I contacted Marco based on high ratings on this site. He answered the phone on the first attempt. We set up a time for him to come out to give me an estimate. He showed up right on time!!!!!!!! His estimate was the most reasonable of the three separate companies that I had bid the job. So I gave him my business on the day he came out for the estimate. We arranged a date for the work to start that was several weeks out due to my limited schedule, not his. He arranged for someone to come out and mark the utilities a few days prior to our scheduled start date. He called the morning of the start date, showed up on time and completed the work in the two days that he had promised. His company's workmanship is excellent. Everything was done exactly as planned. Crew cleaned up after the completion of the job. Wonderful experience, I would highly recommend his company.

We appreciate that the owner did the work himself without subcontracting. He was actually the primary workman on the job. My husband was amazed in the manner that he worked. He was very quick to finish the job, but it was definitely executed correctly and efficiently. We were very pleased with the end product.

Fantastic - Marco and his team were efficient, affordable and very friendly. Quote was cheaper than other competitors but the quality was amazing. I literally have the nicest fence on the block...actually the neighborhood.

My experience with Americo Fence started a little slow. They didn't respond to my online inquiry for almost a week. Based on my experience so far, very few of the contractors on this website handle the email and internet traffic well. Marco did promise that he and his company would improve in this area. I recommend just picking up the phone if your job and time allow. Once the representative and I did finally make contact the experience was better than I had hoped. I have a very difficult schedule to work with and needed to have my estimate done very early in the morning. Marco accommodated my needs without hesitation. If he said he would be somewhere at a specific time… He showed up on the DOT!!! The fence is up, on time and on budget. The gate is perfect and I couldn't be happier!

They are great in all aspects. I wanted them to put a fence in a way that I wanted but they did not. They didn't tell me why but their work matched well with my other fences. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Americo did a terrific job. Their pricing was reasonable. They did the work promptly and professionally. All my neighbors complement my fence. Also, they don't put those stupid advertising signs on their fences unlike all the other companies! I highly recommend Americo.

No response to Angies List Request for Quote or telephone message I left; both over 4 weeks ago.

Americo Fence -- Marco was responsive and promptly came to the house and gave us a firm estimate on the spot and described in detail what he would do and how he would do it. We took advantage of the 'free gate' via Angie's list. Marco's estimate was substantially lower than two other companies that provided estimates. He worked with us to set a date for the project and arrived promptly on the apppointed date. Marco and his crew were efficient, skilled and plesasant to work with. They only took two days to replace approx 300 ft of 6-foot privacy fence and install a new gate. He also took care of pulling the permit. Day 1 they removed all the old fencing, set posts for the new fence and hauled all the old wood away. Day 2 they finished the job - installed the pickets and the new gate. A beautiful job and we are very happy with our new fence. I highly recommend Marco and his company. They are very professional. Building fences is all they do and they are very good at it and offer excellent results for a very good price.

After providing an estimate, and after getting other estimates, we chose Americo Fence to do our repairs. Marco and a helper arrived on time and went right to work. They dug out the old cement that held up the old posts and put the new ones in with fresh cement. They got the fence up and replaced the broken pickets (5 or 6) and put new caps along the entire top of the fence (about 64 ft). They were very professional and worked very quickly without compromising on quality. The whole job took them about 2.5 hours and that included clean-up. It would've taken days for my neighbor and I to do it. Very happy with the work done. The wood they used was also very good quality.

I called Marco, he was able to come out the next day to provide a quote, which I thought was a very fair price. He said he could have done the job right then but he didn't have a post big enough for the size gate I wanted. He told me the day he would be able to complete the job, called that day to let me know he was on site and working, finished very promptly with a high quality product and left the work site very clean.

Marco from Americo Fence was the first fencing contractor to return our call; he called the day after we had left a message. (We had left messages for three other fencing companies also highly rated on Angie's List, but only one other company called us back). Marco gave us an accurate estimate of when they would be able to get to us (within a week). He and his helper came at a conveniently arranged time and completed the work very quickly--in under 90 minutes they dug out three concrete bases to rotted wooden 4x4 fence posts, poured new concrete bases, installed the posts, reinstalled the existing fencing, and repaired several broken wooden boards in the gate to our back yard. We would definitely use their services again should we need to.

I called Americo and set a date to receive an estimate for a fence repair. On the agreed-upon day (a Friday), I never received a call to let me know what time to meet the contractor. At the end of the day, I called him back and left a voice message. I never received a call back. On Monday, I called again and left another voice message. I still have not heard back and would not now use this contractor even if he did call me back.

This contractor never responded to my requests for an estimate. Sent him an internal Angie's List email and no response, ever. I wouldn't use this contractor.

