Amish Cabinets of Denver

Working with everyone at Amish Cabinets of Denver was a wonderful experience. Andrea was able to provide a quick quote with drawings after visiting our home and taking measurements. My husband and I really like hickory cabinets, but most of the pricing that we had received was extremely expensive. Imagine our surprise that the Amish Cabinets of Denver quote for hickory cabinets was by far the most affordable. It was really fun to sit down with Andrea and Allison in their showroom to select the door style, stain, crown molding and hardware that we wanted to make them truly customized to our taste. Rolando and his crew were very careful during the tear out and completely cleaned up the debris afterwards. When they came back to do the installation, they did an amazing job. The cabinets are absolutely gorgeous, and we couldn't be happier with the quality. Just to demonstrate what an outstanding value these cabinets are, we received a quote from another company for ready-to-assemble cabinets made in China. For just a bit more money, we were able to get cabinets from Amish Cabinets of Denver made to order by craftsmen in the USA from locally sourced hickory. We are extremely pleased with our choice and would recommend Amish Cabinets of Denver to anyone who is considering a kitchen remodel.

It was a mediocre experience. The lady was very professional and friendly when she came to take measurements for the master bathroom in addition to a couple of other bathrooms. However, she only followed up with plans for the two smaller bathrooms instead of the master which was what I really wanted.

It was good, they measured my kitchen, they put a plan together and by the time it was down on the bottom line, it was very expensive and I went in a different direction. They were fine, they just wanted to do way more than I was willing to do. As long as you want a high end cabinet, they're great.

Very Well! Andrea is easy to work with for design options and a great listener. She made suggestions on wood choices, door designs and hardware, but did not push me in any direction. The cabinets are made in Indiana, so Amish Cabinets sends shop drawings to them and Almish Cabinets of Denver transports the cabinets and installs everything. We are really enjoying our new kitchen, master bath and family room - beautiful and extremely well-made!!

The maintenance of the air conditioner was fine. However, the company should have told me that the thermostat was not in a good place (mounted on an outside wall) before replacing the old thermostat. It took another company to let me know that the thermostat needed to be moved, as the readings were really coming from the garage. Seems that Save Home Heat should have noticed this.

They were awesome, everything is customized to my kitchen. Their prices were very competitive. You get a lot of extras with them that did not cost me extra, a lot of bang for your buck.

We are very pleased with our experience with Amish Cabinets of Denver. They worked with us to design exactly the cabinets to fit into our master bath remodel plan and they had several suggestions for features that made our cabinets more useful for us. For example, they built one set of drawers in each cabinet (we have two banks of cabinets, his and hers) to include an electrical outlet so that we can leave hair dryers, shavers, etc. plugged in while in the drawer -- just open the drawer, grab the hair dryer and use it, without having to stop and plug it in and without having a dryer lying around on the counter all the time. The quality of the cabinets is excellent. We chose solid cherry. Andrea helped us choose a finish that would match the woodwork already in the master bedroom. When first installed, the cabinets looked much too light, but over the next couple of months the wood darkened naturally, just as she said it would, and the final coloring is perfect. We had one problem during installation, when it became apparent that one in-wall cabinet (like a medicine cabinet) had been measured incorrectly, resulting in a cabinet that was too small for the hole in the wall where it was to fit. Lee and Joe took care of the problem, having a new cabinet fabricated with the correct dimensions at no additional charge. We were concerned that custom cabinets would be much more expensive that our other options. I am sure we could have found cheaper cabinets off-the-shelf at Home Depot, but they would likely have required us to alter our overall bathroom design to fit the cabinets and they would not have looked nearly as good as these nor would they have come close to these cabinets' quality. We looked at a couple of cabinet stores that deal in "semi-custom" as well as off-the-shelf cabinets and found that the Amish custom cabinets actually cost less than the factory-made cabinets we priced out. In case you are wondering, the "Amish" in the name is not just a marketing gimmick. Andrea, Lee and Joe provide the design and do the measurementing here in Denver, then send the specifications back to a group of Amish farmers in Indiana who build the cabinets as an adjunct to their farming. When the cabinets are ready, Lee or Joe drives back to Indiana to bring them back here for installation. All in all, it was a smooth operation resulting in a first-class product for our remodel project.

We discovered Amish Cabinets at one of the big home shows in Denver. We were planning a kitchen remodel, and looked at MANY different cabinet companies, from DIY to custom. Clearly, there is a big price difference in that kind of range, so as we got various bids on our project, we suspected that Amish would come in on the high side, as their cabinets are custom-made by Amish carpenters. We were delighted to see that their bid was about in the middle of all the bids we received. We spent many hours, mostly at their showroom, designing our kitchen and looking at samples and colors. Andrea is a whiz at the computer design program, so we could see right away on her screen how a certain option might look. She had many photographs of other kitchens they had designed, and was never rushed, and always enthusiastic! She also printed out a few of the designs so we could go over them at home. They had suggested we take pictures of our existing cabinets and what was inside them, so that we could understand what things were most important - what we needed room for and access to on a daily basis, what items are only brought out a few times a year, etc. We were also able to take a few sample doors home. Once our order was placed, they stayed in touch with us as to its progress and delivery dates. When the cabinets arrived, the installation went like clockwork. They returned once or twice to make some minor adjustments once the whole project was complete. The cabinets are just gorgeous, and a testament to the quality of the Amish workmanship. Lee, Andrea, Joe and everyone else at Amish Cabinets were wonderful to work with, and we couldn't recommend them more highly. Our kitchen is so beautiful now, we can never move!!
