We ended up not using them but they gave us a really competitive quote. They are very responsive in getting out here and doing that. Overall, they are a really good company to deal with even though we didn’t use them. They were out here right on time. They are very competitive in the price they have provided.

Hung a custom light in an entry way with 20' ceiling. Also helped me trouble-shoot a few outlets not functioning correctly. Courteous, professional. Absolutely no issues.

Similar to prior visits by other professionals from this terrific company, Troy quickly identified the problem and fixed it. This is the third time I have used Allstar, and each time I have had a different person working with us. They were uniformly outstanding, and thus I am very happy to recommend this company.

We had a kitchen fire so we had to have code updating. Everything was rewired, they did a really good job. I also had them put in a ceiling venting system in the whole house. Tony was the guy who came out, he had to cut a hole in the ceiling for it. He did it by himself and just did a great job. He was very personable, he had to come in once when I wasn't home and I felt comfortable with that.

Allstar was brought in by my general contractor to do the electrical work for a home remodel. The scope of the work required was far greater than the original estimate and took a great deal longer. We ended up needing a whole new box and meter, as well as about a dozen circuits added to the 1976 home we are renovating. With the magnitude of the project changing the way it did, we could have been greatly worried about this phase of the work. Instead, we were kept well informed, made a few changes along the way, and our technician totally stepped up and pointed out some great ideas for convenience and safety that we would not have thought of ourselves. The work that Allstar did leaves us feeling newly confident about our remodeling project. We anticipate being very happy with their work for many years to come.

The provider was very nice and prompt in getting out to my house to see what work needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and asked good questions, indicating a broad knowledge as an electrician. I probably would have hired him. However, four weeks later, he has never provided me with any estimate. He said it would be slightly delayed and he'd get it to me in a week. Haven't heard a thing.

The quoted price was above other providers. But they were very fast in returning my call and quoting me a price. They were also polite on the phone.

We had tried several times to reset tripped breakers but were not successful. Troy came out first thing in the morning because we couldn't open the garage door. He called on the way to let us know he was in traffic but would arrive shortly. Because the breakers just needed to be reset, he only charged for half an hour. He was very professional.

Was difficult to contact, had to call back to get estimate and then it was not laid out as promised. It was apparent they did not want to do the job when they came here and it was a very small job. Very unprofessional!!!

I originally had them come out for an estimate. They called about 15 minutes prior to arrival for both appointments and were on time for both appointments. They had a good amount of flexibility for scheduling. During the estimate we discussed options for updating some electrical. I was unsure if my current conditions were safe or not. They reassured me that everything was up to code, and there was really no need to update it at that time. It felt like they advised by putting themselves in my shoes instead of forcing unnecessary work to be done. When I decided what work I wanted completed it was very easy to schedule. It was the same guy who came out for the estimate so he knew exactly what I wanted. They overestimated the time needed by about 2 hours, so I didn't spend as much as I expected. I think they do this in case they run into any issues behind the wall. They asked additional questions with each portion of the work to make sure it was completed as I wanted. Once they were finished they cleaned everything up and gave me a couple pointers for the future work i want to do. Everything is still working great and I will be using them again.

The electrician was very friendly and knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured by him to perform work that did not need to be done. He arrived on time and had all the necessary tools to do the job. Excellent contractor that I would use again if I have any further need for electrical work.

The problems with this wiring were discovered in the middle of another project, so timing was very important. Allstar Electrical Services responded to my initial project inquiry very quickly. They sent Mark out to start 2 days later. Mark was scheduled to be here at 8:00 AM...he called at 7:30 to confirm and was here right on time. Within 4 hours he had gotten far enough that the electrical components were out of the way and the other work could proceed. He came back a few days later to finish up - again he was here exactly on time. Everything was completed very professionally. The project was billed as T&M and came in at half of a fixed-cost bid from another provider.