I called Marco to set up a time to meet him at my property. I had to reschedule 2 or 3 times for various reasons. Marco was always very prompt in getting back to me each time. He and his crew did a great job on my fence! They were mindful of my neighbor's yard, where the fence was dividing our properties. They also did a nice job cleaning up when they were done. Marco is a very nice guy, and I would hire Americo Fence Co. again in a heartbeat!

Requested an estimate about a week ago, they are very punctual and easy to get a hold of. Estimate was within the price range we were willing to spend, and so we hired them. Very glad we did. Fence looks great! Did the job quickly and very professionally! Worksmanship is outstanding! Highly recommended, would definitely hire them again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Americo managed this complicated collaboration of properties and various budgets extremely well, and bent over backward to assist us all with payment plans by setting up a Paypal credit card account so that 2 properties could pay by credit card. He was extremely professional and courteous throughout the project. They kept the yards as clean as possible during demolition of the existing fences and the installation. All 4 property owners are very happy with the final result. I would highly recommend anyone to use Americo for their fence project!

I'm not even sure how to begin....I was so extremely pleased with my experience with Marco and Americo Fencing that I am at a loss for how to put it into words that do him and his company the proper recognition that they deserve. We had a 6' privacy cedar fence put around our entire property and a picket fence wrapping the front yard including four gates and two arbors. When I called Marco initially it was during the busy summer, yet he was able to come out to my home the next day to give me an estimate. I had two other companies come out and speak with me and they were all right around the same dollar amount, but Marco seemed to understand my vision better than the other companies, and based on Marco's past stellar Angie's List reviews I decided to take a chance and go with him. What a blessing that I did! Marco is kind, detailed, passionate about his work, and most importantly for me......patient and flexible! I "sort of" had a vision of what I wanted the fence to be, but could not really put it into words. Marco seemed to understand and work with me on finding my vision. He went above and beyond what I believe any other company would've done. He custom cut caps to put on each and every post on my picket fence. He custom built us two arbors that enter into each gate to the privacy fence area. He recommended a landscape company for my concrete and landscape work and then communicated with them and worked around them or waited until phases were completed with landscaping and then would come back and finish what he needed to after they were done. He even stained my entire fence (and there is A LOT of fence) natural for me to help protect it from the elements and to add extra years to my investment (and I know this to be about a $700 value). Marco was always responsive when I called by either answering or calling me back within an hour. We are so pleased with his beautiful work and his work ethic, we have hired him to now build us a custom storage shed in the backyard when his fencing jobs slow down a bit. This is now the sixth review I've written on Angie's List, and this review was by far the hardest I've had to write because I want to make sure that I do him and his team justice and fully express my gratitude and complete satisfaction with the finished product. Do not hesitate to use him, it will be the best decision you could make! Thank you to Marco and his crew for a job very well done!

called to setup an appointment for an estimate. during the estimate we walked through the yard and discussed features and materials and took measurements. Looked at the portfolio (pictures) of the companies previous work. received a quote at the end of the estimate appointment. I called back and discussed some different fence materials than the original quote and was given a new quote. We agreed and setup a time to do the work. They showed up on time to do the work and took about 2 days to do it all, even working through some rain showers. They asked lots of questions of how i wanted the fence to make sure everything was right. The asked about property lines and which way I want the pickets to face (face my yard or the neighbors yard) and even how to deal with plants and bushes that had overgrown the previous chainlink fence. They asked about the style and spacing of the pickets in the 4ft fence in the front yard which was more for decoration than fencing in the yard. the finish product was perfect. everything was straight and level, and some odd angles / sections of the yard were matched well to the main sections of the fence. gates work perfect. the yard was left clean, no evidence of any constuction materials or trash.

Called to get an estimate on building a new fence on our property, was told he would call us back the following week to schedule a time to come look at our property then never heard back from him. Ended up using a different contractor. Update: After I left my report on Angie's List, I did get a call back from Americo apologizing for not returning our call and he was happy that we were able to find another contractor to build the fence. I appreciate the effort on his part to make this right.

So far everything seems to look good. They did a good job. They were prompt, and their price seemed superior to everyone else that had gave me a quote.

We live on a very busy street near a bus stop and wanted to replace an antique wrought iron fence with a privacy fence to create a quiet backyard environment for our family. I called Americo Fence and Marco came out to provide the estimate. As a woman I worry about dealing with pushy contractors, but Marco is easy to work with and understood what type of fence we wanted. His price beat all the competition who were the pushy people that I don't like. My husband worked from home during the two days Marco and Armando were here. My husband said they were very hardworking. A bad storm blew in and they took cover, but came back out and worked even when it was raining. They are incredibly nice men and very honest. We have a very cute old house and this fence has dramatically upgraded it's appearance even more. Our house looks gorgeous with our beautiful new fence!
