Best Service is an Oxymoron, this company is terrible. They came to look at my 6 month old Maytag washer, which isn't draining. I was first told it's the "bubbles" and that I'm using the wrong soap. Ok?? I guess Costo's Kirkland soap is causing the issue? Then the same tech comes back and says it's due to an imbalanced load, yet it happens with every load. Called and talked to management and they are supper combative. They are acting like there is nothing wrong with my unit (unbelievable). ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, DIDN'T RESOLVE MY PROBLEM, AND CHARGED ME $140 FOR A PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY! Look at all the 1 star reviews. This company is a total sham!
Description of Work: I needed to have my washer repaired. They claim it is working properly, but it has standing water at the end of each cycle (I have videos to prove it). Love the customer is wrong customer service. How are they in business?

Your location Map data ©2023 Google Terms 2 km Best Service Company Appliance Repair 1295 S Huron St, Denver, CO 80223 Appliance repair service chadsmedicalmassage Gollakner 558 points 2 days agoThe guy that came down his name was antone Bueno. We had trouble with this man as soon as he went downstairs. First off he refused to answer questions to my eighty year old mother. Is who is the owner of the wash machine. Secondly, when a replace two parts, we usually like to keep the old parts which she refused. Before he left he completely shut off one of the water valves. So we'd have a water air. Then he tried to crowd my mother on the stairs. Which she is handicap and has to crawl on all fours to get up the stairs. I literally had to stand between my mother and him. To make him wait till She got up the stairs. We only got two washes done until the water air started. At that time they were closed and not answering the phone. So I looked it up on youtube and got the machine unlocked. And sure enough you shut off the water on the left valve. Then the next day my mom called to make sure everything was working. The players said they canceled our tenure warranty with me tag. I called up maytech right way. They said he had no right to cancel the ten year wanting. I got the picture of the guy's name and the second one is the blank one. Is trying to hide his identity. People like this should be brought out to the light to show what kind of person they are.

Response from Best Service Company Appliance Repair
Thank you for leaving us your feedback. We'd like to address the concerns raised in your review based on our records and the information provided by our technician. The control board needed to repair your washer was on a factory backorder, causing the delay. We empathize with the inconvenience this may have caused, but this was something entirely out of our control. Our records and multiple conversations with you and your mother clearly indicate we were transparent about the situation, and we promised to notify you as soon as the part became available. Regarding the alleged behavior of our technician, we want to highlight that the safety of our employees and customers is of utmost importance. Our technician reported feeling unsafe during the service visit, which is deeply concerning. Our technicians are trained to act professionally and courteously, and we have complete trust in Antone's integrity and professionalism. As for the claims about the water valve being shut off – our technician did not touch the water valves during his visit. His task was solely to replace the control board. Additionally, had there been an issue with the water valves, the machine wouldn’t have completed a wash cycle as mentioned in your review. Your mother's call about the washer filling up with water twice was addressed, and we explained that the machine fills up once for washing and once for rinsing. We also want to stress that we never mentioned anything about voiding your warranty. It is not within our power or interest to cancel any manufacturer's warranty. However, due to the aggressive behavior directed towards our staff, we did make the decision to not return to the home or take further calls. We wish you all the best and hope you find a resolution to any ongoing appliance issues.

