I returned home from several months away. I found that my breakers were kicking off for no apparent reason. I searched Angie's List for a good electrician and chose Allstar. I called and spoke with Katherine who promised to have Gary call me. Gary did call me in a reasonable amount of time. He told me they had a full schedule today, but he'd send someone out this same afternoon between 2 and 5 PM. He said he'd have the young man call me when he was on his way. At 2:05 PM Adam called to say he would be here in about 30 to 45 minutes. He arrived about 2:35 and got right down to work. He was very polite and actually listened to me and asked questions to clarify his understanding of the problem. He checked out the entire breaker box and the air conditioning unit. There was one really loose wire that was arcing and melting the wire insulation. He trimmed the wire and tightened down all of the contacts. He took a picture of a part in the AC unit that he felt probably needed to be replaced and emailed it to me for future reference with an HVAC service, along with the information I would need to give them to get a quote on the repair. Adam also checked out the wiring in the basement and the lines coming in from the AC unit to make sure the loose wire in the breaker box and the arcing part in the AC unit were the only problems. He also asked if I had found any other problems that he might fix for me. I showed him an electrical outlet I had been using for my mother's oxygen concentrator. It seemed to have quit working, making the concentrator just buzz and not operate. Adam was finished within an hour and I feel much safer now that the breaker box is checked out and tightened down. He is a sweet young man.

It went great! We had attempted to replace the ceiling exhaust fan in our shower by ourselves. It didn't go very well and we mangled the new exhaust fan that we had bought while we tried to install it. The husband gave up and I called an electrician. I bought another new fan to replace the one we mangled and had it ready when the electrician came. It took him less than n an hour to install it properly, including connecting to the existing ductwork. in addition, he was able to use the exhaust fan we thought we had ruined, so we could now return the second replacement fan!! We also had him look at some pendant lights in our kitchen that seemed to go in and out despite replacing bulbs. He took the time to explain how they worked and what the problem was. He also gave me tips to troubleshoot next time if it happens again. I will definitely call AllStar Electrical if I ever need an electrician again.

It went GREAT - they came when they said, got to my job in less than 24 hours, and the price was less than I expected.

Called regarding electrical/panel issues and had an electrician at my door within a few hours. Adam was professional, courteous and very thorough in explaining what was wrong as well as being consultative as to what we may need to do in the future to prevent ongoing issues. Very happy with Allstar Electrical Services and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. They are now my "go-to" for anything electrical!

I had All-Star come out about 3 weeks ago to determine why all of the landscape lighting had stopped working. The technician thought that it was the tarnsformer but didn't have the appropriate one to replace it with right then. I called them about a week later to tell them that I did want them to order a new tarnsformer. They ordered a new one and came back about 3 weeks later to install it. The only thing is that it did take them so long and I had to make a couple of calls to see if they were planning on coming back. Once they did come back it all went well and Mark did a great job.

I called for help with my inoperative ceiling fan. Tom came the next day and after trying several different ways, he determined that the remote for the ceiling fan was not working and a wire had come loose in the ceiling fan so it wasn't making the connection. I was happy that the fan was working when he left (within the one hour's minimum charge.) Very professional, and I would not hesitate to call them again.

Everyone was professional, pleasent and gave an impression of competence. The best experience for which I could have hoped. This is now my go-to company for any electrical issue. Could not be more pleased.

The installer was finished in an hour and a half, and very cleverly installed the outlet with an extreme minimum of cutting involved, and with a super professional finished product. The installer answered my pestering questions along the way, and was cheery and good natured the entire time. We was on time, and finished under the original amount I thought I would need to pay.

The receptionist was able to get me in the next day. The electrician arrived at the scheduled time. He was friendly and went over the jobs to be completed. He worked quickly and efficiently. Everything looked great. Job well done with no hassles.

ADAM THE TECH ARRIVED ON TIME, WAS PROFESSIONAL, AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS NEEDED AND PRICE. LEFT THE HOUSE AS HE FOUND IT. WILL USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IF NEEDED.

I am very disappointed with the lack of service from this company. Gary Stone himself came out for an estimate and that was all. He had said his staff was short and would get me the estimate the following week. Nothing, so I e mailed them and got a response on 4-2 that Gary was not in and should be in later in the week. The next day Gary e mailed, said he had been down with the flu and would get me an estimate the next day. This was weeks ago and as of today (May 22st) I've not heard a thing. I even told him if he didn't want the business to please let me know so I could look elsewhere. Never heard a thing. I'll seek service elsewhere.Thank you

Gary gave us an estimate which was $300.00 less than another company's. AllStar was able to complete the work within a few days of the estimate. Mark installed the panel. He was very efficient, knowledgable and professional. He cleaned up after the work was completed. Gary said a permit would be needed and he would get it. The other company said they would get a permit if we wanted one. I do not appreciate businesses that want to circumvent government regulations that are in place for safety. The city inspector required additional grounding for the electrical panel. AllStar completed the additional work promptly. When we received the invoice, it did not include charges for the additional work. We contacted AllStar and requested another invoice. I don't think they would have charged us for the additional work if we had not insisted they do so. What an honest, reliable company. We will definitely use them again.

