEVIN FROM CARPET MILL DID A VERY DETAILED AND WONDERFUL JOB ON OUR STAIRS. THE STAIRS WRAP AROUND DIFFERENT THAN MOST STAIRS DO AND HE DID A VERY NICE JOB WITH THE DETAILS OF THIS JOB.