Best Service is the WORST!!! There were so many red flags that I should have picked up on before the service. I read the 5 star reviews, wish I would have read the 1 star reviews before using this company. I'm sure the manager will hop on here and leave a response that completely blames me for all of my concerns, taking no responsibility for his impatient manager, Monty and his repairman, Antone who was determined to replace the wrong part of my dishwasher. When I first called, I told the person on the phone that I got the dishwasher at Costco. I thought I had a warranty on it, but they told me I didn't. I checked through my email and I did in fact have a warranty. When the repairman arrived, he diagnosed the dishwasher for about 5 minutes and told me it was going to be $600 to fix, so he recommended just buying a new dishwasher. I stressed again that I had a warranty and showed him online that all I had to do was call and they would approve the claim instantly. He got on the phone with his manager, and I got on the phone with the warranty company. As I was on hold, I asked him to please wait so I could get the claim approved. The warranty I have allows me to choose a repair company and as long as the repair is less than 80% of the cost of the appliance, they will approve it and send me a check. The repairman, Antone, was on the phone with his boss Monty. Monty told Antone that Best Appliance won't work with my warranty company, so to leave. I wasn't asking them to work with my warranty company, I was asking them to wait for me to get the work approved so that I could pay and ensure a reimbursement from my warranty company. My husband was also in the room and understood what I was asking, but Antone was not listening and Monty was only interested in collecting his $160 service fee instead of being patient and giving me 5 minutes to get the claim approved so he could have his entire $600 repair paid instead. This company basically gets away with not doing repairs. They fund the company on sending out repairmen for $160...if they hit 10 houses a day, they make $1,600 without having to do a single repair. That's $200 an hour...much more than a teacher's salary in Colorado! When he left, I reached out to the manager Monty, and the owner Tom Hankins tomhankins@bscappliancerepair.com. Tom had no interest in providing customer service. I explained to him what happened and how I asked Antone to stay and complete the work. I just needed to get the claim approved. He sent me the recorded phone call where I told them I bought it at Costco and said that if I believed I had a warranty, I should have said something on the phone call. He then mentioned a follow-up email about the extended warranty. My warranty will cover a repair company of my choice as long as it is within 80% of the cost of the appliance. They offer on-the-spot approvals, I just needed to call them. Nobody at Best offered me the patience or time to get this done. Again (read above) they just go house to house for the $160 without completing repairs. In all of this, he believed me to be solely responsible for the $160, but offered an $80 'good faith' discount. I agreed to the $80; however, I was charged $85. This company cannot get itself straight. The final straw was learning that the repairman, Antone diagnosed the completely wrong thing. He put in his work order for part w11416362, which is $150-$200 part, Best Service was charging me $303. When the work was actually completed by a company that knew what they were doing, the part they replaced was w11414076 which is $140-$175 part. Monty's diagnosis, included 'feeling' the part humming. The actual repairman who fixed it, pulled the entire dishwasher out, plugged it into a bunch of different things, pulled out the bottom and did not just 'feel' around to determine what needed to be repaired. If you want a qualified company, I do not recommend Best Service. They run a scam company. Stay Away!

Response from Best Service Company Appliance Repair
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have reviewed our records of your repair to accurately address your concerns. To clarify, we pride ourselves on being transparent about our charges and the service process. This includes detailing the service experience expectations right from the first contact. As per our records, during the initial phone call, there was no mention of a service contract on your end. To ensure our commitment to clarity, we provided the recording of that conversation. We understand that during the service visit, you wished to get the repair approved through your warranty. However, our policy is clear that we do not bill third-party companies directly for our services. This is standard across our operations. The technician at your home was following our standard procedures when requesting payment for our minimum service charge, a fee that was discussed and you accepted during our initial phone call. Regarding our diagnosis: our quoted repair involves replacing the entire pump and motor assembly, part #W11416362. This approach, rooted in our experience and dedication to comprehensive service, ensures that not only the wash motor is replaced but also the drain pump, the diverter valve, and the pump base with hoses. This method aims to prevent potential failures of other components in the near future. The part you mentioned, replaced by another company, is simply the wash motor. Our approach is to provide a more complete repair solution for a minimal additional cost, ensuring dependable repairs with longer-lasting results. In an effort to find common ground and as a gesture of goodwill, we offered to reduce the minimum service charge by half, even in light of the complexities presented during the service visit. It's always our intention to provide the best possible service, and we stand by our policies and actions relating to the service we provided.

