On July 28, 2016, my roof and skylights were pummeled by hail. Brendan Christenson (Sales / Account Manager for Advanced Exteriors) came by the very next day to apply tarps over the skylights and damaged roof areas. Kyle Anderson (Project Manager) was out when the adjustor arrived to survey the damage and document the items needing repair. Without Kyle’s help, we would have missed quite a lot of damage. My new skylights had to be custom ordered - which delayed the installation process by a few weeks. During this process, Brendan was in frequent contact - which eased my concerns - and said he was shooting for a seamless install for the roof and the 8 foot long skylights. To compensate for the delay - and ongoing weather concerns - Brendan dispatched a very large crew for the job. My roof was finished by 10:30 on their second day off work! Overall, my experience with Advanced Exteriors was very positive! They were reassuringly professional and highly responsive to my concerns via phone or email. The roof and skylights were installed in-between bouts of extreme cold and snow. Having the larger crew to do the work when the weather cooperated was terrific. I was contacted immediately following the installation to see if I had questions or concerns. I am very pleased with the outcome (the roof and skylights look terrific) - and I would unequivocally recommend Advanced Exteriors to friends, family, and neighbors. Given that hundreds of homes were impacted by the hailstorm, and the numerous roofing companies ringing doorbells and seeking contracts, I feel quite fortunate to have chosen such an outstanding company to get the job done right! Consistent with their motto expresses, Advanced Exterior really did provide me with 'peace of mind' through the entire process.

A friend found them on Angie's list and said that they did a great job for her. I called them and they came out right away. The storm hit my rental and I really don't have time to deal with stuff like this. The Project Manager Chris Konecny was very knowledgeable with the insurance process. I have a great insurance company, but they have missed some things on the house that had gotten damaged. Chris walked the property and looked at everything. Right away he had seen things that the nice adjuster from the insurance company had missed. Advanced Exteriors had sent in their estimate to USAA for the difference's. Meet them back out at my rental and then settled my claim with my insurance company. The claim went from 26,000 to just under 35,000. It was like hitting the easy button. I could go on with my busy life and let the pros handle my hail restoration. If I have another storm come though. I would definitely use them again. Thank You Advanced Exteriors! Excellent! There were no problems at all. High quality work was all done in a timely manner. Project manager Dave Newell is very responsive and good to work with. The house looks great after it was significantly damaged from a very violent hailstorm on July 2, 2016.

I contacted Robert Krause in July of 2015. After receiving estimates, we awarded the jobs via email and phone. Then they disappeared...no reply. After 10 phone calls to them and and several emails, he finally replied by picking up his phone. This took about a month. His excuse was "I called those guys and I thought they had contacted you." Several more unanswered calls and emails later with no reply, I sent an email telling him I would review him on Angies List. That was 9/27/15, well over two months after receiving his bid. I realize I am remiss in not writing this sooner, hopefully helping someone else avoid the frustration. After the initial visit, their conduct was completely unprofessional and unethical. The total bid was about $3000

I thought I had completed this review, and when I signed on today, I realized I had not. Regardless, it was perfect. First, I appreciated that Kyle was respectful, and did not talk down to me. As a woman, this happens more often than not. He presented my options and quoted me the same price throughout the the process. There were, of course, insurance details. Kyle met with the adjuster, took photos alongside, and gave options if the claim was not accepted. The planning went smoothly, and when the wrong vents were delivered, Kyle cleared that up immediately. Everything went according to plan, from planning, delivery, and roof installment. One day on the roof and everyone was done. A snow storm caused a delay, but that did not hold up Kyle's team. I hope that I will not need a roof for a long time, but if I do, I know exactly where I will turn-Advanced Exteriors will be my go to! Thank you for making the process smooth and relatively painless.

I decided to use Advanced Exteriors to replace the roofing and gutters on my patio roof. I choose Advanced Exteriors over other roofers based on Angie's List reviews and the warranties (both materials and labor). The quality of work appears to be very good. I'm happy with that work. I am disappointed with the sales and office staff. The roof work was performed on June 15, the siding was not completed for almost a week later. The siding specialist came and left after a few minutes and then never came back. When the bill came I told them I wouldn't pay until work is complete and the siding and gutter work is not yet complete. A few days later the siding was completed. Unfortunately as of July 5 the gutter work is still not done. Apparently the sales guy didn't put my house on the gutter schedule and I am on hold for now. Communication was poor. I never knew when or if someone would come by. Or when I was told someone would come by they were either early or late. But the invoice sure comes with regularity. :-)

I called AE back today to look at issues I was having with my Downspouts. It was the previous roofing company who had installed them, and there had been many issues with them. Blake Lott ( project Manager ) came out to look at the work and immediately fixed the downspouts while explaining to me what had been done wrong by the original installation company. He did not charge me for these repairs.