It went very quickly. Cleaned up after himself. Since it was an hourly rate and the initial task didn't take an hour, he asked if there were any other electical items he could do. At first I said no, but then I remember a couple outlets I wanted switched out and he did them for me.

After attempting to install a second control switch the ceiling fan and lights stopped working completely. We called AllStar and their electrician came out and traced the problem to a blown remote controller, the next day. If we had asked them to do the replacement he was ready to call and schedule it however, we decided to do it ourselves as the celing is 21' over a stairwell and we had installed the fan initially. He was professional, friendly and helpful. We will call them again for any further electrical work we may need done.

I had all my wired smoke detectors replaced. Mike told me they probably just needed to be cleaned. However i had purchaed new ones, since originals were over 12 years old. He was efficient & explained everything I asked. He tested the house wiring before installing new ones. Mike checked wiring on porch photocell & determined wiring was ok, just needed new photocell It has been over 10 years since photocell has worked. Builder fixed twice the first year. When it stopped working 2nd time just resigned to doing without it. i am completely satisfied & will use in the future.

Mark Ford called me at 7:40 AM telling me that he was enroute to my house. He arrive at 8 AM to begin the job. He made very careful drywall cuts for access. This was critical as no attic access was available for these fan locations. He installed and tested each fan and switch. Then he carefully replaced the drywall pieces that were removed to faciliate the drywall repair. The work was done in an organized manner within the time estimated. He treated my house as if it were his own.

When I called for an appointment, I was very surprised to be treated so professionally as that had not been my experience with electrical contractors in the past. I was told the work as I described it would probably take about 2 hours. Mark arrived punctually for the appointment and proceeded to thoroughly check the electrical connections to the switches and then replace them, then installed the front porch fixture, and the smoke alarm and tested it. He wasted no time and I was very pleased with his thoroughness, as well as his knowledge when I asked questions. He actually finished in a shorter period of time than I had expected. I plan to have two ceiling fans installed soon and will absolutely call Allstar!

I received a courtesy call from Adam notifying me of his time of arrival. Once on site, he carefully evaluated the situation and did the job in a professional, competent manner explaining everything to me along the way. The results look great and the whole experience was delightful. Adam was cheerful, engaging and very professional.

I'm very impressed with my experience using Allstar Electrical Services. The Tech Jason did a great job, had no problem tackling the tasks I needed done, was very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. Was even able leave him at my home unattended while I took care of some errands. The service was top notch and pricing very fair! I will definitely be calling them back in the future for some more work / upgrades to my home.

The experience was very painless. He installed it quickly and then took time to make sure that it was properly aligned and placed as we wanted.

Chris (my tech) did a great job. Arrived on time, very professional and courteous. We're re-doing one the children's rooms, and currently there is no ceiling light there. We wanted a new fixture added for a ceiling fan, and the switch rewired to control the ceiling fixture instead of one of the wall outlets like it currently does. Also had him replace all the outlets in the room and terminate some questionable electrical work that I believe was done by the previous homeowner. Also wanted a new exterior outlet added at the side of the house where eventually I will be installing a new sprinkler timer. After I showed him the work I needed done, he made some excellent suggestions to minimize the damage that would be done to existing drywall, and also regarding placement of the exterior outlet to minimize possible weather exposure. Did the entire job in about 4 hours, much quicker than I would have guessed (the new exterior outlet i was adding had some challenges because of its location). Final cost was even slightly less than the initial rough estimate I got over the phone! I'm very satisfied, will definitely be calling them back for my future electrical needs.

From start to finish, everything went better than I had expected.

I contacted company first thing - 7 am - on Monday morning. They arranged for a contract to come right out - arriving forty minutes later. He arrived in company vehicle, identified himself, listened to my description of the problem. Then he checked the lights and outlet in the room that were not working and then electrical outlets in adjoining rooms. I helped move furniture to give access to all of the outlets. He then checked the circuit box and examined the breakers. He was able to determine a current, but it was below the level needed to power equipment. He then opened up and checked inside outlets until determining that all were experiencing the same issue with nothing apparently wrong at that point. He then brought in a ladder and went up in the attic where he discovered that there was a loose wire in the junction box leading into the room. He fixed the wire and the problem was resolved. He explained the problem and his solution. He presented me with the bill which I paid.

Install went great (it was about $200 more than the over the phone estimate, there wasn't a clear explanation as to why it was more) One month after the install, the new outlets stopped working. I called Allstar and they replaced them within 2 days and it was all covered under warranty.

He did a very thorough job and explained how it happened. They even were able to coordinate a service visit the same day I called. Our problem was caused by a power surge. It will not cost very much to add a whole house surge protector in our electric panel (estimated $85-100). Our home was newly built but he said the builders don't usually add this feature. We will have them take care of it for us in the next few weeks so we don't have the problem again.
