I wasn't happy that upon our initial phone call we were immediately tried to be "up sold" before the technician even arrived. The individual on the phone told me that they only sprayed 3' off the ground when the coupon special clearly stated that they sprayed the eves as well. Once I pointed this out, and calmly stated that we would decide upon additional visits after the initial visit and our subsequent satisfaction, he backed off. I'm glad we moved forward because the tech was great! He sprayed everything, garage, house, even bombed the attic when we told him where the wasps were coming in the bathroom. Good job on the performance side!

We initially tried calling a different company (Beeline). We tried calling 4-5 times and never got through to a receptionist or anything. We left voice mails and used their online free estimate request service. We then found Berrett Pest Control and got through right away. The guy who answered was very helpful and didn't try to oversell. He actually pointed out a few options that were unnecessary for our situation and saved us some money. We were able to schedule the appointment about 4 days after I called (I called on a Friday and they came on Tuesday). On Tuesday our appointment window was from 5-7pm. Around 5:30 the technician, Dale, called me and said that he was about 20 minutes from my house. I greatly appreciated the heads-up so we weren't wondering if we'd be waiting until 7. Dale arrived right on time and came in and explained the whole process and what he'd do to help our carpenter ant situation. He quickly but thoroughly sprayed everything on the inside and outside of our home and was on his way.

I called asking for a quote for pest control services. Spoke to a very rude and sarcastic woman who didn't seem to believe I actually needed pest control services. She took my information and said someone would contact me but no one ever did. Needless to say I didn't call them back. Perhaps she was skeptical because my cell phone number is from a non-Denver area code, but they should realize that cell phones are portable and people often take them when they move.

Everything went very well. He even went out of his way to open up my BBQ pits and spray the wasp nests that were in there. I didn't even know they were there. Excellent service. The price is 89.00 for 3 months of service. A 5 star rating in my book.

They are terrible! The service never happened. Had it scheduled on Thursday - they never showed. Had it scheduled on Friday, never got a call. Scheduled on Saturday - no show. When I called, they said they had no record of my address (despite my having multiple email confirmations from them for each of the above days). They then put me on hold - after 40 minutes of waiting (literally), I hung up. Then on Monday, I called and they said they would rectify it - never heard from them again. Just absolutely terrible customer service....

They placed mice bait traps and sprayed for pests. The traps didn't catch anything but the mice seem to have gone away, maybe from the pesticide spray? Either way the problem was dealt with in a timely fashion. I initially had some communication problems as the technician never called ahead of time, or scheduled follow-up appointments, but my technician was changed recently and the new guy is much better.

We weren't pleased. They immediately starting calling our phone off the hook with a bait and switch and the girl said she had issues with Angie's List. I almost didn't go through with it. I made an appointment, it was on a week day, and they did not show. So then they gave us another date. This time a kid showed up and did a half hearted treatment. It was very non communicative. I'd ask him questions and he would nod or whatever. It was a horrible job.

He showed up right on time, he was very knowledgeable and knew what to look for. He reached his hand in fearlessly to investigate my situation but didn't find rodent hair or feces. He concluded that my problem was squirrels, which was a job which was out of his expertise. He had some suggestions to how I could deal with the situation on my own and was very helpful. He offered a refund and was very fair and reasonable. We agreed on $50 for the visit and consultation, a price I thought was well worth it. I am pleased to have found Berrett through Angie's List.

The service was on time and sprayed the affected areas. The ants swarmed in late March and were gone by the time the service was conducted. The ants have not come back. The service was professionally done. The business does offer periodic retreatments which we declined.

We didn't have termites! They drove through rush hour traffic and came to my house at a time that was convenient for me (6:00). The inspection was free, they were extremely polite and professional, and I felt no obligation to purchase other pest-control services. In addition, they're one of the few companies I called who do termites. I will call them if I ever have pest control issues.

The owner, RJ, personally came for the inspection and was timely, professional and knowledgable. He was honest and straightforward and answered all of my questions. Unlike his competitors, he did not up-sell me for other services or create a problem / need that didn't exist. I would highly recommend Berrett Pest Control!Sarah

They are currently doing my pest control. I do need to double check with them because they did setup a recurring service that’s for a year where they will be coming out once every 3 or 4 months and so I just need to double check that they are honoring that $99 for the first visit. The service itself was good. The guy was nice, personable and attentive. He let me know what was going to go on and gotten things in the mail with the calendar. They are definitely very good about making sure you understand that you’re signing up with the recurring and what that means and that you don’t need to be home. So they are very informative in making sure you have all the understanding that you need. He asked me what kind pest problems I was having. He was kind of tailored things to that information I gave him. They were very knowledgeable on what they were doing and they were very good at conveying that they don’t need to be let in to the house whenever they come back unless I’m seeing problems in the house. I haven’t seen any pests since they come out. Their price is very competitive.

We had ants before they came and their treatment was very effective. They also came when we asked them to.

I signed up for the service agreement for a full year (quarterly). After the first treatment in August, the technician suggested waiting a few days for it to work. After a little over a week, I called and asked them to come out again because the amount of insects didn't appear to have decreased (much). They came out, no extra charge and sprayed the entire house. Since shortly after that time, I have not seen many, if any, signs of insects in the house. Berrett has shown up on time, and been friendly, answered all my questions. I would recommend Berrett.

Great guy, very informative and he did a great job!

I cancelled the service at that point because my problem had already been solved, and I was not happy about not being given a choice. I suppose this is not unusual on Berrett's part, but that doesn't make it better from my point of view. I also wondered whether I had actually gotten a "deal" on the Angie's List offer since the regular charge seemed no more than I had paid for the Angie's List special. Berrett did, however, solve my problem and their service was to my satisfaction in all respects other than those I have mentioned.

They did fine. They called in advanced, they showed up on time, they asked if I needed any spray inside and if not they would just do the exterior.

I signed up for a Groupon. The appointment process was painless and appears to go through a central dispatch. The exterminator was on time and friendly. The pest control seemed to be effective, I have not seen an insect since.

After the service was performed I never saw an ant in the house again! Thanks so much!

I called and was given an appointment very quickly. They came to evaluate the situation and were able to take care of it in the same visit. He was very thorough and informative for us. We have only seen two live bugs and many dead, so it's working even now (September).