Very responsive initially. Wrote up a detailed estimate and worked with insurance company to add a few things to their original settlement. Agreed after settlement finalized to cancel one window replacement and use the money on a few other fixes instead. Long story short- damage was in October 2014, and here in June 2016 they finally finished. The long version is that the roof replacement was done fairly promptly, about 4 months after initial contact- although I was planning to install solar panels and tried to get them to work with the solar company to coordinate the work, so as to avoid the solar folks punching holes in my brand new roof. Unsuccessful. But getting them to finish the other work has been like pulling teeth. Unreturned calls and emails, and when the workers do show up, often they do the job poorly or incompletely. The painter came out and was supposed to sand and paint the deck railings, which had large gouges from the hail, and to paint the spindles. Instead he painted the railings without sanding- leaving the deep gouges- and didn't paint the spindles at all, which looked like they had been sandblasted from the hail. After literally a year of nagging, they finally sent a painter out to do the spindles, but refused to sand and repaint the railings. We had one broken window and another with damaged vinyl. We agreed to replace only one window, and repair the vinyl on the other, then use that money to replace some gutters. The gutters finally got done in Feb 2016 (16 months later) and the one window's vinyl was finally fixed this month- 20 months after the storm. I honestly can't believe that it took over 20 months and dozens of emails and calls to get the work finished.

The Ins Co paid hail damage claims to Advanced exteriors for roof, windows, gutters, arn roof, etc... They took forever and workers didnt speak english so we couldnt communicate with them.

We chose Advanced Exteriors partly due to the initial meeting. Eli went up on the roof and cleaned off debris from a hail storm that was blocking the gutters. I liked that they were able to work with the insurance company. That summer the big hail storm had adjusters working overtime and Advanced Exteriors was able to help make sure we had a roof that was replacement value.They didn't seem mind that we looked at a variety of options. We went with an impact resistant roof that wound up lowering our insurance costs. AE also worked with us to fix some problematic gutters. The crews were polite and worked hard.

Initial estimate and contact was great. Important duties performed in a timely manner. AE negotiated with insurance to complete all repairs on the house. All tasks completed done well and all subcontractors were great. However, AE has refused to complete several of the tasks they negotiated with insurance and instead wants me to "take the money and do it myself" including painting the house and sanding the deck. Getting the feeling that they just want to close the project up after a year. I'm going to let them finish up now, but theres still plenty of work that ill have to hire yet another company for. I would have recommended them up until they started ducking out on the job.

It all went very well. The only problem we had was when a sub-contractor didn't show up one day.

I was extremely impressed with the service we had. I never felt like we were pushed into things we didn't want or need. Advanced Exteriors was also able to liaise with our insurance company to get the most out of our insurance. It was very little work for us, which was a relief. The work went extremely quickly, and the quality was excellent. The roofers cleaned up very well when they were finished, so we didn't have to do any clean up work afterward. We plan to call Advanced Exteriors next time we need work on the house. I have already recommended them to several of our neighbors who's property was also damaged by the hail.

We would definitely recommend Advanced Exteriors. The quality of work and materials were excellent. Excellent customer service and very easy to work with. They took care of all of the details with the insurance. Very satisfied.

We hired them to replace our hail damaged roof, vents, gutters, etc. in July of 2011. I really want to say that they do quality work, but we had so many issues with them. We had to contact them again and again to finish the work - it took them over two years to complete everything. One of the gentlemen we worked with was so nice, very informed, really upfront with everything. But the other one (who we later learned was new when he took on our "project") was difficult - he would lie, he was late, claim to have been here when he wasn't - and ended up yelling at me in front of my child when I brought up the difficulties we had with him at the final settlement meeting. He was incredibly unprofessional. Horrible experience, but I think he is a terrible person and I wouldn't use this company again just on the off chance that I would have to deal with him. Their work seems quality - at least they say they use quality materials and it looks good now. In process, we had to call again and again to have them return and fix things. A piece they had forgotten on the roof, they had forgotten to trim the plastic liner and it was hanging like streamers in front of our garage, etc, etc. Now I am pretty sure we have a good quality roof (it isn't like I can get up there and tell you ANYTHING about it except what the papers they gave me say) but I just don't think it was worth the two years of stress that we went through getting it done. We have friends who have used them where they were fantastic, but that is not my experience with them.

#1 - we interviewed at least 4 roofing companies. Robert Krouse came out to meet with us and look at the problem. Robert was the only one who thought outside the box when putting our options together. We knew that the original design of the house was flawed in that the roofline between the garage and house created a 20 foot long valley where water pooled and ice dams formed causing significant leaking over the years in the breezeway underneath. Robert proposed fixing the shake shingle roofline, replacing the roofing material, and also proposed a permanent fix to the valley/ice dam problem by altering the roof line with a cricket. Robert was the only one who proposed a permanent fix to the ice dam problem, along with other options, and that got my attention #2 - Robert was great in that he was not a high pressure guy, listened, but also was honest about any challenges we might face along the way. #3 - Roof replacement went smooth, team showed up, removed the shake roof and built the cricket on day one. The roof was put on day 2. Team cleaned and hauled everything away very nicely - was very happy with this. #4 - Gutter installation occurred a few days later, there was a little disconnect with what we were asking for and what the gutter guys thought they were going to do, but Robert was there, smoothed it over, and the job was done as I had hoped it would be. Rerouting a couple of the downspouts that were poorly placed in the original install to move water away from the house even further. #5 - Then when we inspected, there were several items that needed addressing or looking into. Robert always followed up and on a couple of occasions came out and took care of the issue himself. The one big issue was that the water flow from the cricket under extreme storming - as happened in July this year - flowed over the top of the gutter. Robert personally researched several options and designed a system to trap the water in these extreme situations and installed it himself. We are extremely happy with the job AE did, and specifically Robert. I know that if I see anything, or have any concerns that Robert and the team (Andy, etc.) will come out and ensure it is taken care of and that I am happy before calling it good.

