 + 0 moreMy experience was fantastic; they were exceptional. The owner was the one that worked so it was just person that I was dealing with the entire time. He used some sub-contractors, but only while he was here doing the work did the sub-contractors come in. There was only one person in-charge of the contract so it ran very smoothly and not with random people coming in at my house. He was a perfectionist and did nice and extremely professional work. I have already hired him for another project.
Description of Work: I used Bragdon Construction Inc to get my bathroom remodeled. The person that I dealt with was Mark Bragdon.

 + 1 moreI love working with Mark because he is practical, collaborative, creative, responsible, reliable, funny and immaculate in his clean-up at the end of every day. He encouraged us to re-use what we could; and to do what we could do ourselves (painting and "leg work"). Although we were out of our master bedroom during the project, we were never inconvenienced in our daily lives. The only glitches we encountered involved arrival of parts, and Mark always let us know what was going on and how it would impact our time. Along the way, he provided some suggestions for other easy, inexpensive updates and repairs, and helped make those happen. At then end of the projects, even after we had paid all the bills, there was still one piece of the kitchen light fixture missing. Mark stayed after the supplier until they provided the part and he could finish, completely finish, our job. Great experience. Great results.
Description of Work: Mark, the owner of Bragdon Construction, previously (2006) did a major remodel of our kitchen and great room. That project was so successful and beautiful that we asked Mark to bid on this 3-part project: to remodel the master and powder baths, and to install lighting fixtures in the kitchen and nook (which we did not update in our previous kitchen remodel). Mark's bid was considerably lower than the other 2 contractors we interviewed, and we knew from working with him before that he was responsible, reliable and creative. The master bath project included: replacing toilet, and shower, extensive tile work, new vanity, additional storage, light and plumbing fixtures, electrical and plumbing. Mark encouraged us us re-use our solid surface vanity top and bath tub since they were still in excellent condition. The powder bath remodel included: replacing toilet, new vessel sink, faucet, counter top, plumbing and electrical. This bathroom was quite economical since Mark suggested repainting the existing vanity and keeping the existing light fixture. The kitchen and nook lighting turned out to be fairly complicated because of the fixtures we had to choose because of vaulted ceilings in both areas. The results of all three projects were excellent.