The visit started off poorly when the electrician showed up an hour late, without a phone call to give me an update, making me late for work. Once he got there we walked through my house so that I could show him all of the different outlets and switches that needed to be updated. It was about 25 new fixtures, mostly outlets and a few switches. He started working immediately and I took off for work. I live in a old house and after working on it understand that there are always going to be unexpected surprises that slow down any project. This was the case for this job as well. Several of the switches did not have boxes and need to be updated with new boxes. The electrician called me up to inform that this was something that needed to be done in order to bring it up to code and I agreed that he should put them in. The problem with this was that he did not set the boxes far enough back and the face plates do not sit flush with the wall, it looks very shotty. The second problem was something I found a few days later when I tried to use my microwave and it kept triggering the fuse to pop on the GFI outlet next to it. My microwave no longer works at that outlet. I tried to help him out by having all of the outlet covers removed prior to him being there and I told him not to worry about replacing them or cleaning up when he was done, so that it would expedite the process. It took the electrician 7 hours to complete most of the work (he forgot to change the the switches in the bathroom) and cost me $530 and I am still going to have to have someone else come out and fix his mistakes.

The electrician was prompt, professional and knowledgable. He tried to repair one light but there were no parts available that he could guarantee it would fix the problem. He recommended we buy new ones, but that had to be our decision. We chose to replace and we were very glad we did. We found they were very reasonable, and yes we would hire this company again.

We had several outlets in the house stop working on a Sunday. We replaced the breaker on our own, but that didn't fix the issue. I called the number expecting to leave a message, but reached a person who had someone call us back within minutes. An electrician was able to come out to our house within an hour. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed our issue quickly; he even helped us with a couple other small issues/questions while he was there. We would definitely recommend Allstar Electrical and will use this company in the future.

Arrived on time and proceeded to start work immediately allowing me to do some of the basic preparation/carpentry and cleanup to save on cost. Answered many of my questions regarding wiring and was more than willing to offer professional recommendations. Very happy with the work and cost of work. I appreciated the willingness to use some of my receptacles and materials to save money in addition to allowing me to do whatever I could to limit the amount of 'non-electrical' preparatory work.

Gary came out at the scheduled time (2 and half weeks ago) and took all of the information needed to provide us with a quote. He told me he would have the quote ready for me by the beginning of the following week. i never heard from him again! I even called and left him a voice message a week after he was supposed to provide the quote, and he never returned my call.

It went well. The electrician was able to fix the issue without having to tear apart all the wiring in my home.

Will use them again for electrical. On time/reasonably priced for all the work for approx 4 hours and very professional too.

These guys are total pros. They got right back to me when I called, were able to schedule the work quickly, and showed up right on time. Our electrician was named Mark. We weren't sure, based on the purchase inspection of our home, if we'd be able to have overhead lighting/fans put into all the bedrooms. Mark's response was "anything is possible!" and in fact got three of the four fans set up pretty quickly and with zero drywall damage. One room that didn't have any attic over it was trickier, but he managed to get it wired with very minimal drywall work needed. Also, the fans we selected for our kids' rooms were making strange noises, which he pointed out. I ended up returning the fans while Mark worked on other rooms, and came back with new ones that he then installed. It definitely felt like he cared about the quality of all the work as if it were his own home. Prior to this we'd been using a very large, very expensive electrical service chain and knew they were probably ripping us off - and not doing particularly good work. From now on All Star will be our go-to electricians - they are great and priced competitively. I couldn't be happier with the results.

We called Allstar on Friday, they made an appointment on the spot for Monday morning. Tony was very professional, called when he was nearby and was on time. He worked several hours as he needed to investigate why these outlets were not consistently working - a great detective! With problems identified the outlets were working again, and we are confident they will continue to do so. Not only will we use Allstar again but we will recommend them to others who have been looking for reliable electricians.

We called Allstar Electrical on a referral from Sundog Electric (another highly rated electrician on Angie's List) because Sundog was too busy to take on the job at the time. We couldn't be happier. I explained the job over the phone and was quoted a price of approx. $700 with materials, but was told the job would be completed on a T&M basis. They scheduled the job for the Monday of the following week at 8 am. The installer (Mark) called 45 minutes before arrival to confirm the time, and started right at 8. We went over the details of the job, and Mark helped answer some questions and offer suggestions about where to place our switches and can lights. By 12:45 the job was completed perfectly, and way under our budget and Allstar's original estimate - total of $463 (we were quoted $1050 for the job by another electrician who came out for an on-site estimate, and told me they'd need "2 guys here all day for the job").
