Amazing Moves Moving & Storage

This company was wonderful: professional, prompt, careful - I will use them again and I highly recommend them!!!!

They arrived as planned and were very friendly and professional. I was paying by the hour since this was a small job. I was not expected this, but they literally ran between loads to save time. For a regular move, where you're not paying by the hour, I would tell them they can take their time and go more slowly. However, nothing with the furniture or home was damaged even though they were working at lightening fast speeds.

These young men were fast and efficient, organized and well mannered. There was a definite leader, Daniel, who was very organized in his approach to the job. They ran back to the truck after every trip into the house. There were only a few minor scratches on door jambs where the furniture barely fit through. In one instance they took off the doors to get the furniture into the room without making any marks. The only casualty of the move was a vase that fell off the truck accidentally, no worries, it was from my ex-husband. (Probably needed to go to goodwill anyway!!) All-in-all, a fine move. Thanks!

The crew that Amazing Moves sent was great. Scheduled to arrive at 8:00, they rang the bell at 7:59. They hustled (ran, actually) into and out of our house the whole time. Near the end you could tell they were tired, but they never let that slow them down as they moved boxes and furniture. They moved huge oak desk and a HEAVY elliptical workout machine without much trouble. They had some tight corners to navigate and only one wall got a minor blemish during the entire move (a mark easily covered by touch up paint). The only quibble I have is that when I was quoted the price, they did not tell me that I would be charged for the drive time to our house and back to their shop. They worked for 7 hours, but I got charged for 8. I don't know if this is an industry-standard practice, or if I got taken for a ride, but I will definitely ask the question before hand the next time and probably choose movers with a base of operations closer to our house...

This company is indeed AMAZING. The guys arrived early and were professional. They actually ran in between the truck and the house when they were going back for another arm-load. They charge by the hour, so that was impressive to see them keeping running back and forth. Their hourly rate was as competitive as others. Very good guys, respectful of our belongings and house, they know what they are doing, and it is well worth the money - you won't regret it!

The movers arrived promptly at 8am as planned and walked through the move with me. I had tagged items with different color flags to indicate destination. They were cool with this. The guys literally RAN to and from the truck. They were careful, professional and pleasant. We had thunder storms, hail and snow that day. They worked around the weather to minimize tracking in the house. They laid plastic and paper to protect the floors. I highly recommend Amazing Moves and would use them again in a heartbeat. The only minor hiccup was that the information I provided on the walkthu did not get to the crew on moving day. Having said that - it did not make a difference - the crew was ready for anything!!

They were amazing. So understanding when we had to move the dates of our move. Their office staff (esp. Jessica) were amazing. And the movers themselves were incredible. Fast, efficient, reliable, hard working. Once again, Angie's List led me to the best. I would use them again and recommend them whole-heartedly.

I loved these guys. They showed up right on time and started packing then loaded everything into two large PODs. They were very professional, careful and hustled every minute. They even called an extra guy to help with the loading and finishing the whole job in just under nine hours.

The movers were prompt, courteous, very efficient. The furniture was moved into other rooms in the house that did not have wood floors and they were very careful not to scratch or knock anything over. When they came back they turned the carpets as requested. There was one little problem but the owner, Marshall got right on it and took care of it! Hire them - they are professional at what they do!

No issues, just a pleasure to work with - they even went above and beyond the call helping me put some window security bars up above the rafters in the garage.

They did a great job. They were very nice young men, they showed up on time and we are very happy with the job they did.

They are really great. They worked very hard and they were very careful. There are five men and two trucks. They would take a box out to the truck then run all the way back to get the next box; they must have cut our time bill in half.

