On July 19 we purchased a dishwasher at Appliance Factory on University Blvd in Centennial. We arranged install on July 30. On the the 30th we waited and they never showed so we called at 6PM. The guy claimed the dishwasher was installed. He said the paperwork showed it was done. He said someone would call early Friday with more information. No call by noon the next day so I called .The lady whom I talked to explained the reason they didn’t do the install is there was an inventory error and it wasn’t in stock. I said they should have called and told me this and the lack of communication frustrates me. The lady said they are working on finding a dishwasher or a comparable model. I didn’t receive a call the rest of the day so I went to the store at 5PM. The guy pulls up the model I ordered and then says “I don’t know why they told you it’s not in stock. There’s several in stock.” He looks further to say they have to be released. He said only a manager can release them so that’s why they were unable to install. It doesn’t explain why a manager couldn’t release it on Thursday. While in the store a lady walks over and said she was the person who I talked to when I called at noon. He points out to her how several of these dishwashers are in stock but they have to be released and only a manager can do that. She takes a look and says “Anyone can release them” and does it but I’m confused and am getting so many stories. At noon she told me they didn’t have any in stock and never called me with an update. The guy tells me I can take it home I have no way to transport it or install it. He said he can schedule an install. He tells it’ll be awhile before they can do an install. I waited 11 days for the initial install after purchase. Due to their error I figured they’d put us at the top. Then they said “We can install it August 10th”, another 10 days out. I can’t believe this after the mistake they made. I told the guy I had already waited 11 days, they made a mistake and did not show up, I should go to the top of the queue and get the install done ASAP. I explained to him that we will be out of town on August 10th, so won’t be here for the install. He then said “When do you go out of town?” It should not matter since we needed it done ASAP. He let me know since it was end of the day on Friday and none of the management is in on the weekend that we’ll get a call first thing Monday and they will try to do an earlier install. He said they can try for Tuesday, the 4th. I told him either they install by the 4th or I’m cancelling. He said they’d call early on Monday. Monday arrived and I didn’t receive a call. At noon I called and the guy said he would have to check on it and will call me right back. He called in a few minutes and said “I see you’re already scheduled on August 10th.” I explained again I am out of town on August 10th. I told him I’d like to cancel the order. He said he will and will email me a receipt showing the refund to my credit card. He said he’d send it in the afternoon but he never did. I drove to the store at 6PM. He immediately handed us the receipt showing the refund. While discussing the cancellation the salesman who sold us the dishwasher explained the one they had in stock was found to be damaged so could not sell it. If they had several in stock a they should have provided us with one of the others. We had so many stories of what went wrong so it’s hard to believe who if anyone was telling the truth. The refund was issued on August 12. We went to Lowe’s and were able to purchase a dishwasher. Even though they told us they were 2 weeks out they called in just a couple days and completed the install in less than one week. This is the worst experience I ever had with a company. There’s no communication and they tell you many stories. They made many mistakes and did nothing to try to correct the problem and treated us poorly They are very incompetent.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: I bought a GE dryer from Appliance Factory on Santa Fe Dr. It leaked natural gas from day one, and Xcel inspected it and said it was a major safety hazard and had been installed with the wrong materials. Three months later, GE has send its tech three times and it still doesn't work. The store won't do a refund or an exchange, and even refused to help moving and installing another dryer to get us through until the tech can come out the fourth time. This has been going on for three months now, and I'm seriously considering taking the $600 dryer to the junkyard just to be done with these people.

If you can purchase anywhere else, even for a bit more money, do! Three weeks ago we purchased a kitchen Range, under cabinet microwave and dish washer. The microwave and dishwasher were in stock and delivered in a week. The range was on back order and the promised delivery in 2 weeks (Friday). Well, Friday came and went with no communication from anyone at Appliance Factory. Upon calling them (several times) they stated they were "doing everything" to help us out, which is hard to believe since they wouldn't call us back. After spending 3 days calling them, they finally said delivery would happen a week later. UGH! We had contractors coming in to do more work that required the range to be here, so aside from not having our kitchen for who knows how much longer, we now need to cancel our appointments with other contractors until an unknown date because we can't rely on Appliance Factory to deliver. They have a "Presidents Hotline" I called several times, thinking we might just be dealing with a bad group of sales folks, but not so... Still haven't heard back from anyone on the "Presidents Hotline" either that or nobody in the organization cares. Had I known, I would have spent hundreds more somewhere else. This has been a complete disaster.
Description of Work: Non-responsive - Still waiting on delivery of our appliances. Don't care about the customer, only care about your $$. They act like they care, will sweet talk you and tell you they are doing everything they can, but in reality they don't care one bit about their customers. Hopefully some day we will get our appliances we paid so much for, and hopefully we don't have to go to court.

We had good references for the Appliance Factory Outlet: Warehouse about their customer service and the prices. They are wonderful. We couldn't take delivery on our appliances right away until we had some remodeling done and they were just always so accommodating in every single way to make our experience good. Their prices were fabulous and all of the people were wonderful.

Response from Appliance Factory Outlet: Warehouse
We have no history of this customer and we don't sell appliances. I think they have the wrong company.