I was put on a "do not service" list and refused future service because I apparently left a bad review with Whirlpool. I don't remember leaving the bad review, but I am not surprised I did that considering I had a bad experience with a service technician that didn't know how to repair a problem and claimed that my fridge was working "as intended". He was rude and fought me, telling me that I was wrong and he knows better. I had to create a new service request and specifically request a new technician. The second technician solved the problem in just a few minutes. He even told me that the first technician is known for being rude. I thought that was the end of it. However, I just tried to get my dishwasher serviced and was called by the company and told that they will not be coming. Not now, not ever. I thought it was retaliation by the first technician, but a manager informed me that it was due to a bad review I submitted to Whirlpool. Instead of the company trying to do better, they chose to cut me off. This "best" service company is the worst....

What a disappointment. It took this company 4 visits and over a month to repair our dishwasher. On the initial visit, they couldn't diagnose the problem. On the second visit, they diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts to correct the situation. On the third visit, they installed the water line with a twist and crimp in the metal hose connector. Fortunately we were home that evening when we ran the dishwasher and it started to flood the kitchen. They ordered parts to repair the issue and we waited another 2 weeks for them to return. When they returned, they didn't have the replacement parts we asked them to bring (in case there was any damage to the metal hose). On that fourth visit, the technician was able to finally get the dishwasher working. Needless to say, we wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

They have been very good. They did a great job. It wasn't draining, the fellow came and he found out it was that my nephew had put in a new garbage disposal and he hadn't opened up something and that's why it wasn't draining. The fellow said oh this is an easy one and he fixed it and told us what was going on. It was a very inexpensive repair. The price was reasonable, there is always a service charge for showing up. I would use him again.

I had a recommendation for another company, but it turns out that they don't work in my part of town, so followed that company's secondary recommendation for Best Service Company. I scheduled online, received a fairly prompt phone call to confirm the schedule. The technician showed up right at 2PM (for a 2PM-4PM window time). I explained the problem, what I had diagnosed so far, and told him my suspicion was a circuit board problem with the control panel board. He agreed that it was the likely culprit. However, in diagnosing the problem, the technician simply found a broken wire going into a relay. So what I was sure was going to be a $500 job turned into 15 minutes and a $157 repair bill. Amazing! I am extremely grateful for them not taking advantage of me and selling me a new board when I didn't need one - which they could have done without me blinking. I would highly recommend Best Service Company!

We initially called a different repair company who charged us a $70 service fee, only to be told that they couldn't get the parts needed for repair because their technicians were not Whirlpool factory authorized. We verified that Best Service had Whirlpool factory authorized technicians before we made the appointment. It was a two step process. The first step was the technician troubleshooting the issue to find the defective part / problem. The second step was ordering and replacing the defective part / unit. Best service did a great job from beginning to end. This was a known issue caused by poor design of the Whirlpool 2013 French door refrigerator unit. The issue was the fresh food evaporator coil which has since been revised / improved. The total repair charge reflects the service fee, part and repair.

I was contacted the day before narrowing down the appointment window to 2 hours. Showed up as scheduled. Talked to me about scope & price, then completed repair on the spot within 30 minutes. I reserved providing this review until a suitable test run, dishwasher has performed flawlessly since repairs - good to go. Regards, Craig F.

Here is a company that truly lives up to its name. We selected Best Service Company because of the high ratings on Angie's List. From my first call, the BSC team was professional, proactive, responsive, and helpful. It was evident to my wife and I that this company was always looking out for our best interest. We cannot recommend them enough. Oh, and we finally have a new working dishwasher!
Description of Work: Repaired a recently-purchased KitchenAid dishwasher. Service included initial visit w/ diagnosis (arrived early), confirming parts/repair were under warranty (before leaving), ordering replacement parts (received promptly), returning to install parts and test machine (working perfectly). They also recommended what to use and not use in our specific machine i.e., liquid vs. pod.

