What a miserable experience. I used Angi to get an A/V guy to my house. I text him yesterday (12/29) and all was good. He was supposed to be here today (12/30) at 11. He doesn't show, so I try to reach the tech - his phone is disconnected. I look in my account and a new guy was assigned and would be here at 11:00 - by 11:30 no new guy. Angi didn't inform me of the new guy, of course. I talk to somebody in the call center and they put me on hold then disconnect me. So I get into a chat session with somebody named Jenny - I have to tell her the same thing over and over again until she finally understands what I am trying to tell her. I finally give up and ask for compensation - I had re-arranged my entire morning for the tech visit. Jenny tells me that is against policy. So, nobody shows up, I waste part of my morning, and nobody tries to solve my problem? And there is no compensation for this major inconvenience? I am finished with this Angi clown show.
