They did a good job. They were priced a bit high, but they were able to fix the problem for us.

I will call again when needed, that should say it all.

We started out with a bit of a hiccup. The assigned technician for the 1 to 3 window of time got busy with another client and didn't show nor call. I called the office number and the owner spoke with me directly, apologized and assigned another technician for first thing the next morning. He came right on time, found the problem, fixed it and was out in less than an hour. We were quite pleased.

They did a real good job. He did the work very fast and I would definitely call them again if I needed their services.

Electrician was on time, professional, friendly and worked efficiently. During the course of removing the ceiling light fixture, it was discovered that the junction box provided power to an additional light. Instead of removing the junction box entirely and running power to the additional light through the entire ceiling from a switch on the opposite side of the room, the electrician inquired about leaving the junction box in tact and simply covering the small hole with a nearby smoke detector. This alternative met code, saved time, money and a fair amount of ceiling damage.

We had a great experience with this company. They were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They were able to give us a few options and let us choose the one that worked best for us. We highly recommend Allstar Electrical.

Received a visit from Gary, seemed like great guy, fun to talk with, professional and asked the right questions. He said his secretary would email the quote and I never heard from her. I emailed him a few days later to ask whether they'd recorded my email incorrectly and STILL no response. I'm annoyed that I waited so many days ... now searching for another. If they didn't want the job then just say so.

Despite several requests for estimates for other projects they never responded.

They did a good job. We liked them. They did it quickly. They did not charge us an arm and a leg.

Great! Kitchen light replacement involved quite a bit of detective work with very old ceiling wiring and some fuse identification - Chris stuck with it and solved the problem. He also explained why adding a ceiling fan would entail new wiring and explained how garage lighting could be fixed (also requiring new wiring). These explanations were really helpful in my decision making on these projects. I decided both of these were not worth doing. I got an Angie's list discount. I plan to call them again with some other electrical work.

I don't doubt the work would have been well done but I do know my home renovation budget would have taken quite a hit. The other company I hired continues to help me update the electrical system in house and I still have not spent as much as estimated by Allstar. Do yourself a favor and get other estimates. At least then you can use these to get yourself a better price.

Darrell was assigned to my job. He was on time (got there before me the first day! eek!!), was efficient, friendly, professional, courteous, ... the list goes on and on!! Originally he thought everything would take two, possibly three days, but he was done in a day and a half. Awesome!! I would completely recommend these guys to anyone looking for electrical work, and would definitely use them again if something comes up!

AllStar replied promptly to our email inquiry, scheduled a time to do an on site estimate within two days, and was able to complete the work within a few days of the estimate. Price was very reasonable considering the amount of work, everyone arrived on time (early actually) and the electrician did good work and cleaned up after himself. Definetely among the best contractor experiences we have had.

Very happy. Used them on two occasions last two weeks. First guy, Jim, showed up on time, very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly. Went straight to work. Went and got the parts needed. Finished the job. Second visit, from Darryl, equal caliber. Installed two fans, plus new light fixture in hallway. Cleaned up after himself - vacuumed everywhere he'd been. Everything checked out.

Professional and COMPLETELY competent! Matt came with a good attitude and ready to conquer all problems. He went right to work and worked quickly. Excellent customer service from their office staff too.

Darrell was assigned to our job. He arrived on time. He estimated three to four hours of work. He worked efficiently. He was professional, friendly, and courteous. The job was done in three hours and looks great.

Overall, very qualified and great...the one thing was the service rep rounded up by a quater hour and when the hourly rate is expensive this did not seem right.

The service was great...two men and two ladders hung a 126 ILB Chandelier 18 feet up in an entry way. They did an outstanding job and it looks great. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called Allstar Electrical on 9/16/2009. They gave me a phone estimate of $300-400 and a time estimate of 3-4 hours and agreed to send an electrician the next day. Darrell arrived on time and did the job in 3 1/2 hours, including installing breakers in the subpanel, running the wires, installing the outlet boxes and testing the circuits. Darrell was professional and pleasant. He asked appropriate questions re my needs at the start, and answered mine completely while never slowing down. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Phenomenal from the beginning! I place a great deal of emphasis on how I am treated from the first call (i.e. the professionalism of the receptionist, the estimator and the individuals who actually perform the work). That sets the tone of how I will judge the experience. Jon Stone came out quickly and did the estimate. I was impressed with his write up which included photos of the areas that were going to be improved. As a mom of 3 twentysomething sons, I was even more impressed with receiving a hand written thank you from Jon Stone. After we agreed on which work would commence the date of work was set to my schedule and Darryl the electrician showed up on time. He was personable and was not hesitant in asking the right questions so that we would be pleased with the end product. Extremely polite- that was so wonderful! The second day he brought out Steve and an assistant. All three worked long and hard to achieve the results we wanted. They had literally walked into an electrical can of worms from the previous contractors. I appreciated their politeness and respect as they came in and out of our home. Very professional! They explained their work and even arranged for the City of Aurora Inspection for us to happen next week. I offered to pay when they completed the work but they said not until the City of Aurora inspected their work and all was well. WOW! That was refreshing. There was a slight issue with the garage refrigerator on the day after. I called immediately at 8 AM, and Gary the owner had Steve back out before lunch. Since I was away from the house when Steve arrived (I had left a key because I felt very comfortable to do so) Steve wrote out in detail what he had fixed so that the garage refrig. was working. There will be interior lighting to be installed in the next month or two; obviously Allstar will have our business for years to come.

Electrician arrived on time & got all that we asked for (+1 additional request) finished in just 2 hours. So far everything is working as well as I could wish for.

They cam on time, everything went really smoothly. They finished everything in two hours.

I called Allstar at noon on Thursday and they schedule an electrician to come over at 8 am the next day. Since this was a trouble shooting and repair call I was charged an hourly rate. Matt was very professional, friendly, and worked very effeciently. All of the issues were resolved and the value that Matt provided through his knowledge and work was well worth the value of my $330 I paid. I have some future outside lighting plans in mind and will definitely use Allstar.

As we had to order the fixture with a 3 day ship time, Allstar kept in contact with us on a daily basis. They were in to our house the morning after receipt. The electrician was on time, worked swiftly and totally vacuumed and and wiped down the work area. They also took the old fixture, corrugation and packing material. This is a class operation/company. It is easy to see why they are at the top of Angies' List
