Very professional. Alex and his assistant installed a new water after explaining the features of the different models that fit what I was looking for. They were able to "think outside of the box" to solve a problem, explaining to me each step. They included principles of chemistry in drain water and contact with specific water shield materials in their decision-making. They were friendly, personal, and considerate. And clean! Highly recommend.

Our family was having issues with black specks coming through hot water lines and into our daughters bath. We hired Benjamin Franklin and specifically Ilija came to inspect. He troubleshot the situation, provided a quote and eased my concern that a full hot water heater replacement may not fix the problem. He assured me it would with a guarantee. That alleviated my stress that the problem would be resolved and we proactively replaced an 11 year old heater.

Ben Franklin and Ilya have been consistently excellent in service and professionalism.

The rep told me I needed to replace my main line and quoted me $25K. I got two other quotes which averaged $9,300. One of the other reps, who came into my house for the quote, inspected the line and told me it was in perfect condition. He recommended installing clean outs for a third of the price of his main line replacement quote and recommended annual root maintenance. I will never work with Benjamin Franklin again, scare tactics and pricing on emotion.

Charges per job and a minimum job is 4 hours. My job took 30 minutes and I paid for 4 hours.

Mike Woods was lead on the plumbing project with help of two others. Superior job locating and repairing pipe leak in a wall. Mike and others were efficient, considerate and reasonably priced. Would welcome them in my home again.

Mike came and evaluated our drain in the basement, all cast iron, with metal sediment pooling in the drain to the sewer line. We had a lengthy discussion about chasing problems versus replacing the full line to where the prior homeowner replaced in 2015. We opted to not have to excavate our basement twice and fix the full sewer. Mike monitored the crew, answered any questions we had along the way. This wasn't a decision we made lightly, but we felt reassured and in good hands with the experience provided. The work was completed in three days and so far everything looks good, and we have the warranty to cover workmanship/parts anomalies. There is a reason we have the service plan with Benjamin Franklin, they might be higher cost, but the quality is there. I prefer the use of a price list any day over the pay by hour route hands down. Also, the lawn was left in very good condition considering a crane was sitting on it! I am very happy with the peace of mind that Mike/Benjamin Franklin's provided!
