Description of Work: Big Bear Construction is best tradesmen I have ever employed. I live in a log house. The sill plate ( betw the foundation and the bottom log) was rotten due to water and insect damage. Demo revealed that some of the lower logs were similarly structurally unsound. They demoed all the rot, and replaced the necessary logs. The bid and contract were itemized in detail and adhered to in full. No extra charges were added and a discount was made for contracted work that, in the end, was not required. (They also did a bit of easy tree pruning with the chain saw.) Each day they cleaned up totally, adding an extra hour after the day's construction work was done. And unbelievably they not only emailed me on rainy days when they would not be coming...but they actually even put the toilet seat down. I would strongly recommend Big Bear to anyone needing a reliable, knowledgeable, thorough, and congenial crew.

 + -1 moreHe came out to give me an estimate on our deck. He looked at it and then never called me back with an estimate. I thought he was very young and did not have the maturity to call me back for whatever reason. He did arrive on time for the estimate.