Moving day is always a stressful time and AMAZING MOVES removed all the anxiety Right from the start, I knew that AMAZING MOVES was going to be a great company to work with. When I first spoke to the receptionist, it was obvious that I was calling a reputable, professional, company. She was friendly, bright, courteous, and very knowledable. She made the very first ?Good Impression? and from there on it was an UPHILL delight! Marshall Aikman, one of the owners, came to our home for the estimate. He personified the ?professional Company owner profile? to a T. He instantly made us feel at ease during this stressful time and he was efficient, polite, and smiled all through the estimate. After moving to and from 11 residences in 3 states, this move was by far the most professional and efficient of all. From the moment the sparkling clean red trucks arrived there was no doubt in my mind that we definitely made the right choice in hiring AMAZING MOVES. The men were in uniform, conscientious, quick, honest, very strong, and worked in perfect unison together.. The crew had a great attitude and worked hard. They did not take brakes, even though I thought they should have sat down once or twice. There were many trips up and down the stairs and they always had a smile and a kind word. I would recommend them highly. In fact, I already have. We had a large move, combining two households into one and these men worked tirelessly the entire time. The entire household of our large home was moved into Amazing Movers storage. I did most of the packing of boxes, but they packed most of my lighting fixtures, mirrors and artwork. They took extra special care of my antiques. We have a number of items with great sentimental value. They handled each item with respect and used lots of Padding & plastic wrap. I felt secure that all of our items were safe. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and would definitely use them again for my next move. They deserve the highest rating that anyone can receive. I got Amazing Moves from Angie's List (of course) and based on their good reviews I called to get an estimate. The first person I spoke with was Sarah, and this woman is so precious, so sweet, so nice and helpful, they could have quoted me my weight in gold and I probably would have hired them. She forwarded me to Lucas, who was extremely helpful, nice and accommodating. He quoted me a price, WAY below my weight in gold, which was great and we scheduled the move. The day before the move, I was in a mess. We had closed on our new townhome, but there was a problem with the keys and two days after we closed, we still were not in our new house. I had to call Amazing Moves to see if I could reschedule and even though I am sure it was an inconvenience to them, they could not have nicer or more helpful. We rescheduled the move for the next week and by Monday morning, I was ready for them. Robbie (Robby?) and Dave showed up not only promptly, but slightly early, but not inconveniently so. They were about 5 minutes early and I thought that was great. These two guys, certainly earned the title of Amazing. I expected the Incredible Hulk, Dave was tall and slim, Robby was just slim and I had nightmare visions of these two rather small young men getting crushed under my 6 foot long, 300 lb. dresser. These guys were so strong, my mouth was open in awe as I watched them muscle 300+ lb. pieces down stairs and up. I still cannot believe it. They were also, cheerful, kind, helpful, polite and professional and performed the entire move without a scratch, a dent, a bump. They were careful and respectful. They completed the move in just over two hours and we were thrilled. What amazed us is that they ran everywhere up the stairs down the stairs, to their truck and back. Speedy, respectful and professional. Thanks guys! I would recommend you again and again.

Beyond my expectations. The two movers assigned were punctual, efficient, careful, and considerate. The whole process took a significantly shorter time than I had expected.

They were punctual. They were also fair in their pricing. All around, they were excellent.

Team Arrived as scheduled, prepped items well for move, and proceeded with move at a reasonable pace checking in as required. Crew was equally effective at the far end and took great care of our stuff. I barely have a dinged wall to sow for it. Price was comparable to other movers for 3 movers and a 24 foot truck.

These guys were amazing - seriously - Amazing! We've had a lot of experience with movers, having moved 4 times over the last 7 years. They were professional, courteous, hustled their tails off and made our move very pleasant.

From my first phone call, everyone at Amazing Moves was professional and friendly. They accomodated a last minute change in day/time due to my home closing being moved. They happily came out on Christmas Eve to perform the work - this is definitely above and beyond. The 3 guys that unloaded the trailer we friendly and FAST. It amazed me that they would run back to the trailer for the next item to unload. They completed the work in less time than I could have imagined. I would definitely hire them again...in fact, I have them scheduled to complete the rest of my move this upcoming weekend.

Prior to making a local move, I called 3 moving companies (found on Angie's List) for estimates. The estimates ranged from $2,500 to $3,200. Based on our overall impression of the company we chose the most expensive estimate from Amazing Moves ($2,800-$3,200). Having made our selection we scheduled a two day move. A day for packing and a day for moving. The Amazing moves crew did a great job and upon completion gave me an invoice for close to $5,500. Needless to say I was floored. Trying to stay within a budget I assumed the estimate may run closer to the high end of $3,200 but never in my wildest dreams did I expect a bill for near double. The crew Foreman made a call to the office and then told me $3,500 would be ok--someone may be calling to discuss the situation in a day or two. Approximately one month later I received a call from Padraic (the man who did the estimate), he apologized for the horrible estimate but asked that I pay more anyway. His idea of fair was an additional $1,200 in excess of the $300 extra I had already paid. Keep in mind that all three moving companies came in at around the same bid so I found it hard to believe how much more Amazing Moves was demanding. That in itself was an Amazing Move. I have yet to pay the extra $1,200 although Padraic continues to email asking that I pay-up. In fact, his last email was more direct and added a component of legality. Here is the email as received: "Randall, The estimate was a non-binding estimate. We will need to work something out for the $1200. I believe we are legally entitled to collect for the full amount. I compromised with $1200. Sincerely, Padraic". So in the end I am to believe that Padraic is doing me a favor by asking for just $1,500 over the bid instead of the full $2,500.

I needed to move from an apartment to a townhouse not far away. I contacted Amazing Moves because I found them here on Angie's List. From the very first conversation, the customer service and attention I received was great. On the day before the move, I received a call to let me know that I was on the schedule for 8 AM the next day. At 7:45 AM on Saturday, Patrick, Chris and Stevon showed up, ready to go. The move took about 2 hours, nothing was damaged, everyone was courteous. It couldn't have been easier.

Everything was good. Workers were energetic, fast, and careful.

We contacted the company with a request to have two moving specialists assist with the unloading of moving van. The contents included heavy wood shop machinery. The location was specified. Two professional men arrived on time, moved quickly, and unloaded the truck as if it was their property. The charge was the agreed upon fee, and the entire operation went perfectly.

Their price was double compared to other estimates I received. He was very professional, prompt and courteous. I had no problems with them other than the expensive price.