My daughter purchased a Cabrio Whirlpool clothes washer about 3 years ago. It has performed well but recently the top lid became completely unattached. The lid is mostly glass mounted in a plastic frame. The back piece of the frame has a flexible plastic strip that is anchored back inside the top console. This plastic strip serves as the hinge so the top can be lifted to put clothes into or remove from the wash tub. It is very obvious design defect to have a flimsy plastic strip to support the weight of the lid that is mostly glass. The daughter phoned Whirlpool to have the lid repaired or install a new lid. She was told anew lid was needed but Whirlpool would not pay for a new lid nor pay for repair service. They do use a service company called “Best Service Company” in the Denver area. She could pay Best Service for a new lid and installation at her cost, or she could buy a one year warranty for $380, that would cover Best Service’s charges. She chose to buy the warranty and called Best Service, on December 17 for a repair date. The date given was Wednesday December 18. Later Best called back and said that they had to order the new lid and would call later to establish a new date. My daughter wasn’t there but her daughter took the call which said they could come between 8am and noon the morning of the 20th or 22; she could choose which. She chose Saturday the 20th. Due to all the calamity, I drove the 25 miles to her house early to help if possible. We waited until 10:30 and there was no call. Daughter called them to see what time the service man would actually be there. And if things weren’t outrageous enough, she was told no one would come on this date. Best also said they wouldn’t call again with a new date, but would e-mail her. Being her laptop is in for repair, she currently couldn't receive the message. I gave them my e-mail address and then drove the 25 miles home to write this message and blow of some steam. As of the date of this submision, the work has not been and no service date given.

The refrigerator is still under warranty so there was no cost to me. Jeff came out and he diagnosed the problem right. I needed a new motor fan which he had in his truck and did the repair. He waited until the motor fan kicked in so he could make sure there was no noise and everything worked correctly. Jeff was so efficient and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again and would hope that Jeff is the serviceman to come out.

The provider called ahead and was punctual. He diagnosed the problem as a kid sock that was stuck in a filter somewhere. He extracted the sock, fixed the part, drained the standing water, and put everything back together within 30 minutes. He also noted that we should get a small mesh bag for washing small socks to prevent the problem in the future. I thought the price was reasonable and he knew what he was doing. I would recommend them and will use them again.

Got on the Maytag repair website and scheduled the repair after first checking with Angie's list. The dryer had been making noises for several months and I had attempted to replace the drive belt myself but ended up with a completely inoperable dryer. Now my wife and I were leaving town and needed it fixed ASAP. The technician - Andrew - showed up early on a Sat and was completely familiar with what needed to be done. He had all the necessary parts which included rollers and pulley arm in addition to the required belt which is why the dryer failed after my botched repair - I only replaced the belt. Andrew explained why I may not want to invest beyond a certain amount due to the age of the dryer and fortunately the expensive motor was fine. A thoroughly professional and honest job, would highly recommend.

The appointment was scheduled in a reasonable period of time. The serviceman called the morning of the appointment to get some specifics about the dishwasher so that he could try to make sure he would have what might be the appropriate parts. He arrived early but telephoned to make sure the early arrival was convenient for me. The actual problem was very minor but he took time (without additional labor charges) to make sure it would not happen again. This was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to call Best Service Company in the future.

We had heard this excessive noise for a few weeks. Christopher found the problem when he took the lid off, & showed us: the plastic fasteners holding the control board to the washer wall had broken, presumably due to the control board being hit in spin cycle due to excessive amount of clothes being washed, so the control board had fallen off and was evidently being bumped repeatedly in the spin cycle. Since a new control board costs about $460, we agreed on an unorthodox solution: to fasten the control board back to the washer wall by two-sided tape. The washer has now completed a full cycle quietly. The entire experience with Best Service Co was superior, from initial contact, through being given a two-hour window, and his professionalism in talking with us & doing the job. Cost was $89.95 for service call, plus a half hour of work he said, totalling $154.95.
