From the start Fred said he would fix anything or problem. Once he had the money, he did not stand behind his word or customer service on anything. Blamed us for everything and he took no responsibility for the lousy installation and all the damage he did to our house. Another company worked with us but as they said, they have no control over their sub-contractor, so there you go, BEWARE OF BEST AWNING! Would not recommend these people to anyone.
Description of Work: Best Awning Company, (the also do business under another company name). Purchased two retractable awnings with installation from Best Awning. After 3 weeks, one of the awnings started to emit a loud squeaking noise. Further inspection revealed that the siding appeared to be pulling away from the house in the area of one of the support brackets. Fred Hewett, the owner stated that the problem was because we had left the awning extended in high wind conditions. We stated that we had wind data for the period of time since the installation that showed the wind speed did not exceed 13 mph during that period. He said he didn't believe it.
