The re-roofing was fantastic. We had 9 people and they did most of the replacement on a large complicated roof in one day. However, they are only good at re-roofing. The related tasks went poorly and were not well communicated. The insulation was not done the day of re-roofing as promised. Therefore, they had to bring a tube through the house and fill the attic through the single hole in the ceiling. They replaced/tuned two gutters, but the tune-up left us with a rusty gutter that still had a hole and another gutter that overflowed. Basically, they are good at roofing but do not ask them to handle any related service.
Description of Work: The contract stated remove wood shingles, put on new tri-laminate asphalt roof, blow insulation into attic from hole cut in roof, and tune the gutters.

Very mixed experience. Sales guy was fantastic (he quit mid-job). Sales guy was able to match a competitor's bid and save us thousands. He promised everything and anything. Job supervisor was awful. They started ripping off the roof and then he informed us that the insulation guy couldn't come for a week. They could not get a gutter repair company to return their calls. They did an amazing job on a complicated roof. They had lots of workers, all polite Mexicans, who worked long hours. Roofing was done in two days. However, the insulation was supposed to be inserted through a hole in the roof that morning during the re-roofing. Since the insulation guy was not available, the insulation had to be installed through the house and much less effectively. Very frustrating. They were supposed to replace, angle and tune the gutters but could not. They replaced two gutters but left two with rust holes (all the way through) and said they were done. Other gutters would not drain.Working with a great customer service agent (who quit), they eventually agreed not to charge us for the gutter work. Then they struggled to get the insulation company to complete the EXCEL energy rebate form. We wouldn't pay until all three parts of the job were done and we had a completed rebate form. It took months and got nasty. Conclusion: Hire them only for roofing. They do not have good relationships with sub-contractors (insulation, gutters). They can handle a roof, but that's all.
Description of Work: Replaced wood shake roof with Certainteed Triple Laminate Asphalt Shingles. Added insulation to attic. Supposed to "tune up" gutters, but failed.

I did not have Brickey do the work since I could never get them to commit to an actual estimate. They seemed to want to tailor their work (including things outside the scope) to the insurance estimate.
Description of Work: They seemed more interested in what my insurance company was going to pay. Even though I was requesting insulation above and beyond the insurance settlement, Brickey would never give me an actual estimate.

They are very good. They came in the morning at 11:30. They left with everything cleaned up and a brand new roof done in four and a half hours. Their personnel was wonderful to deal with. We were having bad weather so we had to put things off for a little bit. They always called. They were very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. I found nothing wrong. They were helpful in every stage.