Wonderful! Not only were they the lowest bid, they got both homes on the schedule quickly and they are both completely done already. They are honest, fair, and do quality work. And the and quot;biggieand quot;, they even cleaned up after themselves like they were never here. Very hard to find these days. I wish that all companies had the integrity that Advanced Exteriors has. We worked exclusively with Mike and he was wonderful and always available.

I was very pleased with the work. The crew stayed late to finish the job, rather than just going home at 5:00. The company was very helpful, even e-mailing me the documents (permit, IRS forms, etc) that my mortgage company needed to process payments. They even came out to check that the work was being done.

I called to schedule an appt for gutter repair and the receptionist was very nice and I received a call promptly from the project manager. I scheduled a date for them to come and they never showed up. When I called to ask why they didn't show up I never received a response. Very disappointing.

This is a review for my Mother-in-law's home; we live in an entirely different state, so the entire process was handled via email and phone. I sent 3 emails based on Angie's list ratings, and Cliff with AE was the first to respond. He called me and set up a time to visit the house, stopped by, provided a bid, and followed up several times to see where we were in the process. Once we were ready for the work, he coordinated the date for the work, material delivery on Thursday, work on Friday. When they did the actual roofing work, they covered all the bushes, picked up the debris, and spent some extra time working on a portion of the roof that had leaked in the past. My Mother-in-law had nothing but high praise for Cliff and the team at AE. overall, very easy process, good communications, and they followed through very well on the job.

They were rude from the get-go. If it wasn't for my HOA, I wouldn't have gone with them. My HOA was pressing me that they were going to fine me if I didn't fix my roof by a certain time. The guy who showed up for the presentation, Brandon or something like that, he was so rude. They were late to do my roof which was okay. It was when the flood happened and I was really patient because people were losing their property and in certain part of Colorado the flood was so bad. I was really nice about it and patient. When they finally did do my roof, they rushed through it. I don't feel like they've done an excellent quality job like I thought they would. I guess, it looks okay but my neighbor had had his roof done with them and his roof looks way better. They took some actual care and consideration in doing his roof. They did give me some free extras like they gave me a free gutter but it was like I had to wait forever for something like that too. Finally they came and I guess it looks okay. But I don't think I would ever use them again. The cost of the service was $8000 and it was around $4000 or $5000 or $6000 to do my neighbor's roof. So it was like a big difference. They were vague about the pricing. He ended up charging my insurance company. It didn't come out of my pocket, but it came out of my insurance company's pocket which to me is so wrong because my insurance company is going to pass along the increase as an increase in premiums to me and other customers. When I finally went to talk to them, I was shocked to find out that the total was $8000. The invoice lady was very sweet and compassionate and gave me time to take care of my bill. What bothers me is that he found a way to charge me up to the max of what my insurance would provide. I wish I had waited and asked him for an upfront pricing. He asked to see my insurance papers and when he saw how much my insurance company was willing, to pay he charged me up to the max. I had wood shingles. It's a lot more money to fix wood shingles. So my insurance company was going from the point of view that I was going to have it redone as a wood shingle instead of the other kind. He saw that and he just saw a Dollar sign. They were late and they didn't communicate with me properly. I would never use them again or recommend them. Sometimes I'd call them and they would like call me the next day. They sent me a letter. I was late paying co-pay or something and it was a letter threatening to put a lien against my property. When you are invited to come over and fix something on their property it's a trust issue. I paid them and I just won't ever use them again. I don't ever want to hear from them again. I don't owe them and they don't owe me and I guess the roof looks okay. It's a functioning roof.

The guy who gave me his card was Andrew Graves. I get somebody asked for me to do it cheaper on the side. They said $800-$1000. I do not know how they figure that that there was a lot of work to be done and cost more than that.

There were no problems. They were informative, professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I had one minor problem that they immediately came back and took care of.

The job was huge as the roofers had to remove 3 layers of shingles and shake from a one and a half story roof with a 45 degree pitch and work within a very confined space in between houses. There were problems along the way that were all dealt with and fixed to my satisfaction. All in all the knowledge, customer service and professionalism of the guys I dealt with was exceptional.

New roof, including new vents. Great job. They were here when they said they would be, and were available for questions by phone up to the day of installation. We were never in the dark, and felt that our job was important to them. Good company.
